Wow - thanks Reastie!! As others have said, these OP's must be a huge effort for you on a weekly basis!!!

Do shout if you want a week off - I might be able to pull something together :)

I've been working all day today so will catch up tonight with both threads (not that I actually need to buy anymore for the moment!!) :)

JustBecauseICan · 28/09/2013 17:27

Done Glamour.

I keep hyperventilating and thinking I am spending a fortune, then I realise almost everything costs about £2 and I calm down. Grin

JustBecauseICan · 28/09/2013 17:30

To whoever was asking about Very.....wait awhile.....there is invariably a £20 off £40 or a £30 off £60. Always for new customers of course, but hey, when you have dp and dd's emails to hack your way into, who is to say who is a new customer and who has already got 398 accounts.......not me obviously, I wouldn't dream of it, guv

JustBecauseICan · 28/09/2013 17:30

Strike out fail. Grin

RhondaJean · 28/09/2013 17:32

I've done glamour as well.

I remembered I sent the second subscription to a friend so it's only next month I should get two magazines in.

keli5325 · 28/09/2013 17:33

got my 1st magazine from glamour this morning do i email to cancel?

bymoonlight · 28/09/2013 17:34

Rhonda that dress is lovely - so tempted to et for dd2 to wear for her party. A birthday two days after Christmas must be tricky. I thought having the dcs both in November was bad enough!

This thread makes it sooo much easier though.

Thanks for the Peppa pig suggestions on the other thread Smile

I think I have done the stockings but its so hard to know how much is enough to fill them up without getting them out and to do that I will have to dig through all the Christmas decorations.

Is anyone buying 'Christmas tat' to put in them? You know the wind up/jumping/clockwork kind of things? I have always done that in the past but now I kind of resent paying a lot of money for things which are ignored two minutes after the stockings are opened. But on the other hand they feel like a tradition now. I remember getting them in my stockings with fondness

I need to start working out which presents are for Christmas and which are for birthdays so I can start wrapping. Has anyone see any wrapping paper on offer (birthday or Christmas)?

Ziggyzoom · 28/09/2013 17:35

Checking in! Reastie will there be a detox thread after all this? Grin

Chockywockydoodah · 28/09/2013 17:40

Thanks so much Reastie for all your hard work with the threads Wine

MissBeehiving · 28/09/2013 17:41

Thanks Reastie

yabbadabba · 28/09/2013 17:50

I know. Bloody sneaky buggers bodyshop are. Ive emailed them to say ive recieved no free gift so will wait for them to reply.

Reastie · 28/09/2013 17:52

redbreast if you sign up with the link upthread you should be emailed a voucher for £10. If (unlikely I hope) you don't please let me know as I have one I can pm you (they are use once only codes and I won't use mine).

holidays Thanks I may need to take you up on that if it keeps chatty! I think it seems to have taken off more from last year - I think September last year we were taking at least a couple of weeks to fill the threads!

Ziggy definitely a bargain detox. I'll look out for juicers and wheatgrass and lemons as free gifts with magazine subscriptions to get us started

OP posts:
TooWetToWoo · 28/09/2013 17:52

Just marking place Thanks Reastie

JustBecauseICan · 28/09/2013 17:53

I did think it was odd tbh, with the Body Shop that you couldn't choose your gift, but I def saw on the checkout page "free gift" along with my body butters (am addicted) but checking order summary today it doesn't say anything, and of course am in furrinland whereas my orders are at my Mum's. (preventing her from exiting the building in case of fire as she keeps reminding me Grin) So I won't know until Dec for sure, but def didn't "choose" anything.

MissElodie · 28/09/2013 17:54

thanks reastie Flowers Smile I feel like I'd be lost without these threads now!!

Kat3L · 28/09/2013 17:54

Thanks Reastie, I love your threads and have a few things lined up to buy on pay day, the chocolate club offer has been tempting me for ages and I'd like to check out some of the photo gift offers too. I got a delivery today, of my fab 30p Boden t-shirt, £17 full price!

RedKites · 28/09/2013 17:54

Marking place... again! Thanks

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 28/09/2013 17:57

Thanks as always Reastie!

supermariossister · 28/09/2013 17:58

MooseyMoo · 28/09/2013 17:59

Thanks Reastie the OP must take you ages. Have a Brew and a Cake

keli5325 · 28/09/2013 18:00

Not sure how many Glamour subscriptions i have but now have another - ohh love this thread x

RhondaJean · 28/09/2013 18:05

Do you think at some point glamour will ban us from having any more?

I'm wondering if they do this £1 and free gift every month, if so if we do one a month we could have 12 presents out away for next Xmas for £12 and only 36 magazines...

DiaryOfAWimpyMum · 28/09/2013 18:05

I shouldn't post on here but still have my parents and a teenager to buy for.

DS2 did well from the last thread and I have lovely candles. Flowers

RhondaJean · 28/09/2013 18:06

Teenage boy or girl?

Trazzletoes · 28/09/2013 18:07

My local Tescos has HUGE Thorntons boxes for £6.62 or something down from £14.00-odd.
