Heya, been following all these threads, thanks for all the info and updates guys!

My scan date was 12th August - anyone got any updates and is it worth calling tomorrow? I’ve got five kids under 6 now and it’s chaos during working hours in this house as you can imagine so the thought of being on hold for ages and not being able to get anything out of it triggers my anxiety lol it happened to me once (45mins on hold then it cut off).

I’m not worried too much about how long it is taking as I’ve seen it’s the case for everyone so I don’t want to stress over what I can’t control (I really don’t think people should be emailing MPs to get ahead - it’s not fair for everyone whose been waiting for ages that may not have access/ability to be doing so as well). I know people are struggling but we all are (in different ways, of course) and if you’ve waited this long, maybe it won’t be much longer, hopefully!

I’m just worried that the response will be a no, as we all probably are. Should I have received a text/letter/call yet (apart from the initial confirmation and the ‘sorry we haven’t made a decision yet’ ones)? Also, anyone who’s recently received a text - does it say what the decision is or just state that they’ve made one?

Thank you and sorry for the long winded message!

Does anyone know how much the disabled child element is per week for tax credits? I thought it was around £95 for HRC but they are only paying £760 for my daughter as a payment to cover from 19th July to present date which seems a lot lower than the entitlement?

Momto3smalls · 16/11/2022 09:26

Just to update everyone I was awarded HRC and LRM backdated to the 3/8/22 ! Scan date 11/8
Keep hope everyone hang in there ! Xx

Shellbel10 · 16/11/2022 09:45

Emmamorg · 16/11/2022 09:50

Emmamorg · 16/11/2022 13:19

@Alilly1991 great news it's really hard when they are younger great to see you got a good outcome x

dandymum · 16/11/2022 13:34

@Alilly1991 what did you send with yours? I sent diagnosis, nursery support plan and statement from hv?

Meli3 · 16/11/2022 14:23

23rd August for me good luck everyone hopefully not much longer now x

MissEllie2 · 16/11/2022 14:31

22nd of August for me! Feels like the longest wait 😣. Wish it hadn’t taken so long to fill them out and I’d have our answer by now 🤣

Meli3 · 16/11/2022 14:48

@MissEllie2 I took my time with it could of got it in earlier but wanted to do it right, just wish I knew driving me nuts. How long do you think it will be for us ? X

Shellbel10 · 16/11/2022 15:07

Congrats @Alilly1991 what evidence did you send in

georgiesmuma · 16/11/2022 15:40

19th for me…. Phoned yesterday and they said should hear by next week. It’s some kind of sick twisted mind game applying for dla isn’t it? I’m sure most of us would rather we wasn’t part of this club with our children whether medical or complex needs. Awful we feel we have to beg because are children aren’t the ‘standard’ & then its based if w check list and a strangers opinion it’s baffling!

Alilly1991 · 16/11/2022 16:10

Shellbel10 · 16/11/2022 15:07

Congrats @Alilly1991 what evidence did you send in

I sent in HV report and that was it. She explained what he was like and the referrals she’s made…. Literally next to nothing

MissEllie2 · 16/11/2022 16:10

@Meli3 I’m expecting around the 28th of November. Although I’ve just seen someone be awarded for the 17th so maybe it’ll be sooner? I won’t be ringing until this time next week I don’t think. I want to check they got addition evidence scanned on that I sent last week and the week before before it goes to DM x
