Yesterday I received a gorgeous pack of coasters that we can put pictures in, and a box from Amazon with toys including a Rubiks magic puzzle for my ds's.

I want to say a huge thank you to whichever person sent them. They are perfect and the feeling someone cares enough to have nominated and / or bought for us makes a difference. Two weeks ago we thought we were about to become homeless after a bloody rough year and although that has passed we're still feeling very shaken and it's so good to have some light out there. Christmas stands between now and our ds4 being seen at the Paediatrician's request (for those who don't know ds1 has asd, ds2 dyspraxia and ADD, ds3 asd) and this has given me the Christmas spirit I was missing.

Baroqin, sorry I haven't come back on this thread, namechanged back to my usual one and was always in too much of a rush to come back again. I was kidding about using the Boots voucher for yourself, of course you should use it for whatever you wish but actually I think there couldn't be anything more "you" than having photos from when your kids are young. I waste hours in front of the PC on Mumsnet staring at photos on the screensaver from when my boys were young. I'm so happy the presents were good for your boys, I have similar ages boys, so asked to be matched with someone with boys as I have a vague idea how they function! I hope you and your family have a lovely, lovely Christmas together!

I confess now I can't remember what came in which parcel but it's all wrapped up. With money from my pre-planned Christmas budget I bought myself some "posh" wrapping paper for my presents for the DS's, and used all the wonderful wrapping paper from 2 of my Santas to wrap a huge pile of extra presents. (This is a record for me - usually I'm wrapping their little piles of presents between services on Christmas eve - but I had to start earlier this year )

I am so excited about tomorrow morning - their little (well not so little actually these days.......DS2 has just moaned at DS3 that he's wearing his top ) faces tomorrow will be amazing.

The 3 pop up decorations that one of you sent are hanging up at either end of the mantle piece, and in the middle.

Sorry you were out - the bag of stuff onthe porch are just some things I hope your DS' can use. The real gift was posted through the door - just hope it was safe and you got it OK.

Just sat here looking at my DS4's pile of gifts To my two secret Santas I just want to say that you have shown my Tom the true meaning of Christmas. He will be beyond excited tomorrow morning - even for a 13 year old He says that we have to buy one small gift every month next year and he is anxious for us to become Secret Santas. I miss my two sons who are no longer physically here...most Christmas times have been really hard work, but this year has been so different thanks to MN.

The true meaning of Christmas is friendship and love. Thank you to MN for organising this and to the people who have given gifts and nominated.

I just want to echo similar to shabba - I knew looking through the 3 boxes of gifts just how generous other people were. And wrapping them the other night.

But I have just put all of the DS's presents together in front of the tree and, well, it's just mind blowing, like Shabba - my DS's faces tomorrow will be x100.

This will be like a Christmas come true for them and I hope as they keep coming arcross more and more gifts under there from "MN Secret Santa" that they will realise just how spoilt they've been by people that don't even know them.
