I just spoke to a really lovely man and my scan date is august 19th he saod due to be looked at this week beginning of next week max! So hopefully all your girls before me should get your answers this week.

Hi scan date 10th august, called last tuesday was still waiting to be looked at but said it will be in the next week. Called today was told its gone to DM over the weekend but to allow another week for decision to be made.

Does anyone know how long it's usually with case manager for ? I kind of wanna ring every day to see if any updates but I'm unsure if they have already had enough of me

Hi all been lurking a while our scan date is 21st September. Hoping its not much longer than January as I see there's a huge backlog :( we applied for our 10 year old daughter she's got severe adhd and autism with PDA profile and also Sensory processing disorder.

@Momto3smalls I am struggling to not call back again first thing tomorrow morning 😂😅

Same thing is not everyone has been texted when they have been awarded so I feel like I need to keep ringing haha xx

@Momto3smalls We all need a medal. We’ve been so upbeat when this entire process has been tumultuous. If I do not get a response by Wednesday then it's every morning until then. Pls contact your M.P also 💜

@Momto3smalls i contacted my mp, I stated that I’m finding it hard to fund her travel to and from appointments etc. and with the cost of living crisis everything is so exasperated. I also mentioned that i appreciate they have back logs etc but this is affecting our most vulnerable. My mp responded the same day 11 days ago, asking for daughters details and confirmation that you are happy for them to look into it for you on your behalf. My scan date was 13th sept late renewal by a few days they classed as new claim 😞 so I asked him to look into it he said he would and contact me when they had an answer for me. And I’ve got a payment due tomorrow x

Wow! If I don't get an answer this week il deffo contact them !! It's been so long... I just hope that it's worth the wait and not a long battle ! My son doesn't sleep... no joke even with melatonin he's still up at 3-4am manages on 1 hour sleep if that! I didn't know how to put that across on my form so put he needs assistance 10x + and can take from 30-60 minutes + each time to settle but that's not exactly accurate as he's already tonight been down 100 times 😂 I only put him to bed 20 mins ago 🤦‍♀️

The wait is much longer than normal due to backlog... .. Usually 8weeks and then decision.... From my recent experience time is now 13 weeks wait then with decision maker by 14th week...payment was received before any letter confirming successful application.... Contacting mps etc only delays the people who have been waiting having to wait even longer even though their in the same position as others! ....

How long was it before you got a scan date and how did they let you know? I sent it tracked and signed for the royal mail has said its delivered and signed for zero confirmation its arrived from dla its a renewal for January so I'm anxious enough as it is

My scan date was 5th Aug... Money in bank 10th...letter confirming today x

Money in bank 10th November * scan date 5th Aug.... Letter confirming 14th November

Just woke up to a back payment in the bank new claim scan 5th no letter and no text going to ring to find out the rates! So happy

Should have had back payment in bank today from 6th July and nothing in bank
