Hi,

I created a new thread as the old one is reaching its limit.

OP posts:

AmyMoody I'm so pleased to hear this as read on another thread your daughter is diabetic. My sister is type 1 since age 5, now is 35, married with 6 year old twin girls, 2 year old boy & a good job wfh as a copy editor. She had DLA when we were kids due to her needs and my folks did not remotely need the money, so I was hoping your daughter would get award. I hope my sis being ok in life helps you feel positive about future...lots of advances being made & new research being funded since my sis was young.

Hi everyone has anyone received this text before and have been awarded??

We are still looking at your DLA1 Child claim. When a decision is made we will confirm it in writing. There is no need to contact us about it.

Hi, I sent my form and it was marked received on 28th October which is 13 weeks today. Is anyone still waiting!? I was told it would go to a decision maker at 13 weeks so I’m crossing my fingers. I’m doubting whether I’ll get it - my son has ADHD and can be hard work but im
worried I’ve not expressed it clearly enough in the application

Keepgoing88 · 27/01/2023 21:03

I got this I think it’s fairly standard

Hi, Sorry to jump on this thread.

I sent my claim pack for my child at the end of Feb. Should I have received a letter / text by now to say they have received it?

Emmamarie00 · 22/05/2023 16:43
