I'm here
I decided to put battteries in my scales yesterday. I hadn't weighed myself since April 2015. I knew I'd put weight on, I knew it was a bit, but I hadn't realised it was over 8kg
At one point using MFP I got to 79.9kg. Last weigh in was 93.7kg (April 15). Yesterday was........ 101.9kg.
I'm mortified
So, yesterday, I logged back in to MFP.
As it's Ramadan and no eating or drinking in the office is alllowed, it's easier as I can't snack.
Yesterday was a 1180 calorie day. That included a massive fillet steak salad for tea as we had got the steak out of the freezer the night before.
My issue is I've developed a fish allergy since last one I lost weight calorie counting. I used to only react to shellfish, but now oily fish are causing me to have an anaphylactic reaction. As it's escalating, although white fish is only causing minimal reaction, my allergy guy has recommended no fish at all.
My downfall is cheese. And portion size. But I know this and will adjust accordingly. No more blocks of cheese - just sliced cheese so that there is a set calorie amount in each slice. Better than grating and trying to weigh, then adding a bit more.
I'd like 6kg in 6 weeks. I can easily do that, starting from so high. If I stick to it, I can do it.
My aim is 1200 on non exercising days. 1500 on exercise days. Min 3 days a week exercising. More is possible, but definitely 3. I can't definitely do daily.
As for portion size for me, involves huge packaging waste but the only way I can do it is using single serve things, like the Stoats instant oats. More expensive, more packaging, but 199 cals per pot and I can't just add an extra spoonful of oats and 'forget' to log.
I know I can do this. I've done it before and lost 12kg. I just need to get my arse in gear.
