Ladies! Hello! I've only just spotted the new thread. It's lovely to see you all.
for all of you who are irresponsible enough to join me in a glass, decaff
for the goodie two shoes amongst us
On the plus side here...
LO has got LOADS better in the car. I absolutely love parking up somewhere, going to the boot to get the buggy base out and seeing him smiling up at me from the back seat. Bless!
We've also got daytime naps sorted. He'll let me, DP or my mum put him down for naps (so no need to feed to sleep for each nap) and usually manages at least an hour at a time
a taggy blanket, light show and bouncing his mattress around have all helped him sleep. Don't know if any of those tips will help the rest of you?
The rest isn't so good...
He's dropped from the 91st to 50th centile
for weight so something isn't right. HV has been very supportive though, says she can see what a healthy, loved little boy he is and that weaning will hopefully help his weight.
But weaning, oh weaning, it's hard isn't it? He's just not interested. He'll suck on a stick of cucumber, but if we go anywhere near him with a puree, or a piece of bread, or indeed anything else, he just clamps his mouth closed. Any ideas? What worked for your LOs?
I'm not even going to mention the nights. Just far too depressing!
Anyway, good to see you all again. I hope you all get a good night's rest. Hahahahahaha!
