A parcel from a very generous Santa has arrived: a wonderful Playmobil advent calendar to get our family in the mood for Christmas. I think I'm probably more excited about it than my boys .

Many thanks again to my Secret Santas.

The Thorntons were unpacked yesterday and devoured tasted, DD loved her doodle beads, and DS was delighted with the car.

I have hidden both the Thorntons and the handmade cranberry and orange chocolate from the kids :)

Thank you for the luscious coloured jumpers, the lovely smellies (no one ever buys me smellies anymore) the voucher, and the very pretty necklace.

What a lovely surprise it was to open the parcels this morning.

Merry Christmas everyone.....thanks to the lovely secret Santas and to the nominaters.

I have the most beautiful smellies They are all lined up in my bathroom and they smell amazing....my biscuits (in a beautiful butterfly tin) are hidden away for later. My son loves his present - according to him everything is perfect for his graphics work at school. My gift card has given us extra gifts and great joy.

awwww thank you SecretSanta 8990 so very much. I love Milk Tray and it always reminds me of childhood adverts (All because the Lady loves.....) The biscuits will go very nicely with my rather essential coffee in a few minutes. I will be very nice and share them with dd (and the chocolates too) And the voucher - so very very generous of you, I rarely spend money on myself and I am going to take some time to choose something carefully.

Your presents were opened this morning and the whole family are so delighted with their many, many gifts.

I loved, loved loved all my presents. It was reminiscent of the Christmases from my Mum and that touched my heart. I feel so loved today.

Just wanted to let you know that the boys loved your gifts so much so that they wanted to play with the train set rather than go outside with their new bikes
I've been doing a bit of tidying up and ds2 won't let me put Noah's Ark in his bedroom, he is sitting in front of the telly gripping on to it for dear life!
Thank you again for your wonderful gifts, your kindness, time and generosity really do mean so much to us.

GentleOtter I am so glad that you all liked your gifts, and glad that they reminded you of your Mum. I lost my Mum just after Xmas last year, so your comment really touched me. AmazedbyMNers - I've just seen your message. I'm so glad your DS liked his present - I asked someone with a little brother the same age for suggestions of what he would really like for Christmas! I was worried I shouldn't have wrapped it in case you wanted to change it so I'm glad it's ok. You and he are very welcome.

have forgotten my reference number, but my giver has already spoken to me on this thread. ds1 loved the signed pic of matt smith, and ds2 loved his squishy adipose (although dd2 is frightened of them), dd1 adored her hello kitty teddy, she got 2 more yesterday and has all three and the one she already had now proudly displayed on her bed, and dd2 loved her windup dinosaur, you must know her as i got her the exact same one so she has spent most of the time playing families with them both and making them fight. , thank you so so much xxxxxxxxx
