Sixth thread Shock but it’s OK we are allowed to get excited about Christmas now as it’s September

I’ve been a bit sporadic with this OP in what has been selected for adding in or not as there are too many links to add them all in, hope I haven’t forgotten anything major. Please forgive the fact that so many sale and amazon products aren’t individually linked or are linked but price may since change by the time you click on it - so many of them are out of stock and amazon seem to change prices on an almost hourly basis (it feels like) on a number of items that were previously linked to. I haven’t checked all links to see if prices have altered since last thread so apologies if youg et very excited followed by disappointed. I will try to do better next time. As usual please tell me if any of these links/codes don’t work or if there’s anything particularly you want to be in the next OP (assuming there is another Wink ) how would I do any shopping without you now

Thanks for all your help in helping my christmas shopping in 2013 be once again bargainous Grin

Has anyone bought a wooden shop in the past for their DCs? I would like to get one (bargain if possible?) for mine this year - age 3 and 5 - and would appreciate any advice. Thanks!

Wondering about this one from Asda - £50 and was reduced to £25 last year but then went out of stock straight away.
Asda wooden shop

Or this Pintoy one - slightly larger but £79

AllThatGlistens · 12/09/2013 14:48

Thanks so much for that Theslug! Just had the creaky book set and the smurfs one too, £4 total and free delivery Flowers

SpottyTeacakes · 12/09/2013 14:49

Dd will be 3.5 at Christmas. I have got her:

Vtech robot
New jumper
Knickers
Pjs
Books, books and more books
Hello kitty scooter
Hobby horse
Hello kitty slinky
Peppa pig drawing set
More books
Christmas DVD

I think that's it!

Rubybrazilianwax · 12/09/2013 14:51

If anyone's dc like Minecraft, this one on eBay is £40, the seller seems to have a few new sets at this price. They are£50 on amazon or anywhere else

NeverQuiteSure · 12/09/2013 14:52

Ilove - definitely take the time to browse through all the books on Bargain Booktime.

I linked to a Christmas pop up book by the brilliant Robert Sabuda for £5, another very lovely Christmas pop up for £4 and a box set of 5 illustrated fairytales for older children for £7. I'm on my phone and supposedly preparing dinner now but joymaker's post gives the page numbers where my links are. I included extra links to better photos of each book as the Bargain Booktime site really doesn't do any of the books any justice.

Jojay · 12/09/2013 14:53

Anyone seen any cheap Xmas themed mugs, preferably child sized? We need a batch to fill with hot choc sets to sell at our Xmas fair.

BumpKitty · 12/09/2013 15:04

Sylvanian families pig triplets £5.22 here though the RRP is very suspicious!

RhondaJean · 12/09/2013 15:15

Do we have any live codes for the book people to go with the sale? < hopeful>

JustBecauseICan · 12/09/2013 15:22

I was just looking for BP codes Rhonda- are the ones in the OP not working? Have just filled seven trollies never mind a basket.....will go and have a google.

MooseyMoo · 12/09/2013 15:24

Well, blow me down. I walked past Whistlefish Gallery in Padstow today. Good job I hadn't order through their website yet for Christmas cards. 15 cards for £6. Saved on postage Grin

JustBecauseICan · 12/09/2013 15:26

Rhonda- the 15% off £35 is still valid, until Sunday.

bymoonlight · 12/09/2013 15:32

Codes for book people - 'Nback' gives 10% off. 'Cheers' gives free delivery but can only be used once per account.

WorkingtoohardMama · 12/09/2013 15:32

Protectivemother My dd will be 3.10 at Christmas and ds 7 and a half, we're getting them a bike each and disney infinity between them - not sure whether dd will get a look in with it to be honest, but there's nothing else she needs!

BuskersCat · 12/09/2013 15:39

ProtectiveMother Dd is 3.6 and is getting

a DSi
'Rosebud' hospital
Books
Puzzles

And whatever else takes my fancy

JustBecauseICan · 12/09/2013 15:45

ooooh, an Albelli photo update.....I have just received an email offer for a photobook as big as you like for £23. As many as 100+ pages for the same price as the standard £23 one. (saving of £70)

It's a personal code for l'il ol' me only as I used the GIFT code in the OP for a free book, so if anyone is thinking of using that one, then the further offers come chugging along. Definitely the best quality photo gifts I've ever had. (have now got 10 days to make a 100+ page book....I may be some time Grin) And they accept paypal so it's not even real money!

SpottyTeacakes · 12/09/2013 15:49

Did anyone order the retro sweets from groupon? I ordered mine over a week ago and they're all 'oh can you just wait until the end of the week' etc etc it's what we always did at work when we were out of stock...

RhondaJean · 12/09/2013 15:53

Fab thanks I've lost all track of bp and what is and isn't live.

Re equestria dolls - I'm not sure myself but dd2 thinks they are great :-S

grew · 12/09/2013 15:55

Thank you for the book people sale update and discount codes what a great offer

toisa · 12/09/2013 15:58

I've now read about so many of you receiving your charlie and choc factory pop up book that I've decided I want one!! Where and how much please?

NeverQuiteSure · 12/09/2013 16:04

Pop up Charlie and the Chocolate Factory link for toisa

They are £3.99 plus £2 postage (maybe more on postage if you are not mainland as it asks for postcode before confirming cost)

craftynclothy · 12/09/2013 16:14

NewShoesTwoShoes Dd2 got that Asda shop for Xmas last year. She was 3 then and she played with it loads (as did her sister who was 5). We thought it was great but the till that comes with it is a bit pants - it's basically a wooden one that doesn't really do much, just has a drawer to open. She also got a fancy till from ELC that scans shopping which she uses with the shop and a plastic shopping basket of plastic fruit/tins went down really well with it.

CelticPromise · 12/09/2013 16:20

TheSlug I bought that set of 10 too, looks lovely. I also bought the Meg Rosoff set, brilliant present for teens. My first Christmas shopping!

nickdrakeslovechild · 12/09/2013 16:28

I have just rung up the book people as the 15 collection of Lynley Dodd Hairy Maclary books are showing as out of stock. They are in stock, but not on the website, so ordered over the phone and used cheers (again) and they let me put it through. Been waiting for these to get back in stock for ages. Hairy Maclary

WorkingtoohardMama · 12/09/2013 16:38

Just ordered lots of books from bargain booktime, spent £20 so got free delivery!

Ordered 4 how to draw books - 2 dinosaurs and 2 superheroes, thought one of each book and some pencils would make a nice present for ds's (7) friends.

Looking forward to getting my order!

Also collected the designabear from Argos and they're lovely.

My offering is www.giftarama-design.co.uk/ - they do mugs with your childrens drawing on for £9 - not exactly a bargain, but a lovely present.

NeverQuiteSure · 12/09/2013 16:42

Oh poo. I didn't notice the free delivery over £20 on Bargain Booktime and spent just under £19 then paid £2 for delivery. Doh! I could have bought an extra book for that.
