I am at my highest weight since being pregnant 10 years ago. I am 14 stone and 5ft 6.
I just couldn't stop eating/ bingeing and saw myself go above 12, 13 and now at 14 stone. All put on in a year - a stressful year.

I've resorted my fitbit, got the app and walked 5k yesterday and today with an aim to eat 1200 calories. But food is my mental comfort. Gah
I need new clothes now I'm too fat for everything I own.

About to catch the bus home, may have to put on my waterproofs and go for a walk later to up by steps though.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 05/12/2018 18:28

Managed most of week5 Run 2. Walked for about 90s of the second 8 minute run.

17,779 steps which is good considering I haven’t been in work today.

drspouse · 05/12/2018 21:47

Did my 10K, by getting off the bus early (by accident) and doing some tidying.

MostlyHungryAgain · 06/12/2018 02:06

73.3 kg Sad

Morning all, apologies for being off the radar for a couple of days: have a deadline so have locked myself away in the uni library to avoid all (internet) temptations!

Welcome Drspouse!

Impressive exercise everyone , keep it up! Even if we are struggling with getting the pre Xmas pounds off, at least we are moving more.

Hungry don't despair. Maybe step back for a few days and cut yourself some slack. Focus on being healthy and we can all get back on track in the new year.

Well done on the running, Rafals. I'm doing that run shortly. I'm a bit scared tbh!

Another writing day today then picking up a few bits from Marks. I ordered a top optimistically in a size 14 as 16 had sold out...am prepared for it not to fit!

drspouse · 06/12/2018 09:07

I'm going to try and do Shred today, as it's that or a long walk in the rain!
It's work curled Christmas dinner today plus we're going out tomorrow as we have a babysitter for the first time in, ooh, 6 months? But I've got a bit more control over the menu tomorrow. Just will have to try and eat a filling low calorie lunch today to keep me going till dinner Hmm.

drspouse · 06/12/2018 09:08

Curled?? Hopefully not!

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 06/12/2018 09:30

I’m spending 8 hours on a coach, so not likely to get the steps in today. Although it does reduce the opportunity for eating random shite though.

ThrownMuse · 06/12/2018 11:11

Are you ok, Rafals? Or just having a day off from it all?

You can do it, drspouse, eye on the prize! And have a lovely time!

I managed Day 2/Week 5 of C25K, and it felt...ok. Satursday (running for TWENTY minutes) is going to be painful.

As you can by the fact I am here, I am all written out today, so I am going to pop into town and pick up a few Christmas bits. I hate shopping but may have a coffee by the beach and watch the waves as my reward for doing it.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 06/12/2018 12:14

I'm going to vis

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 06/12/2018 12:17

I’ll start again...

I’m going to visit family up country. Had I realised this coach stopped everywhere, I might have got a different one.

ThrownMuse · 07/12/2018 05:07

Oh no Rafals. Hope you made it there eventually.

The wind outside woke me up at 4.50am. Might try and go back to sleep, but DS will be awake at 5.30 so not much point!

I'll weigh in a bit.

ThrownMuse · 07/12/2018 07:46

Same for me today.

I'm going to resign myself to not getting to 2 stone by Xmas, and settle with 1 and a half. I've not been awful, just not 100% on it due to other stuff!

Pleased with my 15 weeks of only drinking once a week and starting running!

I will be back on it with a ninja sharp focus from 27/12 (when my family leaves), but will continue staying steady and posting.

The weather is FILTHY here! But I love a storm so not complaining.

Happy Friday all. No wine for me tonight as babysitting two nights in a row. A wine free 2 weeks might help actually!

drspouse · 07/12/2018 11:04

Dinner last night wasn't too much of a blowout. Posh place with small portions! Back to normal today but maybe a tiny bit hungover (oops).

ThrownMuse · 08/12/2018 05:50

Glad you enjoyed it, drspouse! DP and I went for a posh meal in Oct and I STILL think about it. Totally worth it.

I have such a long day today, not helped by DS coming in at 5.30. This morning is week 5/day 3 of c25k, which involves running for 20 (20!) minutes.

Then it's the tree, the cinema and babysitting for a friend. Only she can't go out til the kids are asleep, which is 9.30pm. I'm normally in bed by then! So not much sleep for me tonight.

What's everyone up to/eating today? I'm planning:

Eggs on pitta.
Ham salad.
Small portion of home made beef and veg stew.

Smile
drspouse · 08/12/2018 11:02

I usually have a day off on Sat after weigh in, but I'm still going to try and get my steps in. I did lose those two lb but my habit is lose, gain, lose so the aim is keep logging and stepping till Christmas to keep them off then try and get some more off.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 08/12/2018 11:17

You can manage the run Thown.
Posh places with small portions are my favourite places to eat drspouse

I’m mostly consuming my calories in gin this week. Will be back on the wagon when I get home.

Going shopping later, then off to cinema and home for takeaway and most likely more gin. No running involved and I’m down to about 3000 steps a day at the moment. Hoping shopping might add a few.

drspouse · 08/12/2018 11:22

I've also realised that as well as being lazy about logging, I've developed a bad gin habit. I had several drinks on Thurs which was the first for a while and it made me think about having more regular breaks.

MostlyHungryAgain · 08/12/2018 15:28

I've also been on the gin tonight but had it with soda so surely that doesn't count... Grin

B: 4 x oatcakes & sugar free marmalade no butter
L: Leftover pasta salad
D: Veg burger (no bun), salad and broccoli
S: none
Drinks: Diet cokes, tea, and 2 x gins/soda

Thrown I would love to not worry about it til January but the problem is I have a two week trip to go on over Christmas with no access to salads etc, all cooked food and heavy food so I will definitely put on a few kg. Trying to lose in advance of this!

Well done everyone for all the exercise!
I think in Jan or possibly even on the trip I might start and join you all on that.

ThrownMuse · 08/12/2018 20:16

Oh dear. The gin is out and about! Make the most of the season, I say!

I did it! I did the run! And it was great! I mean, I was a sweaty lump, but Michael Johnston cheered me all the way and I made it!

Feel like I'm coming down with a sore throat though. Typical!

Have lovely evenings, all. No bed til 12.30am for me as babysitting. 😴

drspouse · 08/12/2018 20:50

Yay for running!
Easily did my 10K steps (house needs a major tidy for a start) but not counting food today.
Hoping it might be nice enough to get DS to do some bike practice tomorrow but not counting my chickens.

ThrownMuse · 08/12/2018 22:06

Thanks, drspouse! Right back atcha on your 10k! Plus the housework. I'd not be counting food either!

We're visiting family tomorrow but hoping to stop off on the way for some fresh air for DS...but best check the weather first!

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 09/12/2018 14:14

Well done on the running Thrown.

I’m down to about 2k steps for the moment. Will have to get back on it next week -once I’ve sobered up-.

I’m not sure the cheese and alcohol diet’s going to doming for my weight tbh.

MostlyHungryAgain · 10/12/2018 16:31

well done thrown & dr spouse!

73.1kg this morn

would love tomorrow to be less but have had some junk today inc 2 x mini bakewell tarts Blush

drspouse · 10/12/2018 17:41

Did my 10K yesterday as I popped out for a walk after the DCs were (theoretically) in bed and cycled in today (and I have my lights so I will cycle back too!)
