Hi, I'm a fatty and can't stand the self conscious feeling anymore. I tried sw but it's not working for me so I've downloaded mfp.

I've got about 3 stone to lose and would love a chunk off by October. Though I know it will take longer to hit target...anyone else just starting? Or just need a bit of company along the way?

A1Sharon · 13/05/2017 17:22

lifesjoys you are my new hero!
Wow!!!
Any tips?

A1Sharon · 13/05/2017 17:23

Hang on, in 7 weeks?
Have you just had triplets? Grin

A1Sharon · 13/05/2017 17:23

Nightwanderer that sounds right up my street!

lifesjoys · 13/05/2017 21:15

Wink I feel like I have! Haha!

I'm on a lower calorie diet than I need to be, I'm on 1300 a day, however some days I will only eat 1000.

I eat 3 times a day.

A1Sharon · 13/05/2017 21:19

That's 1/2 a stone a week! Shock

gttia · 13/05/2017 22:46

That's fabulous :-) :-)

gttia · 14/05/2017 16:03

Ooops I've just had nandos!

gttia · 14/05/2017 16:03

Ooops I've just had nandos!

A1Sharon · 14/05/2017 17:14

I have never had a Nandos, I've never even been in a Nandos Blush.
What did you have?

PastysPrincess · 14/05/2017 17:28

If I've lost any weight this week it will be a miracle. Tomorrow morning is my weigh in so it'll be a new start again. I've had nandos once or twice. It was nice but The nearest one Is quite far away so not a first choice. I think it's relatively healthy if you don't add chips etc.

gttia · 14/05/2017 19:28

We shared a platter, I've put into mfp but because we walked from blackheath to Greenwich and I walked back again I'm still under my daily goal!

A1Sharon · 14/05/2017 19:55

Yay! Excellent news.
I decided not to calorie count my dinner, I've been spot on and doing really well, so had some crusty bread with butter and curry-but my appetite is so much better now. I ate slowly automatically and stopped when full. Good news for me.
Going to have a bit of Brie and some water biscuits later.
New week tomorrow!

lifesjoys · 14/05/2017 23:23

Guys!! I didn't have a good day.

Had breakfast, went on a date & had a cooler from costa Blush will hop on google to find calories!

DS had to go to hospital so ate a few bits of crap to keep me going, so all in all it's been a crappy shitty day!

NightWanderer · 15/05/2017 05:41

I hope your DS is ok lifesjoys Everyone has bad days now and then.

I get paid on Friday, so pretty much emptying the cupboards here. managed to resist lots of goodies today, so hopefully will have a good week. I skipped Sunday as it was Mother's Day here and the kids made me pancakes. I don't think it was too bad though.

PastysPrincess · 15/05/2017 06:40

Gained 1.2lbs this week. FFS too much cake not enough exercise.

superram · 15/05/2017 06:46

Can I join? Was 12.9 on Friday after losing 6lb in a fortnight but had a fight weekend of wine and afternoon tea. I want to be 10.7 by September when I turn 40. Will try to skip breakfast and lunch today (sort of 5:2) as I'm really busy and hopefully won't notice. I am either being good or being out of control and eating stuff I don't really like. Trying to stick to 1200 calories a day.

FluffedIt · 15/05/2017 07:30

No weight loss here, but it's still lady time so blaming that Grin

Saw my reflection in windows yesterday and it hit me how big I've got..plenty of motivation!

DragonNoodleCake · 15/05/2017 10:55

Down 1lb this week. Wish it was more but hey that's 5lb in 15 days so not bad.
I also saw myself in shop windows yesterday fluff - it was not a good sight.

dancelikenoneiswatching · 15/05/2017 11:14

Can I join? I have 2 stone to lose and decided calorie counting and walking is the way to do it! I just need to get my act together and start doing it Smile

A1Sharon · 15/05/2017 13:16

superram and dance yes, the more the merrier!
dance I mapped out 3 miles on mapmywalk or something and then do the 3 miles in an hour. Its a good brisk pace-for me anyway, I am not fit!

Peakyblinder · 15/05/2017 14:13

I want to join. I weighed myself today and bloody hell Sad
I am nearly 14 stone !!
I wasnt this big when I gave birth !
I have totally fallen into the" Oh lifes too short, im gonna have that piece of cake, tra la laaa " attitude. Except Its silly because I am now massive. MASSIVE !
Im 42. I need to get a grip healthwise and so I can wear some nice clothes ! I have a double chin !! A triple chin.

So my issue is binging. I lost 3 stone on MFP and sticking to 1200 cals a day. But I get so hungry !!
I dont know how to stop being hungy ????? Its like an ache only a cake can fix Sad

FluffedIt · 15/05/2017 19:45

I know that ache all too well peaky! I find it gets much easier as the days go on, it's just getting started that's the problem with me!

This year is creeping by and I'm nowhere near my goal, I wish I could bottle how I feel now as I'm feeling so motivated and organised!

I know i keep banging on the Paul McKenna book I Can Make You Thin, but honestly, it really does help. I really recommend it peaky it's great for beating cravings etc.
