So nice to hear from Barbarella. We have missed you soooooooooo much!!!! Looking forward to pix. We were so worried when we heard about the intensive care thing.

conkertree · 05/04/2009 08:05

ok dh wants to go to his work early so we can set the church up and then watch the start of the grand prix so i am being summoned to go and get dressed. better head off but will hopefully be back later to hear about mrsfossil, barbarella, boffin and anyone else thinking of popping.

hope everyone has a relaxing sunday morning.

Schulte · 05/04/2009 08:20

Yay it's Mrs Fossil vs. The Boff! This could get exciting!

BoeuffinMum · 05/04/2009 08:28

The fillies are indeed head to head. Except she's having contractions and I haven't had any since 5am. I am not exactly the front runner here.

Schulte · 05/04/2009 08:29

Oh well you could still overtake her!

brettgirl2 · 05/04/2009 08:30

Two waters breaking, how exciting.... I knew that having a second show must mean something boff!

We only need these plus seven more ladies in the next 16 hours to reach our target!!!

If your DH was only sick last night then I'm sure he'll be fine, just make sure that the bathroom is thoroughly disinfected just in case. Bizarrely I also had prawn fajitas for my dinner last night

brettgirl2 · 05/04/2009 08:51

(drums fingers) maybe all nine are birthing

Kalikaroo · 05/04/2009 08:57

Everyone's having babies except me!!!!!

Aaarrggggghhhhh! 40 + 2 and NOTHING!!!

BoeuffinMum · 05/04/2009 08:57

DH has found his matching sperm-related t-shirt ("Born in England" with sperms wearing bobbies' helmets and so on) so we are going to have a his 'n' hers reproductive fashion theme going on here. How tacky is that??? I did point out that we would have very little opportunity to wear them otherwise (they were a gift from our fave au pair, who bless her had no taste in gifts at all).

BoeuffinMum · 05/04/2009 09:00

I don't think I'll have any contractions until I have got rid of all the sprogs and so on from this house. I'm a bit psychologically blocked.

Kalikaroo · 05/04/2009 09:10

Ooooohhh, but many congrats to everyone who has had them!!

(and those who are in the process!

Kalikaroo · 05/04/2009 09:13

Boeff - I love the idea of you and DH in your matching sperm t-shirts!

Maybe if you put them on now it'll scare your other kids out of the house with embarrassment??

brettgirl2 · 05/04/2009 09:37

I am marooned in the bedroom. DH is having 'gloss paint' rage in the bathroom. Talking about what people are wearing today, his attire is quite erm amusing as he has taken a whole new approach to not ruining his clothes

BoeuffinMum · 05/04/2009 09:45

Midwife popping over in an hour.
Kids and AP getting ready to go over to friends on the next street.
Kids have indeed commented on the t-shirt but thought it was quite appropriate!!
Bored now.

electra · 05/04/2009 10:07

Good luck - BM, how exciting!!

Can you use tens machine with hypnobirthing? I'm not sure whether to try that or not...

PuzzleRocks · 05/04/2009 10:08

By BoeuffinMum Sat 04-Apr-09 23:10:44
I want nothing from those people. I haven't forgiven them for the books yet.

I'll have your egg then. When it comes to chocolate, I have no principles.

Ooh you're in labour. GO BOFF BO!

And BB, how the devil are you? How is DH enjoying beng a new Daddy?

Schulte · 05/04/2009 10:18

Yum yum

Had pancakes with chocolate spread for breakfast. DD fell off the chair though (she was helping) and onto her back - luckily I think her head didn't knock the floor. Felt very bad though for not watching her properly Well she seems happy enough now!

Off to have a bath - still suffering from period pain.

Schulte · 05/04/2009 10:19

I meant her head didn't hit the floor I guess.

PuzzleRocks · 05/04/2009 10:26

Barb - Can't wait to see the new pics and hear how life with three babies is going.

How exciting, MrsFossil is on her way too.

Boff - I'm very of your labouring attire.

SpringySponge · 05/04/2009 10:36

I nearly came to lurk at 3am! & I didn't! & I missed posting from the loo!

So nice to see BB on as well. I'm so excited

Ooooh, Barb's back! Massive yay for that! I've been wondering about her! & yay for Mrs Fossil's waters breaking! Oy vey, it's all kicking off!

Boff, I love the t-shirts Fantastic! Make sure you have lots of pictures of the event! (Why would you buy them as a gift?! )

Oh good, I'm at the end & haven't missed too much. Now I just need to organise my day around sitting at the laptop. DH is still in bed, so I'm good for the time being

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 05/04/2009 10:38

Boffin - OMG!! Go Boffin!!!! Go Boffin!!!!!! LOL at your t- shirt. I cant believe you're BORED as well, its catching i tell you!!!

AuldAlliance · 05/04/2009 11:01

Hi everyone,
A quick hello...

BB, glad you are OK and gaga about BabyBoyBolat. Looking forward to hearing all about it once you get home.

Go Boff, go MrsFossil, go, go, go....
(PS Boff, just to add another element of cultural exoticism from all the way across the Channel, painted finger or toenails is also on the list of forbiddens in France, because the doctors claim they can see from the skin under your nails whether you are having a sudden major problem or not...).

Nice to hear from you Frekkles, have you sussed out that random pick'n'mix of nappies yet?

Barabarella, hope all is well.

Springy, I once kicked DH in the balls because he pinned me to the floor as a joke and some primeval defence mechanism was triggered. He has never let me forget it.

DH just went to get the car so we could go for a little outing. Battery dead. Glad we found that out now rather than in the throes of labour...
Although in fact I am planning to walk to the hospital, as it's 5 mins away. Is this mad?

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 05/04/2009 11:19

Hey Auld LOL at all the ball beating stories walking to the hospital may be ok but in the throes of labour it may take a bit longer than 5 mins

OP posts:
BoeuffinMum · 05/04/2009 11:38

No contractions yet.
Auld, avoid doctors and you avoid rules.

SpringySponge · 05/04/2009 11:49

Auld, I've had to remove nail varnish here so they could check my oxygen levels with that clippy finger thing. Is that what they mean? Or do they mean they just look?

& this morning, I wish that I'd hit DH harder in the balls. He's being Really Irritating. Admittedly, I'm being Really Hormonal. But good grief.

& he poked me in the eye in his sleep, so I don't even feel slightly guilty anymore.

How are you feeling, Boff?
