RhondaJean · 28/09/2013 18:12

Excellent thats the last thing I need for mil.

CherryMonster · 28/09/2013 18:13

if anyone could find me some bargains i would be eternally grateful. I am looking for stockings. something really nice and classy for dp who has never had one, and 4 for the dc's, co-ordinating if possible, not huge for any of them but not little teeny ones, not too expensive but something that will last. TIA

JustBecauseICan · 28/09/2013 18:14

Ah, but at the very beginning of December, (It's usually a Friday!) Thorntons will do the mahoooooosive 50% off their mahooooosive hampers, which gives you IIRC £150 of chocolate for (obv) £75.

And the hampers come in such a splendid box, you can keep all your deckies in it so it's almost obligatory to order your own weight in chocolate. Grin

RhondaJean · 28/09/2013 18:15

Oh no should I wait then?

Do I want £150 of chocolate? I only need 3 boxes for presents.

JaquelineHyde · 28/09/2013 18:16

Thanks again Reastie, you are doing a cracking job! Flowers

I think after the Christmas bargain threads are over and done with for this year, we should have a January sale - stock up on birthday gifts for the year thread Grin

I honestly don't know how I will cope buying things without this thread!

trixymalixy · 28/09/2013 18:16

I've just bought the interactive doc mcstuffins plus a couple of things DS wanted in the boots 3for 2 plus I got advantage card points, plus code UKEM60 gave 10% off an over £60 spend plus free delivery. Much better deal than the Argos 3 for 2s I had reserved as they were only in stock at an inconvenient store too!

trixymalixy · 28/09/2013 18:16

Oh and I went through quidco too

Littlemousewithcloggson · 28/09/2013 18:17

Thanks reastie.

How bad would it be to start shopping now for Christmas 2014?!

JaquelineHyde · 28/09/2013 18:18

Oooh also whilst we are talking of chocolate, obviously all the tins have started coming out and everywhere has them for £5 at the moment. However, Tesco are currently doing them for £4, we bought 5 various tins this week and so bought an extra tin saved £5.

JustBecauseICan · 28/09/2013 18:22

Rhonda...."Do I want £150 of chocolate...."

What sort of question is that huh?

I always give the whole ginormous ten tonne box to my Mum and we sit knee deep in Thorntons for weeks. But obviously you could split it up and look very generous by giving everyone a box.

The chocolate Santas tend to arrive bashed in, so you email Thorntons and they send more!!!

RhondaJean · 28/09/2013 18:24

Ooh is there chocolate santas in it, I buy them too. So for £75 I could g the chocolate santas and the three boxes I need and then eat my own body weight too?

craftynclothy · 28/09/2013 18:25

Marking place.

Picked up xmas bedding from primark and also got slippers for the dc at £3 a pair.

runningincircles · 28/09/2013 18:26

Thanks for yet another thread Reastie. I'm looking for deals on Disney Infinity figures if anyone knows of any. Also presents for my DH and DF Confused

clr2014 · 28/09/2013 18:26

New thread GrinGrinGrinGrin thanks reastie??

Also, thanks bitchy- just checked boden email and there was a tenner voucher!! Wasn't expecting one as had one 2 months ago! Woohoo! Now, does it stack? And what can I get for close to zippo

TheOnlyPink · 28/09/2013 18:26

reastie, thank you so much for posting this so often!!! Flowers

Joycey29 · 28/09/2013 18:26

Reastie - you are a starThanks

Love this thread, I have saved a fortune but still got what I want.
Thanks!

InTheRedCorner · 28/09/2013 18:28

Marking my place and very tempted with the chocolate tasting link!

TheOnlyPink · 28/09/2013 18:28

crafty, how much were the Xmas bedding in primark? Wondering if its worth a trip tomorrow!

JustBecauseICan · 28/09/2013 18:28

Chocolate Santas and various chocolate animals!

Just checked the website, not on sale yet. There is only a widgy pathetic not worth bothering with £30 one. Chuh.

Mipe · 28/09/2013 18:38

Yabbadabba I get my photo calendars from Vistaprint every year and they are great! They usually send out leaflets with Amazon parcels etc around October and you can get a full size one for 99p and desk ones for about 40p plus postage (about £5 I think). I use 2 email addresses and order one of each calendars on both so that is 2 big and 2 small calendars for about £12.

lilylaville · 28/09/2013 18:39

clr re@ BODEN Apparently it does stack with the 20% code. I was a dunce and only used the 10% one. nevermind

RhondaJean · 28/09/2013 18:39

Scoring the £5 for chocolate santas off my list now and replacing it with £75 for a hamper...

giraffeseatpineapples · 28/09/2013 18:42

Hama beads are on offer on amazon 6.66 for a giant tub!

LaTrucha · 28/09/2013 18:43

Thanks for the advice about Very Smile I think I tried to use that last year but they said I wasn't a new customer (I was). I've tried to log in in various ways now in case I forgot something and it doesn't recognise me so maybe I'll be luckier this year

giraffeseatpineapples · 28/09/2013 18:47

Sorry didn't introduce myself - how rude.

I have 3 dc between almost 3 and 8. All believe in santa! Last year I got personalised gift stickers from santa so they wouldnt recognise my handwriting Grin

Please if anyone sees Jake and the neverland pirates duplo on offer thats what I have in mind for dd2 Thanks

Am busily selling old bits and bobs from under their noses on facebook local pages to help fund xmas!

thanksalso Reastie for op as I see the sylvanian sofa set is now under £6 so may get that later!
