I received another parcel today, and cannot tell you how utterly chuffed I am. These past 6 months have been really trying (although I have not posted on MN about what has been going on) and today had been absolutely brilliant. Good news from DH, good news from DD's school and I came home to find a pretty pink parcel waiting for me.

Baroque your messages have really made Christmas start for me and I am so glad you are pleased. Based on what you say I am sure you and the family will like the book and I can recommend others by the same author, who is one of my favourites - come back after Christmas and tell me what you think!

Did everyone nominated get something? Only I nominated someone and can't see her....

Everyone nominated got matched, a few declined gifts, a few didn't respond to our mails and PM's but the vast majority accepted and were matched.

Thanks all for making this what it is. The emails, PM's and posts blow me away some days. There are some truly wonderful people out there.

A red and white wrapped gift just arrived, I am leaving it until Christmas Day to unwrap but would like to say a huge thank you to whoever sent it. I started the day with a horrible phone call about one of the boys struggling (there is a chance all 4 will be diagnosed with something by this time next year) and ended it with a smile and a gift, thank you so much X

I'm so very glad that your parcel got there in time for Christmas in one piece. I do hope that you like it - whatever I sent could never be enough for the wonderful advice and sensible but kind words that you often have for people on here. I am only sorry that I could not send more. I suspected that it was you from the address, but couldn't be sure as I know there are other MNers over there too.

I did consider posting this under my usual MN name, but seeing as it's Secret Santa I have decided to remain (I think!) a secret.

Thank you so much to Secret Santa 7869. I cried when I saw the HUGE silver box that it would have made my Christmas had it just been filled with foam.

My children will LOVE the gifts inside and now have a definate PILE of presents when I worried they'd be disappointed this year due to our lack of resources both financial, time and energy-wise. This is a year I am not sad to see the back of and whoever you are I wish you and the person who nominated me a great Christmas and Happy New Year.

And thank you too to Santa 1369 for the gorgeous handmade bib. With the termoil of the year I haven't given this growing baby much thought and have felt guilty about it. It's amazing that a stranger cared enough to give him/her a little bit of status. Thank you.

Absolutely wonderful! Thank you soooo much! It totally made my Christmas. I'm so looking foward to opening the pressies with the boys on Christmas day, I've put the voucher safe for the sales, the candle holder is filled with a christmassy candle and the pot pourri is in a dish.
