girlwiththeyellowhats do we have any news yet?

Fifth thread already, how did that happen?! I?ve booked our panto tickets now so am feeling very festive Grin . Tips I learnt from the last thread number 24837 - wrap a huge cardboard box in christmas gift wrap to put all the rubbish on christmas day in rather than a bin bag so you don?t get a black plastic sack in all of the photos

Please forgive the fact that so many sale and amazon products aren?t individually linked or are linked but price may since change by the time you click on it - so many of them are out of stock and amazon seem to change prices on an almost hourly basis (it feels like) on a number of items that were previously linked to. As usual please tell me if any of these links/codes don?t work or if there?s anything particularly you want to be in the next OP (assuming there is another Wink ) how would I do any shopping without you now

Thanks for all your help in helping my christmas shopping in 2013 be once again bargainous Grin

shoppingbagsundereyes · 08/09/2013 13:02

I'm looking for bargain Zelfs. They are freaky little things like the trolls from the 70's. dd is desperate for some

Reastie · 08/09/2013 13:08

Iloveholidays I'm the same as you. DD has far too many things especially as I started putting things to one side for this year before last christmas Blush .

bymoonlight · 08/09/2013 13:12

I was looking for a teaching watch for dd1 and found this on amazon

It seems a good discount and they have different colours. I ordered a purple on for dd1' stocking.

SurvivalOfTheUnfittest · 08/09/2013 13:15

Bra thanks for Darth Mail tip. I have reserved one for ds1. Now need to persuade someone to give it to him.

SurvivalOfTheUnfittest · 08/09/2013 13:24

Sorry, predictive text.. Bea!

Snowgirl1 · 08/09/2013 13:48

Been away for a week and you're already three-quarters of the way through the next thread. Marking my place so I can see what bargains I've missed Smile

iloveholidays · 08/09/2013 13:53

Reastie I think I've probably bought about the right amount for Christmas, what concerns me is that we still have over 3 months to go so no doubt more will pop up!!! Grin

I must not buy anymore books though, I've already decided to pull a few out to give as presents. We're staying at home this year for the first year which I can't wait and means I can do things exactly how I'd like including spreading out the gifts a bit. Planning to keep back a book for all of us til late afternoon, including DP who I might get a recipe book for.

Katieweasel · 08/09/2013 14:16

Ooh saw some Zelfs in Tesco yesterday. Only noticed them because a little girl had them spread across the floor trying to choose the one she wanted! I'd never heard of them before. Think they were £6. No idea if that is cheap or not?

SpottyTeacakes · 08/09/2013 14:18

I'm the same ilove have definitely got dd enough but I won't be able to resist things for another three months!

ots · 08/09/2013 14:26

Thanks Vee for the Kobo, DH is buying me one for my birthday :)

WaitMonkey · 08/09/2013 14:38

I've just got everything out, so I can start making lists. I seem to have an awful lot of things and I think I've enough book's to stock an entire shop. Blush
I've bought for all family and friends children now, and for birthdays next year. Still got main gifts to get for my dc. So now I'm after adult gifts.

WaitMonkey · 08/09/2013 14:39

I get really annoyed with strike through fail. Angry

iloveholidays · 08/09/2013 14:59

waitmonkey know what you mean about books! Grin I still need to sort niece aged 7, nephews aged 3 and 6. then parents, sisters and brother in laws but we tend to ask what each other want. luckily DP sorts his side of the family but have 5 nephews aged 3 to 10 and 2 nieces aged 6 and 7. can't remember seeing much for boys?

JustasmallGless · 08/09/2013 15:46

I have just been buying stuff and putting it away. Its in the garage and DH has found it. I realised I have double bought for my friends wee boy already so I need to have a proper look through everything.

Books are always good for presents though. Never known a mum yet who pulled her face at her child getting a book. Especially as our school seems to do the invite the whole class thing!

Boys - the lego books always go down well. DS has the Lego Batman, Harry Potter and Star Wars character encyclopaedia as well as Disney cars

Thanks the the link to Magpie btw. Although not for Xmas my DSIS and I are clubbing together for my grannys birthday in November to get her some of the bird set which she will love

IHeartIona · 08/09/2013 16:40

Have been lurking on here, thanks for all the bargains (no large bags in my cupboards honest...). My local co-op has chocolate Elf toolkits for a pound today, will still be in date at Christmas. They had four chocolate tools in them and could be good for stockings or CE hampers.

FriskyHenderson · 08/09/2013 16:50

Just seen this on hot ukdeals..

www.hotukdeals.com/deals/2-body-mists-0-98-delivered-h-m-freesia-lychee-lilly-valley-heliotrope-vanilla-1651742

They are £2.99 each but if you add 2 and a higher price item then use codes (1304) for £5 off as well as (0769) for free delivery and then remove the higher price item the total becomes £0.98

There are 3 scents : Freesia & Lychee, Lilly of the Valley and Heliotrope & Vanilla.

I never used them before but worth a try for a quid
