Sixth thread Shock but it’s OK we are allowed to get excited about Christmas now as it’s September

I’ve been a bit sporadic with this OP in what has been selected for adding in or not as there are too many links to add them all in, hope I haven’t forgotten anything major. Please forgive the fact that so many sale and amazon products aren’t individually linked or are linked but price may since change by the time you click on it - so many of them are out of stock and amazon seem to change prices on an almost hourly basis (it feels like) on a number of items that were previously linked to. I haven’t checked all links to see if prices have altered since last thread so apologies if youg et very excited followed by disappointed. I will try to do better next time. As usual please tell me if any of these links/codes don’t work or if there’s anything particularly you want to be in the next OP (assuming there is another Wink ) how would I do any shopping without you now

Thanks for all your help in helping my christmas shopping in 2013 be once again bargainous Grin

VoldemortsNipple the crackle polishes only work over the top of nail varnish except topcoat. You can put a top coat over the top of the crackle but if you put a colour then topcoat then the crackle on top it won't crackle iykwim?! Any old coloured polish underneath is good.

ValiumQueen · 15/09/2013 21:21

The Next duvet is out of stock. I checked within moments of the original post and it was gone Hmm looks lovely too.

Oreocrumbs · 15/09/2013 21:21

Is this the next advent bedding? Its about £25+ on ebay!

I live right next to a next outlet, I'm off there first thing tomorrow for a hopeful rummage!

sameoldIggi · 15/09/2013 21:22

That's it Oreo! Mad pricing.

LaTrucha · 15/09/2013 21:25

Reastie - I think it's really useful to have a rundown of things so you can check back to the Op if something is mentioned you haven't spotted before. I suppose it saves people asking what the x.y,z bargain was. Links are nice but I think having the rundown is the really useful thing.

RhondaJean · 15/09/2013 21:33

Anyone got any ideas for something interesting for DH?

Ive been writing his list and it's a bit same old same old - I've got a big gift in mind so I'm looking for something around the £30 mark, but interesting and unusual. He likes clothes, music, fitness, boxing and martial arts, and Celtic fc.

VoldemortsNipple · 15/09/2013 21:36

Thank you nickdrake So if I can find a nice black OPI nail polish and add coloured crackle varnish, it would make a nice little set wrapped up in a cellophane bag. If not, I'll bung them in DDs make-up hamper.

iloveholidays · 15/09/2013 21:48

Nerf tag down to £10 from £26...
here

ShoopShoop · 15/09/2013 21:48

Oh holy moly....I just seem to have bought myself 3 tops and 3 dresses from Great Plains. I only popped on to see if they had any nice jewellery for DSiL!

It was me who wanted Nails Inc Voldemort. I was actually in TK Maxx last week and saw those sets too. I got two of the sets of three metallic polishes to split into crackers for DM and DSis. I think they'll really like them :)

Unexpected · 15/09/2013 21:49

Thanks HenriettaPye, now I WANT a Next duvet! I am about 20 miles from a Next outlet, never been before, wonder if I can justify a trip to Farnborough on the off-chance tomorrow? Hmm...

Eddas · 15/09/2013 22:00

I managed to get 2 of the Next duvet sets in the sale last year, wish i'd bought a couple extra now to stick on ebay WinkGrin

Littlemousewithcloggson · 15/09/2013 22:01

Have just bought a new robofish on eBay from a seller in hong kong for £2.38. No idea what it will be like but at that price thought it was worth a risk

HenriettaPye · 15/09/2013 22:10

Yes that's the same one on eBay! Was £6. Wish I had of looked for more now and put them on eBay!!

raisah · 15/09/2013 22:10

Multipacks of seasonal chocolates from Home Bargains. Cheaper to buy large wholesale boxes of selection boxes & split them amongst various people than to buy individual boxes from the supermarket.

www.homebargains.co.uk/category/125-food.aspx

CatAmongThePigeons · 15/09/2013 22:14

Littlemouse Could you let me know what they're like when you get them? DS1 wants some and that price sounds good!

The nearest next outlet to me is about 2 hours away, I've never been able to get a visit there in the years IivI've lived here. I The DC would love Christmas duvets!

iloveholidays · 15/09/2013 22:17

what are robo fish?

ProtectiveMother · 15/09/2013 22:18

I have just priced everything already bought for Ds (£90) and Dd (£60). I've got their birthdays around Christmas too but I think the above will be mainly for Christmas. A few more things to get, esp for Dd. Want to get a fleece sleepsuit for my big boy haha he really wants one! Does anyone know anywhere you can get them according to height rather than age online? Or should I just look for one in the shops? And I need a cotton towel dressing gown for Dd and probably a couple of nice fleeces that zip right up to the chin but other than that, I think I can rest easy til mid December now Smile Thanks for all the top tips!

JustasmallGless · 15/09/2013 22:32

Can highly recommend the paper jamz microphones.
The works and amazon both have them
I got my two them last year and they still play with them now. You can upload 3 songs onto them.
BF is in Nz and her Dd age 9 played with them when they were over so got one for her Xmas boc

EweHaveGoatToBeKiddin · 16/09/2013 06:27

Just had an email from Amazon. Up to 30%, 50% and 70% on selected toys.

davidtennantsmistress · 16/09/2013 06:32

Has anyone seen a gaming console of any sorts reasonably priced please, this year we are sticking to a strict £100 so I need to get as much as I can for that for ds1. Thanks

LoreleisSecret · 16/09/2013 06:49

Any cheap deals on peppa pig toys/play sets? Would be very grateful Smile

SpottyTeacakes · 16/09/2013 07:05

Pillow pets on zulily, some as cheap as £11.99 but not the hello kitty one dd wants Hmm anyone know if I might get it any cheaper? Seen cheaper on eBay but I think they're replicas from china!

ValiumQueen · 16/09/2013 07:09

Lorele there are some peppa things in Argos on the two for £20 deal. May be worth waiting for a 3 for 2 event. There are a couple of bits in my local stores clearance so worth checking online for yours.

LaTrucha · 16/09/2013 07:16

protectivemother - I would shop for the onesie in RL. I have looked at a couple this year whichhave been really thin with no real warmth in them at all. The next one for little ones was lovely and thick. I didn't check the older ones because they had hoods and I don't want that.
