I have asked in Site Stuff where to put this with no reply, so if it's wrong can you move MN please? Thanks.

Yesterday I received a gorgeous pack of coasters that we can put pictures in, and a box from Amazon with toys including a Rubiks magic puzzle for my ds's.

I want to say a huge thank you to whichever person sent them. They are perfect and the feeling someone cares enough to have nominated and / or bought for us makes a difference. Two weeks ago we thought we were about to become homeless after a bloody rough year and although that has passed we're still feeling very shaken and it's so good to have some light out there. Christmas stands between now and our ds4 being seen at the Paediatrician's request (for those who don't know ds1 has asd, ds2 dyspraxia and ADD, ds3 asd) and this has given me the Christmas spirit I was missing.

Thank you, I wish you all a most wonderful of festive seasons.

Santa 15D 16D

(I seem to have had two parcels, I hope that someone else hasn't missed out because of me! If MNHQ finds that they have, please let me know and I can forward one set of gifts on before they get used)

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the amazingly generous presents you both sent. I am touched beyond belief. DP also can't believe, and properly shed a tear at the perfect and thoughtful presents for DS and me.

We've had a really tough autumn, with one thing and another, and this really has made the most incredible different to our Christmas Day.

Thank you again!

Oh gosh, I've just seen the messages from Serenity asking if package 15D arrived. I'm so sorry, I literally haven't been on MN during December because I've been so stupidly busy. I put the gorgeous presents under the tree and never even thought to confirm their arrival. I feel absolutely awful, and I hope you see this message saying how grateful we are. Blush

BaroqinAroundTheChristmasTree · 25/12/2010 11:50

Just another thank you to my SS's 76D and 42D (I think it was) for the presents for me.

Champagne Truffles and Perfume by far the best highlights - but the other stuff gorgeous too (I've just never had Champagne Truffles before - and the last perfume I had bought for me was Body Shop foul smelling stuff that I had in my teens)

DanceInTheDark · 25/12/2010 12:55

60D Do you know me in RL?Shock DS1 is over the moon with the Lego Atlantis stuff, DS2 loves his Playmobil and DS3 has played with his peppa pig car so much that i have temporarily removed it because the tune is driving me batty Grin

Just taking a quick minute away from the mayhem to wish you all a very Merry Christmas.

Xmas Grin
IAmReallyFabNow · 25/12/2010 20:12

Merry Christmas to you too! Xmas Grin.

MmeLindt · 25/12/2010 20:35

Merry Christmas, Rebecca. Thank you for all your hard work for the Secret Santa.

Merry Christmas, everyone.

BaroqinAroundTheChristmasTree · 26/12/2010 11:53

I know this is "the" thank you thread - but just want to link to \link{http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/Christmas/1111610-I-know-Christmas-is-nearly-over-now-but-to-MNHQ-Nominators-and-Donaters-especially-76D-42D-and-43D\this one too}

I know I've posted loads of times on this thread, but (despite being English born and bred) expressing myself in words has never been my forte - so I did this to say thank you Xmas Smile (especially to my nominator and santa's - but to ALL those involved.

For us it made Christmas better, for some nominees it will have made Christmas happen. But I want to say from every single nominee - thank you.

Flame · 26/12/2010 11:56

My DC have asked me to come on and tell "internet Santa" just how pleased they are with their presents and that they want to say thank you.

xx

TheMonster · 26/12/2010 12:37

Hopefully, you are welcome Smile

TrinityMotherOfRhinos · 26/12/2010 13:38

Santa92D · 26/12/2010 15:42

Dear SaltySeaDog - thanks for the reply on behalf of your friend.

Was too busy cooking, drinking, eating and opening presents yesterday to get onto MN.

Hope you all had a merry Xmas and look forward to a great New Year too.

Best wishes,

Santa92D

LilRedWG · 26/12/2010 18:20

Another thank you to 48D! DD loved her books yesterday and DH has got photos of her hugging the Nemo one.

I hope that you had a lovely day. :)

secretsanta76D · 26/12/2010 21:28

Baroqin
Thanks for your message on the other thread, it was so lovely seeing your boys with the gifts, I am really touched you went to so much trouble to create it.
Reading back through this thread I think Knotty summed it up perfectly for me....

