Anyone just starting? I don't think I can do it alone!

Hi, I'm a fatty and can't stand the self conscious feeling anymore. I tried sw but it's not working for me so I've downloaded mfp.

I've got about 3 stone to lose and would love a chunk off by October. Though I know it will take longer to hit target...anyone else just starting? Or just need a bit of company along the way?

Oh dear I've gained 2lb too!

Kicking myself for having a blowout but not feeling discouraged will just try harder this week instead!

I played with the bmi calculator and worked out I need to loose 35lb just to be classed as healthy😲

2 months tomorrow is my target date so I just want as much as poss off by then...why is it so hard it's not fair!!

3Ib off this week, yay! I managed to get my pre pregnancy work trousers on this morning so I'm feeling pretty positive today.

It is so hard. Although I have lost a lot this week it has taken some real will power, and I've been feeling so deprived! I just want a chocolate binge!

WonderfullySunny · 08/08/2017 06:13

Is there room for a not so little one to join?! Also starting out on MFP (Goggins22 in case anyone would like to add me). I need to lose 20lbs just to be in the healthy BMI bracket, pretty much the same height as you FluffedIt and same weight as caremummy Smile. Veterinari I've also been losing the same 4kgs over and over again for the last five years so would be great to break that barrier!
Overall goal is 30lbs/18kgs, sounds scary when it's down like that, small steps right?! Plus support from the lovelies here!

PastysPrincess · 08/08/2017 07:33

@WonderfullySunny one day at a time. It's all about small decisions that build up.

FluffedIt · 08/08/2017 15:26

Help me I'm so tired and dealing with teething...I just want to scoff all the choc!

PastysPrincess · 08/08/2017 15:54

Ugh teething was the WORST. You have my sympathies. I'm not gonna say it wont last forever cos that used to piss me right off.

PinkOnWednesday · 08/08/2017 16:07

hi, is there any chance I'd be able to join? I'm calorie counting using mfp and I've put on a lot of weight recently, I'd like to lose about three stoneBlush

PastysPrincess · 08/08/2017 16:19

Hi Pink. Whats your username on mfp?

PinkOnWednesday · 08/08/2017 16:25

Hi PatsysPrincess, it's 'chubbygal98', I've tried to add some of you using the usernames you've shared already, hope that's okaySmile

FluffedIt · 08/08/2017 16:46

I've accepted, but I've also succumbed and stuffed a sandwich and crisps and a pack of rolos so will be a case of do as I say not as I do!!

Yes teething is a bastard, I didn't get home til gone midnight after work last night then she was up at 2,3,4 and up from 6... I want my happy monkey back!

OP posts:
FluffedIt · 08/08/2017 16:47

...and more choc!

PinkOnWednesday · 08/08/2017 16:47

Thanks FluffedItSmile sorry to hear about the teething, tiredness is always a killer when dieting

WonderfullySunny · 08/08/2017 18:37

This is exciting Grin FluffedIt as long as it's in your calorie balance for the day it's fine right?! Actually thinking about it I've not seen rolo's in years! Probably for the best as well....

Dottydoodoo · 09/08/2017 21:21

I'm tired today, I can't even blame my DS because he has been sleeping beautifully but I'm absolutely shattered. Therefore, I have just eaten a load of revels. Waaaaaaa!!

Lizard202 · 09/08/2017 21:40

Aaaaah! Huge bag of cooking apples given to me so obviously had to make two apple cakes 🙄 any healthy cooking apple recipe suggestions for the rest? Other than that not a bad week, so fingers crossed for weigh-in Saturday 🤔

Lizard202 · 09/08/2017 21:42

@Dottydoodoo tiredness is the worst, just crave sweet stuff. Can you squeeze in a relaxing bath before bedtime 😴😴😴

KatyaZamolodchikova · 09/08/2017 21:45

Hello! Mind if I join? I'm not on mfp I'm doing it all through my Fitbit app. I've lost 5lb so far, but have three stone left to go.

PastysPrincess · 10/08/2017 08:05

High praise from the husband today:
"Your belly looks a lot better, you dont look like you are pregnant anymore"

Jordan1410 · 10/08/2017 15:35

I've had cramps which feel like period pains all day but I've had no period. I've got the implant in and had it for just over a year and haven't had a period since...

Any ideas what it could be? Confused

essieestherson · 10/08/2017 15:48

Bit late to the party but can I join too please? I started about 3 weeks ago but could do with some support! Also what is Mfp?

FluffedIt · 11/08/2017 08:14

😂😂😂 @PastysPrincess that's hilarious, how old is your dc?

Welcome @essieestherson mfp is my fitness pal the calorie counting app. It's a lot easier to keep count when u can log it all and not have to think much!

No idea about cramps other than period or poo pains!!

I've been weighing most days this week and finally hit my 1st mark Star woo!

OP posts:
PastysPrincess · 11/08/2017 09:40

@FluffedIt DS is 3 now. I would like to say my weight gain is due to baby weight but I actually lost weight having him. I stuffed my face with chocolate when I went back to work instead.

@Jordan1410 I'm on the implant and it's messed me around a lot. It could just be hormones doing the period pain. Be warned though the Dr thinks the reason it's been so bad recently is cos it's running out early. Shock

Dottydoodoo · 11/08/2017 20:13

PastysPrincess lol!! My DH thinks my lost pounds are down the back of the sofa!

FluffedIt woop woop well done! I've got 2ib to lose before I hit the one stone mark.

Welcome essieestherton!

I am having a bit of a bad week 😳. I've had more chocolate this week than I should have done. Today was somebody's last day at work before retiring so there was lots of cake, and tomorrow is my dads birthday......so even more cake!! Help! I have embraced the cake but not gone mad, but I'm over my calorie goal every day this week and I normally try and stay just under. It will be interesting to see what the scales say on Monday. Next week is definitely a new week and I'm going to be super good, I promise!

PastysPrincess · 13/08/2017 10:37

Right ladies (& Gents??) I need to get back on track. I'm knackered cos my son hasn't been sleeping well and it was supposed to be my lie in today but I couldn't sleep and then when I did fall asleep DH woke me accidentally!!😡

I've got a face like a slapped arse and we are going out for a long walk later so if you hear on the news someone has spontaneously combust on a canal you'll know it was me.

I need to sort my shit out 😴😴😴😴

FluffedIt · 13/08/2017 11:08

Oh poor you, it's so shit when you are tired, I'm getting wound up with dh as I get up with dd every morning so he lies in, gets up and has a cigarette, then a 20min poo, then a shower, then gets dressed all on his own without any rush or interruptions..then by the time we swap over dd has a nap so he then just chills watching sport whilst I'm feeling knackered and tearing my hair out! Men.

Grr! I've failed so far this weekend but am working tonight so will do lots of steps today and hope to maintain Tomo.
