So the spreadsheets have been completed, the matches have gone out, all is done. Gin

We're all waiting with bated breath. If you're a recipient and you'd like to pop back on here when your gift arrives to thank your donor then do remember to look out for your MN code which will have been included in the address on the packaging and include it in your post. The person who sent the gift will then be able to know it's you.

If anyone has any questions about anything to do with the Mumsnet Christmas Appeal then do please email [email protected].

Ho Ho Ho!

To sender of gifts for MN097:
Thank you for the package - it arrived today.

The contents had obviously been chosen -and wrapped- with care; very kind of you.
The clothes for DS will be great for spring and DD is wearing the cardigan from hers now (she's rather dinky so sleeves folded up... but she couldn't wait and won't let me take it off...!)
I am crazily pleased about the thought of making paper chains with DS with the set - and I am going to try and get the colouring pages photocopied so they can go their hardest over Christmas (and I can save the master copies for next year, ha ha, thrifty).
All in all 2012 has been very rather rubbish and we have had a few of months of poorliness too - so your thoughtful parcel was much appreciated.
Thank you again - and a very Happy Christmas to you & yours too [ grin ] Grin the card will go up with the others too Thanks Thanks

Oh and a thank you too, to the person who nominated me. That, in itself, was lovely! I was Shock Blush and Grin all at once!

I sent my parcel off today after a very fun festive day out shopping. I enjoyed choosing the gifts and have definitely got a fuzzy feeling now Smile

I really hope I've got it right. I'm a bit nervous!

But in my ==overexcitement-- enthusiasm, I've made a bit of a schoolgirl error, and signed my xmas cards from Fillybuster Blush

Sorry!! I hope whoever receives the parcels doesn't mind too much?

Hope this is ok to post here,
I was nominated and had a lovely email from MNHQ asking for more details, while I give my heartfelt thanks to who ever nominated me I hope you will understand that I felt there were more deserving people then I and so I replied to MNHQ saying just that.

I'm a bit worried. I had a gift to donate but handed it into our local charity shop instead. Then I got a person to send gifts to but am a bit skint now. I hope a small gift is OK. frets

I did that too MrsDeVere ! It does feel a bit stalkerish but I didn't want to get a voucher that wouldn't have been any good.

Some people were a bit bashful, so we sat on them until they coughed up their details.

One or two couldn't be persuaded, though. However hard we tried.

I was a stubborn one :o

I would also like to thank whoever nominated me but it would have been wholly inappropriate for me to cough up my details :)

Demented
I was really disorganised this year, and didn't get around to offering to send a gift. If MNHQ are ok with you sending the details, I would be glad to send an extra present to your recipient.

But don't feel bad about sending a small thing - it is the thought that counts.