*It is a wonderful thing this Santa business. It totally dispells the idea that Mumsnet is no more than words on a screen and shatters the notion of the pit of vipers. Since being matched with you, not a day has passed when I haven't thought of you and your family. Your posts shine with warmth, humour and love for your family. You are a remarkable woman. For me, it has been more than sending a little something: you have made me really think about what Christmas should be.

So I thank you too, and will raise a glass to you and yours on Christmas Day. Much love to you all*

HowsTheSerenity · 26/12/2010 23:06

Hopefully : I was getting worried as I had not seen anything about the parcel being received. I am now in Australia and was hoping you would get it before CHristmas Day. I do hope they presents were enjoyed.
Merry Christmas to you all!!

simpson · 27/12/2010 18:10

Another thanks to 29D

Thanbks for my pressies which were lovely Grin

Voucher was most appreciated.

I feel very spoilt Grin

JaquelinehydeAllThePresents · 27/12/2010 20:45

I have made a mess of things and lost the envelope that had my code on it.

I hope that this makes sense to someone...

I recieved, just a few days before Christmas, a lovely card with a Sainsbury gift card in it. I am truely shocked and amazed at the generosity of this person and I am sorry I haven't thanked you sooner but things have been frantic here.

I believe my SS is from London as the Sainsbury the gift card was puchased at was in London but I don't want to say anymore in case my sender doesn't want to be outed. You popped the orginal reciept in with the card too just incase there were any problems with the card at the tills.

I shall check in over the next week and if you don't see this I shall ask Rebecca to pass on my message.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Xmas Grin

I really hope you see this as I want you to know that you made a real difference to our Christmas, it felt special and that is down to you...Thank You so very much.

DebbieSSfromNB · 28/12/2010 09:57

oo oooo me me !!! That's me Jaquelinehyde!!! Oh I am SO glad you posted!! I was worried that it had been lost in the post as I sent it ages ago.

I hope you didn't think I was being lazy/impersonal getting a voucher - I really did think long and hard about what to send but didn't want to get it wrong - I am rubbish at picking things for other people. I hope you enjoyed spending it and brought some nice things.

I do hope that getting to a Sainsburys wasn't too much of a pain - I had originally wanted to get you a Tesco's voucher because I looked it up and there was one fairly close to you but I went to three stores and they either didn't have the cards or their machines could activate the cards !

Anyway I am rambling ... Thank you again for posting you have made MY Christmas ...and Happy new year to you and your family.

Debbie

JaquelinehydeAllThePresents · 28/12/2010 17:18

Debbie it was the best thing ever, we got the bus to Sainsbury and had a lovely time grabbing all those little bits that make Christmas so special.

A million thank yous.

bellavita · 28/12/2010 17:20

Hello lovely girl x

JaquelinehydeAllThePresents · 28/12/2010 17:32

Bella my love I am just on my way over Xmas Grin

Hopefully · 28/12/2010 19:53

So glad my secret santas have seen my thank yous! As well as loving the gifts for me, I can't tell you how perfect the gifts for DS were - he has not stopped playing with them all, and is determinedly using his new mug (first open topped one!) at every meal. I'm so impressed with how age appropriate the gifts were too! I'm sure I'd be rubbish at choosing something for other children.

It looks like we should (fingers crossed) be in a better position next winter, and I'm determined to try to be a secret santa gift giver after the generosity shown to us this year by my lovely secret santas.

BibiBelle · 28/12/2010 20:12

It's been a long time since I've felt 'spoilt' at Christmas and this year I feel truely blessed AND spoilt Xmas Blush The girls had a great Christmas thanks for the Amazon vouchers/books/beads and I've got a Debenhams voucher with my name on it as well as some luch Green and Black's chocccies. Thank you so much to my Secret Santas AND to MN for all the hard work that must go into this as well.

SooooBehind · 30/12/2010 23:46

Well, what a surprise that I had in the post today!

A Boots voucher from 66, with instructions that it should be used to treat me as well as the DCs. Grin

Thank you so much 66, I'm just shocked (in a good way) at people's generosity and thoughtfulness.

I hope you've enjoyed a fabulous Christmas, and can have a smashing New Year.

Cheers.
