So the spreadsheets have been completed, the matches have gone out, all is done.

We're all waiting with bated breath. If you're a recipient and you'd like to pop back on here when your gift arrives to thank your donor then do remember to look out for your MN code which will have been included in the address on the packaging and include it in your post. The person who sent the gift will then be able to know it's you.

Are we meant to wrap the presents up ready to open at Christmas, or leave them so the MNer of the house can see what they are?

Sorry for all the q's, it's the first year I've taken part so want to get it right.

The details of the donee I have been given don't seem to be compatible with what I said I would donate unless they want an entire family on a massive sugar rush

I'll need to think of something to add in.

I'm very and impressed by al these people who've already got and posted their present.

Thank you so much to the very generous MumsNetter who sent me not one but two very generous gift vouchers and a gorgeous box of chocolates...so promptly posted that they arrived on the 1st of December and made me feel all Christmassy while I was putting up the decs!

Dear Worra Have name-changed as am not sure of the etiquette but just wanted to say I am so glad the parcel arrived OK and had the desired effect. Was a bit worried because other Secret Santas seemed to be putting in so much more thought and effort and vouchers seemed a bit of a cop-out but I wanted to make sure you could get something that would be really wanted. Hope you have a lovely Christmas - if you were nominated for being an all-round good-egg then thanks for contributing so positively to Mumsnet and if it was because you have had a tough year, then I am glad to have spread a little Christmas cheer in your direction.

I have sent mine today but the lady in the post office was very stern with me as for the country it is going to I apparently had to put my full name and address on it. I said no no no this has to be anonymous and just put my house number & postcode. She tore the label up and insisted ... I'm sorry Santa

MN140, so sorry, I missed your parcel's delivery and have only just picked it up! Thank you so much for DD's present, it's a toy she hasn't got and one I had myself as a child so always wanted to get her one . I'm really looking forward to giving it to her on xmas day!
