I wanted Fanjo Warriors form Birthing Battle Formation.

BoeuffinMum · 04/04/2009 22:48

Plus DS1 is now 11 and DS2 is now the grand old age of 8.

SpringySponge · 04/04/2009 22:53

Thanks for the thread, Nutty How many 'B's are in that title?!

Yeah, I think I could easily sway any jury that it was self-defence

Nutty, your plug in a jar sounds beautiful How much was there?

thebluefoxategreensocks · 04/04/2009 22:59

have we won a contest yet for the most threads for a single antenatal club?

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 04/04/2009 23:02

awww sorry Boff!! xx i got carried away with all the excitement and forgot.... definately for the next one ok promise!! xx

well since the other day (after consulting you and Juw) i have gone back onto the 2 solpadol twice during the day (so 60mg codine and 1000mg paracetamol in the 2 tablets x2 a day) and then carried on with the 3ml oramorph(all i can deal with before throwing up) at 8pm and 12pm

Springy - thats 8 in hounour of Boffs DS being 8 years old

BoeuffinMum · 04/04/2009 23:03

Nutts, see other thread for response about pain relief.

SpringySponge · 04/04/2009 23:04

I think MNHQ should send us all Easter Eggs in honour of our dedication to our antenatal threads.

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 04/04/2009 23:10

Springy - it would have been!! tbh there wasnt loads just a little bit, but enough to get me really excited

Boff - i havent been timing it rigidly TBH as i get up really randomly in the morning so i fit what i can in (plus i get a bit of a morphine hangover so setting the alarms is useless) TENS is on and off during the day just because i get to the highest setting (after puting it up gradually) and cant feel the nib nibs so have to leave it off for a bit then put it back on so i can feel them again iyswim (cos if you cant feel the nib nibs then its not really doing anything apparently)

have substituted the ice for baths

BoeuffinMum · 04/04/2009 23:10

I want nothing from those people. I haven't forgiven them for the books yet.

Off to bed now, my lovelies. xx

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 04/04/2009 23:11

Springy - fantastic idea!! we should put it to them!!

Night Night Boff xx

BoeuffinMum · 04/04/2009 23:13

Nutty, this is not good enough. You need to be much more regimented. The TENS works better at a slightly lower setting, they told me, not a higher one. Warm water relaxes the muscles and gets you going or prepared for gentle massage, and flexible cold pack reduces inflammation, so you need both. Do I have to come over there, woman, and sort you out myself?? No wonder you are blardy suffering.

BoeuffinMum · 04/04/2009 23:15

Nutty I want a report of a new regimented regime tomorrow please. You will have to post when you are takin your tablets. At least make someone force feed the morning doses to you. xx

BoeuffinMum · 04/04/2009 23:16

Also try TENS pads one set just below bra line, and other set around area of buttock dimples, i.e. a different position from labour pain use, much further apart.

SpringySponge · 04/04/2009 23:16

Night Boff xx

BoeuffinMum · 04/04/2009 23:17

Night y'all. xx

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 04/04/2009 23:19

Ok sorry i'm getting confused between 2 threads

i would love it if you could send me the pain team leaflet please boff xx i cant garuntee the 8am start on the drugs (like i said the morphine hangover is a bit of a bugger, i'm lucky to lift an eyelid at that time!! ) but i do solomnly swear to now stick to my boff regime from here on in!!! xx

I love it when you get all masterful btw

Boeff - where exactly do the TENS pads go for labour use? We're going to try out our TPN200 Plus tomorrow... thanks for the link to PhysioMed - you should get commission!

SpringySponge · 04/04/2009 23:24

I'm feeling a bit awkward now, with all this talk of Boff's 'regimes' & being 'masterful'

electra · 04/04/2009 23:25

Congratulations to all those of you who have had your babies - hurrah . Thanks to those of you who replied to my moan yesterday! My hypnobirthing teacher was here today to help me get rid of unresolved issues before I give birth and I have had a day where I feel really positive. What she said was that you cannot change past events but only how you continue to think about them. It's probably good that my baby's father isn't here. Perhaps I'm panicking because I know she will wonder why her older sisters have a father and she doesn't.

Do you all have a birthing ball? My baby is posterior just like last time! Any tips to get her to move round?

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 04/04/2009 23:25

Oops double post... sorry!

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 04/04/2009 23:27

oh, tens position is set at just above my bum and either side of the damaged disc and a pad on both legs just below the buttocks. its been positiond purely for the back pain rather than anything to do with preg/labour.

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 04/04/2009 23:28

Springy - LOL

OP posts:
electra · 04/04/2009 23:31

Sorry - just remembered someone asked me about when I had a sweep. I'm so sorry - I can't remember who you were but the answer to the question is that I had the sweep and went into labour the next day -- so perhaps it worked??
