Sixth thread Shock but it’s OK we are allowed to get excited about Christmas now as it’s September

I’ve been a bit sporadic with this OP in what has been selected for adding in or not as there are too many links to add them all in, hope I haven’t forgotten anything major. Please forgive the fact that so many sale and amazon products aren’t individually linked or are linked but price may since change by the time you click on it - so many of them are out of stock and amazon seem to change prices on an almost hourly basis (it feels like) on a number of items that were previously linked to. I haven’t checked all links to see if prices have altered since last thread so apologies if youg et very excited followed by disappointed. I will try to do better next time. As usual please tell me if any of these links/codes don’t work or if there’s anything particularly you want to be in the next OP (assuming there is another Wink ) how would I do any shopping without you now

Thanks for all your help in helping my christmas shopping in 2013 be once again bargainous Grin

OP posts:
Oreocrumbs · 15/09/2013 19:09

Thanks for the company link! A nice watch for DSD there!

Cor I don't think I've bought this many magazines in the last 10 years!

RhondaJean · 15/09/2013 19:16

The Lego soaps are lovely.

I need to sit and make a list tonight of what I still have to buy (and scare myself, still got dd1 2 and DH big presents to get, dd1 has a birthday 27 December too) and try not to buy anything extra now as I've got enough bits and bobs.

Unless its like only a couple of pounds- in which case it would be rude not to eh?

Oreocrumbs · 15/09/2013 19:25

I'm going to do the same tonight, I've got my big note taking pen out!

Just putting off facing it - I'm a bit worried that I have over done it again.

I was rooting about in the spare room earlier and found loads of smellies sets I bought in the boots 75% off sale in January. Loads of sanctuary, soap and glory and champneys stuff.... I'm incorrigible.

MooseyMoo · 15/09/2013 19:50

But you smell lovely oreo Grin

Just bought micro scooter from Jo Jo Maman Bebe with HZ92 (15% off £55 spend). With Quidco: free delivery and 5% CB

98percentchocolate · 15/09/2013 20:18

Thanks for all the great bargains. Bought DD her first duplo set today and she loves it. If anybody sees any other duplo sets for a good price please let me know!

babysantadue · 15/09/2013 20:21

Sorry cant see where the post is, but whoever asked about the baby born scotter from amazon, mine arrived last week and i was surprised how big it was. looks good. hope this helps

ilikesweetpeas · 15/09/2013 20:28

Has anyone seen any good deals on pillow pets, or can anyone advise me on which the genuine ones are ? Been looking on amazon and am confused about which are real pillows and which are just a cuddly toy if that makes sense? Thanks in advance...

MissBeehiving · 15/09/2013 20:38

Thanks for Paper Jamz link Smile my two both think they're Harry Styles Wink

supermariossister · 15/09/2013 20:39

home and bargains sell genuine pillow pets, I got one off eBay too which wasnt a genuine one and you could definately tell so be careful there. amazon ones were good, I think if its advertised as a pillow pet in the wording then it should be genuine

ProtectiveMother · 15/09/2013 20:45

Oh I'm pretty suspicious about those microphones/ singing things! And what is auto vibrato? Lol. I'd like to get my little girl a microphone but some of them are just echo ones aren't they? Suppose that's good enough for a littler one!

ProtectiveMother · 15/09/2013 20:46

Re: the Duplo query I don't think you can do better than the Duplo train in OP. for a boy OR a girl! :-)

Unexpected · 15/09/2013 20:48

Henrietta when you are next on here but not on your phone would you be able to link to the Christmas duvet from Next? I know the one you are talking about but I can't get it to come up on the Clearance site at all and DS2 would LOVE it!

TooWetToWoo · 15/09/2013 20:51

The Paper Jamz microphones are really good. Bought one last year for DS1s friends birthday and his mum said he absolutely loved it. Auto vibrato just means it adjusts your voice to do that sort of wobbly singing (hope that makes sense!)

attheendoftheday · 15/09/2013 20:51

I just succumbed to the innotab. You do realise I'm now shopping for dd1's birthday next year!

If anyone sees any good prices for the memory card, charger, other gumf to go with it, please let me know!

98percentchocolate · 15/09/2013 20:52

Have bought the train and am now eyeing up camel camel for the ariel under the sea duplo set. Thanks

TooWetToWoo · 15/09/2013 20:52

Unexpected I've tried searching for that duvet and it just says its no longer available online. It must just be in certain clearance stores.

LalaDipsey · 15/09/2013 20:55

Any good balance bike deals or recommendations? It's DTs birthday 20th December (they will be 2) and obviously Xmas as well but with 2 to buy for (plus dd) I need bargains but good ones :) thanks xxx

VoldemortsNipple · 15/09/2013 20:56

Thanks for the Company magazine link. DD is in y13 so has lots of friends turning 18. That watch will do nicely for one of her good friends. And the girls in work are going to be delighted with all the magazine's I'll be taking in.

Poundland bargains today included some CK eye shadows and some OPI crackle varnish. Does anybody know anything about those crackle varnishes. Do you have to have a special base coat and top layer? I was thinking of making them up into little sets but don't want to have to spend a small fortune paying out full price on things go with them.

Tk Maxx had some lovely Orla Kiely stationary in and some Nails Inc gift sets for whoever was looking for them.

Oh, and I also tried on the Joules wellies in John Lewis, they looked lovely and fitted well. Can't wait for them to arrive.

ProtectiveMother · 15/09/2013 20:56

Oh! There are some really great bargain gifts at the dot com gift shop including a Charlie & Lola hot water bottle which I thought was fab!!

sameoldIggi · 15/09/2013 20:58

Want a microphone but don't want to pay postage - any way round this?

Littlemousewithcloggson · 15/09/2013 21:11

M and s have some lovely advent gifts on 3 for 2 including an advent activity book with 48 activities for the countdown to Christmas. Also 24 fill your own advent crackers. Don't know if in store yet but def available online to order and collect. Nice wrapping paper too!

HenriettaPye · 15/09/2013 21:15

Hi unexpected, it's not online, we have a next clearance store about 20 miles away from us so they seem to have last years Christmas left overs!

Oreocrumbs · 15/09/2013 21:17

Well I have just spent the last 1.5hrs locating and taking making a list of all of the presents I have bought stockpiled. You will be pleased to know I have 30, yes 30 presents as yet unallocated.

  1. So it looks like I have done most of my shopping for the birthdays in 2014 Grin

(To be fair that number includes my present cupboard stock of items to regift/school fete etc).

I'm still in need of gifts for adult men, MIL and FIL and then it will just be the specific requests from teenage DSD - most likely not available anywhere at a bargain price!

Chocolateteabag · 15/09/2013 21:20

Reastie - first thank you for the threads Thanks

Personally I now don't look at the links to actual items in your OP's as assume they have already gone or sold out. But the links to the bargainous websites and cash back sites should still be on as always useful to remind me to go via Quidco or Topcashback
