I am at my highest weight since being pregnant 10 years ago. I am 14 stone and 5ft 6.
I just couldn't stop eating/ bingeing and saw myself go above 12, 13 and now at 14 stone. All put on in a year - a stressful year.

I've resorted my fitbit, got the app and walked 5k yesterday and today with an aim to eat 1200 calories. But food is my mental comfort. Gah
I need new clothes now I'm too fat for everything I own.

I have just had a nutritious cooked meal at lunch (our work canteen can come up trumps sometimes) but that does mean I have to stop myself from eating another full meal plus pudding at tea time.

MostlyHungryAgain · 19/01/2019 09:37

That sounds nice DrSpouse, what was it?

So, I've started Keto again. I've also written a plan for a keto week so hopefully I manage to stick to it!

This morning's breakfast was 2 fried eggs and some halloumi cheese.
I'm not hungry for lunch so i may skip it, then sausages & cauliflower cheese for dinner.

I've also found a great recipe for a keto loaf for sandwiches, and also some keto pasta, just need to try and get off the sofa to do it! I have all the ingredients I think...

How is everyone doing?

drspouse · 19/01/2019 09:39

I had gnocchi...
1/2lb off this morning, still coughing so no running or cycling.

MostlyHungryAgain · 19/01/2019 11:19

that's a loooong time, is it definitely not bronchitis or anything like that?

is it getting any better?

yay for 1/2 lb off, well done!

drspouse · 19/01/2019 11:24

GP says no, I saw her on Tues.

MostlyHungryAgain · 20/01/2019 12:41

74.3kg this morning after the first day of Keto.
Made almond bread yesterday and keto pasta.
Also made a keto pizza that is ready to go in the oven tonight.

Think I have had a good day today as well so fingers crossed for a bit more off tomorrow!

How is everyone else doing?

drspouse · 20/01/2019 19:46

Managed some gardening today with minimal coughing, not sure I'll brave a run tomorrow but maybe the next day. Now to fill in my food diary.

MostlyHungryAgain · 21/01/2019 01:51

Great, hopefully you are on the up now! Is it really cold there?

Where is everyone?!

74.3kg again this morning, no change. I 'feel' different though. Excited to start keto again, but this time i am going to keep going and get to 60kg. Just reading inspirational stories, if people can lose hundreds of pounds then this is finally doable!

drspouse · 22/01/2019 18:01

I DID IT.
Plus Pilates yesterday.
Must be the slowest running on rescue though.
I may try cycling to work tomorrow if it isn't snowing.

yayy well done Drs! Is your cough totally gone?

73.8kg this morning whoop!
it's not amazing but it's half a kg down.

Keto is going well and I am enjoying it.

drspouse · 25/01/2019 14:10

I'm still coughing a bit but it's mainly just a frog in my throat - had a presentation at work yesterday but everyone was very patient!
Just did week 2 run 1 thanks to a cancelled hair appointment.

MostlyHungryAgain · 27/01/2019 11:26

Erm, is anyone still out there?!

Well done Drs! On your presentation and your run.

Keto still going well here, I don't seem to have lost any weight but I definitely feel less podgy. and also less hungry, haven't had any snack attacks.

Have consumed own body weight in butter and cheese though. Blush

drspouse · 27/01/2019 12:53

Yep, lost another 1/2 lb and keeping on with MFP.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 25/02/2019 23:12

Is anyone still here or have you moved to another thread?

I'm still here (but that survey won't be here for long).
I've managed at least one run and one bike ride for the last few weeks and have lost maybe 2lb in the last month.
Need to get back on track with counting, it's mainly been ok but a few wobbles.

drspouse · 01/03/2019 21:53

That was quick @mnhq

Gothamgirl1970 · 03/03/2019 10:53

Hi I am marking a spot

drspouse · 03/03/2019 11:39

One more run yesterday - week 5 run 1.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 03/03/2019 12:15

I did one run on Friday but hadn’t been for a month before that. Might do one today if the weather gets better this evening

drspouse · 04/03/2019 21:24

Run and Pilates fit me. Gold star! Or some more toffee. I made some at the weekend but nobody except me likes it.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 03/04/2019 18:38

Just bumping this after nearly a month. Have managed running regularly for the last few weeks. Massive failure on the eating front though. Going to sort that this week. Maybe.

Week 5 Run 1 For me tonight, but it’s freezing out there.
