DLA Wait Times Part 5 2022

Hi,

I created a new thread as the old one is reaching its limit.

I phoned today scan date Aug 1st got told be with dm next week or week after and should hear either way in next 2 weeks.

@Hayhoarematthews mines a coc scan date is the 13th of june, it's takinng forever 😔 x

Oh no they are taking even longer aswell 😔 x

@Mkd1322 please let us know if you do call. I'm dying to know what's going on. Keep checking this thread everyday hoping one of you has good news. It is just taking way too long. 19 weeks today!

I’m going to phone at 9 - 25th July scanned date - new claim.
COC take so long my sons was 9th March didn’t get awarded until end of July. 19 weeks in total for that.

I’ve just called, my sons scan date is 27th July, he advised me they are working upto the 26th at the moment and I should hear in the next week or 2. The wait just seems to go on forever 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Keyto3 me @Mkd1322 and @OKJ have all been waiting 19 weeks now so hopefully not much longer thanks for letting us know yours took about 19 weeks x

Hopefully some good news for people today.
@Isaacsmammy i wouldn’t worry too much if anything it be beginning of next week at latest x

Decision made on mine on the 25th - not awarded - so hopefully not much longer for everyone else on the 25th July scan date

I’ve just spoke to a lady from the dwp, my scan date is the 27th July, she said they are working on dates up to the 26th, it might get looked at tomorrow or it will be next week and to ring back next Friday x

I sent in all her hospital appointment letters. She is just turned one so I wasn’t sure. What is DM? The lady said I had to wait for the letter to see why.

That made no sense - she has just turned 1 and I understand that is hard for babies - I sent in her hospital reports and birth certificate.. I have to wait for the letter to see why. What is a DM? Anyone had luck with that?

@Keyto3 its a mandatory reconsideration.
you can do this once you receive letter explaining why you wasn’t awarded. They take about 4 weeks from what I’ve read x

Oh a mandatory reconsideration? How long does that take ? Are there many success stories?

@Keyto3 not long so I’ve read on other threads about 4-5 weeks and a lot of people do have decision over turned by them. X

I'm the 25th and it's with a dm I'm so nervous not sure if to ring or not
