Sixth thread Shock but it’s OK we are allowed to get excited about Christmas now as it’s September

I’ve been a bit sporadic with this OP in what has been selected for adding in or not as there are too many links to add them all in, hope I haven’t forgotten anything major. Please forgive the fact that so many sale and amazon products aren’t individually linked or are linked but price may since change by the time you click on it - so many of them are out of stock and amazon seem to change prices on an almost hourly basis (it feels like) on a number of items that were previously linked to. I haven’t checked all links to see if prices have altered since last thread so apologies if youg et very excited followed by disappointed. I will try to do better next time. As usual please tell me if any of these links/codes don’t work or if there’s anything particularly you want to be in the next OP (assuming there is another Wink ) how would I do any shopping without you now

Thanks for all your help in helping my christmas shopping in 2013 be once again bargainous Grin

ItsAllOverNowB · 15/09/2013 14:45

Thanks Slainte

ProtectiveMother · 15/09/2013 14:53

I daren't do any of the magazine offers as I will certainly forget to cancel them!

Re: the innotab, personally I wouldn't buy them for a child under 6 or 7 and won't even buy them for that age! ( I know I'm in the minority)

MissBeehiving · 15/09/2013 14:55

Thanks for the Aquadoodle link Smile - ordered for DS2

bymoonlight · 15/09/2013 15:03

I agree with ProtectiveMother, I bought an innotab for dd1 on her 5th birthday and ended up selling it on as it was too young for her.

This year she is 6 and she is getting a Kindle Fire for Christmas.

RhondaJean · 15/09/2013 15:16

Company mag looks good! Watch would be nice for dd1 .

£3 a bit steep though! Wink

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 15/09/2013 15:56

Just called in to Barker and Stonehouse in town - we get a VIP sale invitation every six months, having bought one thing there 6 years ago, so picked up two lovely heart shaped slate coasters as free gift for calling in. They will go with the Cath Kidston note set as present for a friend - sorted.

BlackStiltonBoots · 15/09/2013 16:12

TooWetToWoo I got them from here but they are back up to £4.95 now. It's worth having a look through the clearance section for bargains as they seem to change regularly. P&P is steep at nearly £5, but you get free delivery on orders over £25.

RhondaJean · 15/09/2013 16:41

Company mag ordered dd1 will like the black watch.

For £7 so far I have had 5 three month mag subscriptions, an elemis milk bath, a fat loss diet book, four tooth whitening toothpastes, a mural skincare set and now a nice watch. Very happy.

ProtectiveMother · 15/09/2013 17:06

Anybody know how M&S womens clothes fit? I am about to order a dress and unsure if I should order my size or bit bigger as I can sometimes be between sizes?

mumtoone1 · 15/09/2013 17:15

I'm a 12 in most shops but a 10 in m&s

bulletwithbutterflywings · 15/09/2013 17:16

I would go down a size in M&S :)

PoppyWearer · 15/09/2013 17:29

I always go up a size in PJs, for comfort...

ProtectiveMother · 15/09/2013 17:51

I measured myself and I seemed to be the bigger size so just ordered that one. Hope it fits!

HenriettaPye · 15/09/2013 17:57

Can't remember who, but whoever was looking for Christmas duvet covers, I got a gorgeous one today in the next clearance outlet store for only £6. Can't link because I'm on phone but if you google next Christmas countdown single duvet it should be the first one!

Also bought a Christmas jumper!! Last year I decided in December that I really wanted one but everywhere had sold out, so I seem them today in primark and bought one. Smile They had 3 different types, a red one with Christmas tree baubles on it and jingley bells (which would make my dog think I was a toy), one with a cat wearing a Santa hat,and the one I got, which is a big snowman with a sticky out carrot nose!! I LOVE it!!

Couldn't see any other Christmas stuff though, on the look out for a men's Christmas jumper for DH now Wink

supermariossister · 15/09/2013 18:04

i got some ninja turtle pjs for 2.49 in their clearance, asked my gparents to pick up a 7-8 though and they have bought 9-10 as they "looked small" so expectimgn them to be massive

Reastie · 15/09/2013 18:17

Just updating some of the OP for next thread. Can I just check - do people use/find it useful that I do links to the sites where it's just the homepage (like for linking when you can use a code)? I'll keep doing it if it's useful but otherwise won't bother.

I'm seriously tempted by those christmas pjs but I know 16-18 would be too big and I think 12 - 14 would be a bit tight

Toowet great company mag offer. and Grin to the comment about glamour magazine being full of brassieres whoever that was!

OP posts:
Reastie · 15/09/2013 18:17

Ohhh Henrietta I must check out Primark then as I'd fancy a christmas jumper too Blush

OP posts:
sameoldIggi · 15/09/2013 18:34

I have that duvet Henrietta, from last year - certainly wasn't £6 then! It is good quality and ds loved being told how close we were to Christmas each night.
