So I don’t really know what I’m doing but trying to keep the bus moving after our BFPs. Don’t know about everyone else but I feel very anxious and worried about the whole thing. I really want to be happy and celebrate but can’t just yet

@J0DI3 aw super relieved for you, must have been so nerve racking waiting for your scan! Great to have answers and reassurance :)
I’m counting down the days to mine on Saturday. Had horrible dreams about bleeding last night as was having cramping yesterday :( it was only mild and probably more to do with the crap food I’ve been eating but everything is a worry!
Was quite nauseous most of the weekend and have to go and do a day of presenting in the office today, fingers crossed I can get through it ok!
Hope all the rest of you ladies are doing well :)

Hi all
Can I join
I’m due 28 Feb 21 after trying for years and one failed IVF.
As you can see by my name I’m an older mum to be at nearly 41. This is my first after a miscarriage when I was younger.
I have an early scan on 11 July where I should be 6w+5 I think

I’m trying so hard not to get excited as I have ZERO symptoms - not one and the clear blue weeks indicator is still showing 2-3 not 3+
Is there anyone else without symptoms / not had a change on the clear blue with a positive outcome
The cheapie pregnancy sticks are still showing progressive darker lines and I will have to remortgage my house on the amount spent on trying to get the reassurance of 3+ on the clear blue
Sorry to be a late joiner
X

Hiya. I know what you mean with the symptoms or lack of them! Im 6+6 today and didn't really get any until around 6 weeks! Now i'm wishing i had none as got constant nausea!

And about the testing - I tested 2 days before AF with a frer and got a not pregnant! Then 2 days later (day after AF) got a very faint line on a cheapie test, so tested with a clear blue to get a definite answer then got a pregnant! I think everyones different as some people get definite positives on frer really early but obviously my hgc was lower.. but all is good as i just had an early scan today and everything was good!

I know its hard but try to keep positive xxx

Xx40yearsyoungxx · 06/07/2020 12:17

@Gonesurfing yeah it’s such a weird feeling wanting to feel a bit sick for reassurance and I know I should be really lucky I don’t at the moment. I’m 6 weeks today.
I hope you feel ok today.
X

Sydgal22 · 06/07/2020 23:38

@Xx40yearsyoungxx I know what you mean about symptoms it’s stressful not having any, you almost want to feel sick! Every morning I wake up and I’m like please feel sick today 🤦‍♀️
Altho I’ve woke up this morning and my boobs are nowhere near as sore as they have been which is freaking me out :( I’m 6+3 today, anyone else experience something similar?

Xx40yearsyoungxx · 06/07/2020 23:47

@Sydgal22 - I’m 15 minutes from 6w1d with ZERO symptoms still ( my dates are very accurate because of ivf) and was googling like made on this topic when your message came through. It does seem that lots of people have been in the same boat and had normal pregnancies so we should try not to worry
What hasn’t helped me is a further clear blue ‘weeks indicator’ test that still is showing 2-3 instead of 3 +

My rational bit of my brain is saying this is totally out of our control so worrying isn’t going to help and will only make the situation worse - but it’s difficult not to

Have you done a CB weeks indicator test ?
X

Sydgal22 · 07/07/2020 00:36

@Xx40yearsyoungxx it’s so so hard to stay rational when we want it so much isn’t it. And I can imagine with IVF there’s so much more worry :(
Ye I did do a CB and got 3+ about a week ago, but I did a lot of research into them too and have seen that that’s not what they are intended for so people should try and not get too worried.
Did you say you had an early scan? I have one on Saturday, counting down the hours! X

Xx40yearsyoungxx · 07/07/2020 06:37

@Sydgal22 I have a scan too on Saturday - will be 6+5 then. It’s at 11am . What time is yours . Will be thinking of you
X

Sydgal22 · 07/07/2020 07:11

@Xx40yearsyoungxx oh good glad you’ve got a scan too, mines at 12.30. Not sure where you are but I’m in Sydney. Will be sending you good vibes from the future if you’re back in the UK!

