Hi, I'm a fatty and can't stand the self conscious feeling anymore. I tried sw but it's not working for me so I've downloaded mfp.

I've got about 3 stone to lose and would love a chunk off by October. Though I know it will take longer to hit target...anyone else just starting? Or just need a bit of company along the way?

I've ordered a bikini for our honeymoon - Shock

Must now concentrate...

PastysPrincess · 22/05/2017 07:20

I'm very surprised I've only put 0.8lb on this week since I fell of the diet wagon.

I really must learn to deal with stress in a better way than eating.

FluffedIt · 22/05/2017 07:36

Pasty that's my problem too, it's hard!

New week, new start!

How did everyone get on yesterday?

OP posts:
PastysPrincess · 23/05/2017 07:40

Did really well, over 12,000 steps and 600 cals of exercise. I've made a really healthy lunch with 5 portions of fruit and veg. Not feeling particularly well today and DS did not sleep well so I didn't sleep well. Gonna have to really try and resist the vending (they've installed a card reader on it so it's easy access)

NightWanderer · 23/05/2017 07:49

I always eat crap when I'm stressed or tired too.

Weekend was ok, not too awful but I didn't fill in MFP.

I have done it today and am well within my calories so far.

Hope everyone has a good week Smile

Bleurghghghgh · 23/05/2017 16:24

Joining please! My BMI now puts me at obese...! I have at least 2.5 stone to lose. I've posted my own thread which I'll keep updating but need some group support too I think!

Bleurghghghgh · 23/05/2017 16:28

Also I'm going for lunch with work tomorrow (pizza place that does nothing else) AND we're having a BBQ after work. Tomorrow is already a write off

gttia · 23/05/2017 16:54

Not too bad so far this week. Went out to a carvery for lunch but will skip tea so should be ok...

bruffian · 23/05/2017 16:57

Hello! You are all doing really well. I've been calorie counting for two weeks so far but I'm off work with a sore throat today and I've had two between meal snacks so will probably go over today. I weighed 12.8 when I started, will weigh on Fri morning. Am hoping I'll be 12.5 at least.

Bleurghghghgh · 23/05/2017 17:32

Going to do a cherry tomato and spinach omelette with a sprinkling of gruyere for dinner. Was meant to be salad but I fancy something a bit more substantial

A1Sharon · 24/05/2017 17:36

If anyone is still around, to you want to have a bit of a challenge? I'm going to see how much I can lose in 10 days.
Going to up my exercise and not include the gained calories in my eating. And going to be rigid, rigid I tell you, with my daily diary.

FluffedIt · 24/05/2017 19:51

That sounds perfect @A1Sharon as I'm back to work from mat leave in 12 days!

I've stepped up my Fitbit (on 16k today so far!) If anyone is on fitbit too and fancies doing some challenges I'm up for it!

Right, so far I've lost 44lbs in 8 weeks.

That's an average of 5.5lbs a week! Shock

3.1stone so far!!

I have to say, I'm pretty chuffed with myself

FluffedIt · 24/05/2017 20:35

That's amazing! Well done!! Star

gttia · 24/05/2017 20:59

I'm up for a challenge.
Would anyone like to start a what's app group together?
We can msg when we NEED chocolate and others can say NO!!!

Not offended if people don't want too xx

gttia · 24/05/2017 21:00

Life joys - that is amazing, you must feel so proud xxx

Papillion86 · 24/05/2017 22:14

Joining please! Managed to lose nearly two stone since new year and get pretty fit but then decided to go on holiday Confused weighed myself as soon as we got back from the airport and have put on half a stone! In a week!!!
So here we go again.....I have a serious problem with food, in that I love it! It's literally the topic of most of my conversations. And not just food but portion size! Yes, I am addicted to food. Enough is enough and I am back on the wagon MFP is updated and spinning booked for tomorrow night. Only 4 (and a half) stone to go Smile

FluffedIt · 24/05/2017 22:34

@Papillion86 I bet that will come straight off, it's prob just bloat! (In the nicest way possible!)

OP posts:
A1Sharon · 24/05/2017 22:50

Please join us Papillion the more the merrier-and the more motivated I feel!
Onwards and upwards. Right, so next Friday or sat for 'big weigh in'?

bruffian · 24/05/2017 23:12

I've been very good at sticking to 1200 cals but had a row with my brother on the phone and ended up eating a bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes!!

lifesjoys · 24/05/2017 23:31

Thank you all!

I'm starting to like the person I see in the mirror, yes I've got a jelly belly (had one before I had my son) but I no longer feel self conscious about only wearing a top as opposed to jackets over the top to cover my stomach!

I do still have another 44lbs to go which is another 3stone.

Gttia, I'm pretty serious about losing this last 3st, so I'm game for what's app!

FluffedIt · 25/05/2017 20:57

Another day of being good here, I even walked down the choc aisle then walked away!

Nearly 13k steps and under calories

How's everyone getting on?

OP posts:
Papillion86 · 25/05/2017 21:49

Spin class done and well under calories! My legs feel like jelly!!!

Also picked up some chocolate snackajacks which hit the spot after dinner. Resisting the urge to get on the scales until next week.
