After a bit of cajoling from some friends (some of whom I hope can join me here soon), I decided to take the plunge and start this thread.

Anyway, I have just found out I am pregnant again, got a BFP on Saturday 23rd at 12dpo, which gives me an EDD of 3rd November 2008 (or the 4th, depending on which calculator I use). This is my 4th pregnancy and will be my 3rd child. I am super excited and a little scared & nervous after a previous missed miscarriage.

I hope I don't get too lonely waiting for more BFP's to roll in! Please come and join me.

My dh has made me feel incredibly guilty. He came back from the shopping with a bunch of flowers, a new baby changing bag and a multipack of baby vests . How can I stay mad?! Until the next time that is, pmsl!

My dh also has his garage retreat. It's actually his work office/music studio and he spends more time in there than he does in the house, lol! I am fine with that, I can spend my evenings doing or watching what I want and not feel bad. We do make a point of having a few evenings where we meet in the lounge and watch tv or a film together. We watched Heartbreak kid last night, very funny and not entirely what I was expecting!

Perhaps call your midwife (of you have one and she will advise you of the best place to call?)

I am 5=1 weeks pg with number 2. have a 20 month old ds. Well i THINK im 5 weeks. Gp is sending me for early scan as i COULD be 9 weeks as i obviously didnt have a period this month but last month i was spotting for quite a while then came on and straight off again whereas normally i come on for 5 days then off...

Id like to be 9 weeks but my hear is saying only 5 weeks!

I've spoken to a nurse at the fertility unit and she has told me that it is normal in 9/10 pregnancies but I need to get a blood test done tomorrow morning just to make sure that I am not having a m/s.

Oh god... how am I going to sleep a wink tonight....

how am I going to get through the day at work?!!!

Right Duncangirl, you did the right thing. So you and I won;t be sleeping tonight. Yours for blood test mine for scan so erm... count sheep? I wish we could drink ourselves to sleep but even that's impossible. There is no point me saying keep positive because I keep getting told that and wanting to scream but yet I seem very good at passing it on to others . All we can do is pray !!!!! If you don't believe, this is a good time to start. xx

Dungun call your nearest hospital in london....tell them you are bleeding and your history.....I was bleeding with DS2 and slightly exagerated how bad as I was very very worried and needed to know (as lots of us have done) St Thomas' are great if you are near theree.....

oh dugngun girl not crazy at all. ikewym. Is it bright red blood or browny coloured?

I second the vote for trying to get seen at an EPU and getting a scan. even if you go for bloods tomorrow, there will be repeat bloods and a wait between the two. At least ith a scan you will know exactly what's going on.

Thank god...the little bit of bright red is now more like browny-pink and rather diluted.

Maybe I had good reason to be angry at DH yesterday when he dissappeared off in ASDA and I ended up lugging round a 14kg 3 year old, wriggling to no end! I told him I shouldn't be carrying that sort of weight about.....grrrr

dungungirl, it could be an implantation bleed and nothing to worry about at all. easier said than done though. i'm glad things have settled a little bit. you should get yourself off home and put your feet up.

2nd that.....go home and pout your feet up......you could always get a private scan for about £60 if you can't wait for the bloods.....

I concur ... go home. I am so bored today and my mind keeps wandering off what I am supposed to be doing. Just had to ask DH what he would lke for tea. He is having lamb and the thought of cooking it is making me feel a bit yuk. I really fancy spicy tomato pasta AGAIN. Mmmmmmm

Mmm bagel with spicy tomato sauce.... YUMMY... I have gone right off the smell of bleach (not that I used to sniff it or anything ) Put the dishcloth in some diluted bleach and just went down stairs and the smell was just awful. Bugger, there goes my obsession with bleach!

im ALWAYS hungry at the mo but never know what i want to eat! So annoying! Already off tea and coffee! Good thing though! Waiting for the sickness to kick in!

I've been drinking decaff since October so havn't had that sudden urge to go off tea and coffee however has just discovered that I am not bothered about it....

its odd, i just found tea tastes funny!

i fancyed curry last night at 9pm thats AFTER id already had my tea! Seriously im having to eat like every hour! Im really trying to eat healthy but its really hard! Theres only so many fruit/veg you can eat as snacks ASWELL as at dinnertimes!

I love Mulligitorny Soup (HEINZ) however have just gone completely off it. I do however really really want some pasta with homemade spicy sauce. Oh the thought of it is too much....
