Anyone just starting? I don't think I can do it alone!

Hi, I'm a fatty and can't stand the self conscious feeling anymore. I tried sw but it's not working for me so I've downloaded mfp.

I've got about 3 stone to lose and would love a chunk off by October. Though I know it will take longer to hit target...anyone else just starting? Or just need a bit of company along the way?

Ate badly today as wasn't organised!

NightWanderer · 16/05/2017 05:20

I was slightly under my target 1500 kcalories for Monday. I've also been trying to drink more water and take a multivitamin. Will try and add in some exercise too even if it's just walking. I've only just started but I feel better for it.

Email from Costco today with a selection of their baked goods though. I love Costco baked goods but they are really, really awful. I've been known to eat a whole box of their cinnamon rolls by myself Blush

The stress of a teenager is enough to cause weight loss. Not eaten all day - I guess that's a bonus!!!

FluffedIt · 16/05/2017 20:30

Hope everything is ok @gttia

Welcome @RedDahlia! My scales measure fat and water percentage too-very depressing!

Have you tried fiddling with the settings in the mfp app?

Fluffedlt - she has totally disengaged from school. On full report, going in on Thursday. Refuses to participate, attitude, says she is bored, hates school and her teachers.
Have really lost it with her this evening. A lot of stress today so hardly eaten.

Seems to have taken everything on board though and now she's on report, no social media, no phone, no going out I am hoping for an improvement.
Although it's done my diet good lol

FluffedIt · 17/05/2017 05:35

That's frustrating, is she struggling with the work maybe? Or feeling like she's not getting enough attention? Although sadly sometimes there's no reason at all, hope it works itself out, what about bribes?!

I almost fell off wagon yday, well i did then skipped dinner to make up for it so was still under calories, made the mistake of getting weight watcher mini rolls but had one then ate the other 4! Not my finest hour!

Well done fluffed!
Friday is my weigh day so hoping for more off. Feel it in my clothes....

gttia · 17/05/2017 15:50

Today is my weigh day on the boditrax machine at the gym. My trousers feel really loose so I'm hoping I've lost.

3 1/2lbs is a great loss - well done xx

FluffedIt · 17/05/2017 16:52

I've fallen so far off the diet wagon I've rolled down a hill and onto the train tracks and got hit by the gravy train!

Under so much stress at work I've let everything go and I'm struggling to cope and of course food is my medicine.

NightWanderer · 18/05/2017 08:13

We're still on pre-pay day austerity measures so it's pretty easy to stay within my calories. Get paid tomorrow, so will try not to go OTT on chocolate. Grin

It's a pain but I tend to add all the ingredients up then divide by number of portions, then do quick add on mfp Or add it if I have it regularly.

I do prefer grabbing something and knowing exactly what's in it but homemade is nicer than a weight watchers frozen meal!

Weigh in day for me and another 2lbs off!

NightWanderer · 20/05/2017 05:51

I lost 2 kg, which Im thrilled with but the first week is the easiest. Im 95 kg now. Id like to get below 90 kg in the next 10 weeks.

lifesjoys · 20/05/2017 06:52

Congratulations to all who have lost, I ate chocolate yesterday.....first time in a month, BIGGEST mistake of my life! I was so so ill, I won't be doing it again I can assure you!

I don't expect a loss this week, I probably won't weigh now for a few weeks

gttia · 20/05/2017 11:06

Only half a pound for me, so I went off the rails and had a curry and a bottle of wineConfused
Got all de motivated.

Well done to everyone who lost Grin

A1Sharon · 20/05/2017 19:42

Don't pack it in gttia, just start afresh tomorrow.
I'm having veggie fried rice from the Chinese (in about 5mins!) and I cannot wait. I've been bloody starving all day so I could enjoy it. I'll probably still be over but. It going to stress and just keep going.
I'm trying to focus more on life style change than just doing it for a set period, I needed to change my eating habits.

gttia · 21/05/2017 09:43

I tried to be better yesterday..

I took a photo of myself in a new top and I look much better than a month ago so I'm happy!

Did you enjoy your Chinese?
How is everyone else doing?

FluffedIt · 21/05/2017 10:58

I failed. Epically(is that a word?!).

I had cheese burger and fudge cake from spoons, and beer, wine, jäger bombs and vodka!

Now I've just thrown up my coffee and need a bacon sandwich!

Gonna write the day off and start fromscratch tomo

Jäger bombs?! You deserve to be sick, boak!Grin
My Chinese was divine, scoffed the lot, and had a cosmopolitan.
Back on it today, had a homemade crepe for breakfast, small cheese sandwich for lunch, and doing veggie chilli for dinner, need to go get the ingredients now.
New week tomorrow, my goal is another 2lbs off.
We can do it!
gttia I can fit into a pair of trousers that I haven't been able to wear for a while-yay!