Xx40yearsyoungxx · 07/07/2020 09:54

@Sydgal22 yes UK ! Let me know how it goes x

DAC21 · 07/07/2020 15:27

@J0DI3 Great news from the scan, love the picture! :)

@Xx40yearsyoungxx @Sydgal22 Fingers crossed for both of you on Saturday, this must feel like the slowest week to get through. Hope you both get reassuring news.

Sydgal22 · 09/07/2020 00:28

Hey all how is everyone doing! I’m 6+5 today and noticing some discharge the last two days, mainly white but today was a bit yellowy and looked like a teeny bit of brown, I’m scrutinising every whipe 😭🤦‍♀️ Anyone else experiencing anything similar?

Not sure whether to post on here since it wasn't june I got BFP it was just July! But 4+2 so not too far behind you all. Hope everything is going well for everyone.

Has anyone had a scan at 7 weeks? Was it tummy scan? Could you see much? X

Gonesurfing · 09/07/2020 07:12

@Cocoblue22

Congrats on your news! I had a 7 week scan, they first tried transabdominal but couldn't see anything (she did warn me) but I didn't really drink much before so could have been that. Then she did vaginal scan and found baby straight away! Its fine, it doesn't hurt at all and at 7 weeks more likely to see from vaginal scan as still early

She recorded the whole scan for me and even heard babies heartbeat!

Hope this helps xxxx

Cocoblue22 · 09/07/2020 07:24

@Gonesurfing thank you that's really reassuring! Was yours a hospital scan or private? I've booked a private one had them with my last pregnancy but the earliest I had one then was 16weeks so we're all tummy scans! Has a TV one years ago but at hospital so wondered if it's the same if it's at a private clinic. That's great you heard your baby's heart beat how far along are you now? So exciting x

Gonesurfing · 09/07/2020 07:31

@Cocoblue22

It was a private scan - they were really good actually, checked everywhere, measured uterus thickness and babies length which put me 6+6 (i'm now 7+2 according to their dates) but i guess it could change again at dating scan!

This is my first pregnancy so wanted some reassurance , I would def recommend xxxx

Cocoblue22 · 09/07/2020 08:54

@Gonesurfing thanks for the info that is reassuring I was worried 7weeks might be too early to see anything but what you've said makes me feel better so thank you x

Xx40yearsyoungxx · 10/07/2020 21:47

@Sydgal22 good luck with scan today
Let me know how it goes x

Sydgal22 · 11/07/2020 04:32

@Xx40yearsyoungxx aw thank you so much for thinking of me. We are delighted everything went perfectly at the scan and there was a super strong heartbeat 😊 everything crossed for you today as well x

Cocoblue22 · 11/07/2020 07:34

@Sydgal22 glad your scan went well! Cute little bean! Did the measurements match up to where you thought you were? was it a tummy scan? Good luck to anyone else having their scan soon X

Sydgal22 · 11/07/2020 10:29

@Cocoblue22 yep measurements were spot on 7 weeks so due feb 27th! Ye it was a tummy scan, I had drank so much water as had to have a full bladder and they were 20 minutes late so I almost burst! She said didn’t have to be all full next time 😂😂

Cocoblue22 · 11/07/2020 10:39

@Sydgal22 aww that's excellent then! Well done for not peeing haha I remember that from last time and they push down quite hard with the scanner don't they I remember literally running to the loo straight after with DS! It's great your measurements were spot on too! Exciting! Did you actually hear the heartbeat then? I wasn't sure if 7weeks was too early to hear it x

Sydgal22 · 11/07/2020 10:51

@Cocoblue22 I actually had to let a little out before I went in cause I was in full pain 😂
Nah you cant hear the heart beat this early but you can see it flicker on the screen and she takes a measurement of it, was 173 bpm which she said was super strong. I nearly want to tell people now ha but know I should try and wait! Are you having a scan?

Xx40yearsyoungxx · 11/07/2020 12:06

@Sydgal22 in car park having just had a scan and in shock - despite ZERO Symptoms - not one - and clear blue not going up to 3+ until way way late over 6 weeks I saw my little bean . I’m 6w5d . They went straight for an internal scan ( I though it was going to be a normal US) . Heart beat was 122 ( not sure if that’s good or bad ?)
Due 1st March 2020
Partner couldn’t come so sat alone in shock
