Sixth thread Shock but it’s OK we are allowed to get excited about Christmas now as it’s September

I’ve been a bit sporadic with this OP in what has been selected for adding in or not as there are too many links to add them all in, hope I haven’t forgotten anything major. Please forgive the fact that so many sale and amazon products aren’t individually linked or are linked but price may since change by the time you click on it - so many of them are out of stock and amazon seem to change prices on an almost hourly basis (it feels like) on a number of items that were previously linked to. I haven’t checked all links to see if prices have altered since last thread so apologies if youg et very excited followed by disappointed. I will try to do better next time. As usual please tell me if any of these links/codes don’t work or if there’s anything particularly you want to be in the next OP (assuming there is another Wink ) how would I do any shopping without you now

Thanks for all your help in helping my christmas shopping in 2013 be once again bargainous Grin

OP posts:
ShoopShoop · 15/09/2013 09:45

DD will be 2.5 at Christmas. Is that too young for an Innotab? Do I need to buy lots of stuff to go with it - like games and things? Or does it come fully loaded and ready to go? Confused

ipswichwitch · 15/09/2013 09:50

Was wondering that myself shoopshoop. DS will be almost 2.3 and is already really interested in my iPhone - it's only a matter of time til he manages to call Australia! I'm hoping to fob him off with an innotab if he's not too young for it

EweHaveGoatToBeKiddin · 15/09/2013 09:52

Thanks for the new Glamour deal, RhondaJean. You have a good eye for those subscriptions. It's something I would never have thought of before.

So far my mum's hamper is looking expensive amazing with the free Elemis and (soon to be delivered) free Murad stuff.

I can see my £1 for the women's fitness has been taken out so I'll be cancelling that tomorrow whhile munching on cake, and hopefully that mag will never soil my doormat again. Grin

Shorty1980 · 15/09/2013 09:54

Shoop my 3 year old has got a lot of use out of his innotab, he mainly plays with the stuff it comes with (art studio, book, penguin game) and I spent a fiver on a few peppa pig episodes which he watches repeatedly. He is smart but very uncoordinated (can't fight your genes) so I reckon an average 2.5 yr old should get on alright.

ShoopShoop · 15/09/2013 10:12

Thanks for the advice :) I've ordered one - I'm sure DD won't mind the blue one. For £20 I think it's worth a go......

Ledkr · 15/09/2013 10:15

Can't get the innotab to order. The screen just goes dark when I try to add to basket. Why is that?

Ledkr · 15/09/2013 10:16

Is the offer for the glamour mag different to the op link? Can anyone re link it please?

Shorty1980 · 15/09/2013 10:20

Shoop you will need a memory card (I got one for a few quid from eBay) and rechargeable batteries or a power cable (again I bought a compatible non branded one for under a fiver).

MissBeehiving · 15/09/2013 10:53

Just marking place again and Thanks for all the codes Smile

JustBecauseICan · 15/09/2013 11:00

What the feck is Glamour? It isn't full of women in brassieres is it? Confused

Are we all safe to cancel the thingy magazine now? The fitness jobbie?

Littlemissexpecting · 15/09/2013 11:07

Just wanted to say thank you to who ever mentioned the jumperoo on amazon Thanks
When ordering online don't forget to look at tesco as they still have the club card voucher exchange on so that effectively makes everything online half price! Not everything is included though, and depends how much vouchers you have

ProtectiveMother · 15/09/2013 11:11

Is the clubcard exchange still on? I was looking at single beds for my DDs birthday but looked like none were eligible for the clubcard 'boost'?

Thanks. Smile

SpottyTeacakes · 15/09/2013 11:17

They've stopped doing clubcard exchange it's all about the rubbish boost now, only certain things eligible.

ShoopShoop · 15/09/2013 11:19

Ledkr it took me a few attempts to order too. Don't know why I'm afraid. All sorted now though and my confirmation emails have come through

ShoopShoop · 15/09/2013 11:20

Thanks shorty - I'll have a look at eBay :)

PoopPoooDeDooo · 15/09/2013 12:47

Possibly a good one for foodies?

Jamie Oliver magazine-either Log on to jamieoliver.com/ihsc-trial and pick up the next 5 issues for just £9.95 – that's half price.

Alternatively, sign up for a year's worth of magazines and they'll send you a hardback copy of Save With Jamie (rrp £26), absolutely free.

With its mantra of 'shop smart, cook clever, waste less', Save With Jamie is perfect for everyone who is feeling the pinch and wants to waste less of their shopping – but still cook tasty, nutritious, inspiring meals.

Not only that, but by paying just £27.99 a year subscription, you'll save 30% on the cover price, too!

Find out more at jamiemagazine.com/ihsc-book

Thats cut and copied btw- I don't work for them Grin

mumtoone1 · 15/09/2013 13:07

Apologises if already mentioned but I was in B&M this morning and they had furbys for £39.99.

Seemed like a good price.

MissElodie · 15/09/2013 13:08

Thanks to all those posting the teacher/nursery workers suggestions. Those little houses are really cute mooseymoo I am not creative one little bit and so could probably even mess those up but I could always blame the DC on their help Grin

Yesterday I received an amazon delivery I forgot I had even ordered - oops! That 1-click ordering is dangerous - my credit card is not going to thank me!

PoppyWearer · 15/09/2013 13:28

Ledkr I just ordered (another Blush!) Innotab and it worked fine.

KillashandraRee · 15/09/2013 13:55

Innotab bought thanks Poppyw

ItsAllOverNowB · 15/09/2013 14:02

De-lurking here

I found this on amazon could somebody please advise me whether this is a good deal or not

www.amazon.co.uk/Baby-Born-Interactive-Star-Scooter/dp/B0085ID90M/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1379248143&sr=8-2&keywords=baby+born+interactive

Slainte · 15/09/2013 14:15

Here's the stats from camelcamelcamel ItsAll so it looks like it might be a good price:-

Current £9.99 Sep 07, 2013
Highest * £24.98 May 13, 2013
Lowest * £7.49 Sep 02, 2013
Average + £16.94 -

joymaker · 15/09/2013 14:16

Thinking of getting th Innotab can someone briefly tell me what the difference is between innotab 1 and 2?

And wasn't there a smyths free dellivery code floating about or has it expired? TIA

£Land had Miffy 2 dvd set and Disney Pixar Cars christmas mugs in store which I bought. They also had Sooty and Sweep dvds vol !,2 and 3 and Pingu dvds again.

BlackStiltonBoots · 15/09/2013 14:21

My 95p skylander PJs have arrived, DD2 very pleased with them! Although the shorts fell straight down when she tried them on Shock Grin luckily MIL is going to adjust them for her. DD2 has hardly taken the top off since it came yesterday!

I got some other pairs to put away for Christmas but am a bit worried about the erratic sizing- both my DDs are the same size, but DD1's moshi PJs in age 6-7 are a perfect fit, while DD2's skylander ones are 5-6 and enormous!

I also got some Squinkies from Home Bargains, the teapot dispenser things were £2.49 (I think, lost the receipt) and a pack with 12 Squinkies in was around £2 iirc.

TooWetToWoo · 15/09/2013 14:26

Where did you get those pyjamas from please BlackStiltonBoots?
