Oh no @Zoey92! I'm sure all is fine and you get some reassurance soon.

@APD1981 I get my bladder stepped on as well - I go from not needing to go to ow ow I need to go right now

AmyMaria2 · 16/01/2020 20:46

💙 he's still a boy! 😅 thanks everyone, was so shocked and worried yesterday! So so happy he's healthy and relieved he's a boy. Thanks so much xxx

APD1981 · 16/01/2020 21:00

Ahh fab news @Amymaria2! Glad you got your reassurance. 💙

umabb · 16/01/2020 22:21

@AmyMaria2 glad now it's all double confirmed! :))

Pegase · 16/01/2020 22:35

That's great @AmyMaria2!

So. Heartburn. What fresh hell is this?!

Rinoa · 16/01/2020 23:28

😂 I hate heartburn! Never had it until I got pregnant! Anything spicy or sour :(

RPPs · 17/01/2020 04:49

It's so reassuring hearing all the positive stories at 20 week sxan. I have mine next Wed. Still not told work. Had a big meeting today so I wore a really baggy top which us very unlike me. Nothing was said. Phew.

@twittlebee mine measured 46. Sorry that probably doesn't reasure you but if you are really nervous just ask for the stitch. I honestly don't think they'd take the risk though and at least you're being monitored regularly.

@zoey92 if it helps I was knocked to the ground by 2 fellas fighting in a pub. I slammed my hip into the floor and my DH was knocked on top of me. That was at 8 weeks and the heart is beating and I'm getting lots of flutters. Now was I lie on my side Im feeling distinct kicks. However Baby has been moving for a while but for the first few days this week I had nothing. I guess he waa just chilling out.

I feel movement most either when driving or after Ive driven for a while and on the sofa eating dinner and drinking cold drinks.

Good luck to all having scans today.

Twittlebee · 17/01/2020 07:44

oh mine is certainly on the shorted side isnt it! does say online that the shorted the cervix is the greater the risk of pre term labour too and I guess with having 2 pre term labours already I am feeling super worried. I'll wait until the next scan's measurements and maybe push for the stitch! thank you @Smiffette and @RPPs

@AmyMaria2 what lovely news!

When do you think you will tell them? Are you holding back for fear how it will be taken @RPPs ?

newbyxx · 17/01/2020 08:04

Wish I could start to feel him soon, I have such up and down days some I'm ok and feeling good and others I'm a nervous wreck thinking something has happened, today is one of those days. My metal health has been so up and down through this, has anyone else's? I have my scan on Monday just hoping everything is ok and I'm not feeling him because of my anterior placenta 🤞🏻🤞🏻 x

RPPs · 17/01/2020 08:13

@twittlebee with 2 preterm labours already it's strange that they don't consider a stitch. If you are confident and content that all will be well, thats so much better for the baby too. Push again. Use your anxiety as a reason to revisit the options.

I'm waiting for my 20 week scan to tell them. Bit nervous so I'd prefer to get the all clear before spreading the news with people I can't escape from.

AmyMaria2 · 17/01/2020 09:06

@newbyxx I know how you feel I'm the same just really want to be able to feel something now! But your scan will be great, it's just our placentas cushioning everything xx

newbyxx · 17/01/2020 09:11

@AmyMaria2 horrible isn't it! Constantly worrying! Does your tummy feel uncomfortable when you pressed down on it especially on right side? Xx

MsMiaWallace · 17/01/2020 09:20

I'm pregnant with 3rd baby still can't feel movement at 16+3

QforCucumber · 17/01/2020 09:22

I told work after my 13 week scan, I'm 19+4 now and there's no hiding it haha!

mrssunshinexxx · 17/01/2020 10:07

Hi ladies, would anyone be happy to report how much weight gain they have so far ? I'm 18w darent look how much yet at my midwife apps when she weighs me I look at the ceiling.
Was 9st 13 before pregnancy x

chocolate26 · 17/01/2020 10:09

@newbyxx my mental health has been up and down too! I do struggle with anxiety quite badly anyway, especially health anxiety so I've found this process quite hard so far. I have confident days where I'm sure everything is fine with baby and I'm strong enough to do this whole pregnancy thing and then days where I'm so worried somethings happened to baby or terrified about the pregnancy process 🙄

Congratulations everyone on good news with your 20 week scans! It must feel like such a milestone to get past. Mine is on 3rd feb and I'm so nervous! We haven't seen baby since 12 week scan as we aren't finding out gender. I can definitely feel him/her moving now at 18 weeks but my mind still makes me question that sometimes!

newbyxx · 17/01/2020 10:09

@mrssunshinexxx I was 8stone 3 before pregnancy and am now 9stone, I've been eating whatever I want thought to be honest and not going gym like I was before pregnancy. Not sure how much we're suppose to put on by 20 weeks? Xx

newbyxx · 17/01/2020 10:11

@chocolate26 that's exactly how I feel! On the bad days it's so hard to go on like a normal
Day in work today but all I want is to go home and curl up in bed! Xx

chocolate26 · 17/01/2020 10:28

@newbyxx I really feel for you ☹️ what time do you finish work? I haven't been to work since I was 6 weeks 😳 I had horrendous sickness and I still do struggle with sickness now! I also have a problem with my stomach which I've found hard to deal with and then my anxiety aswell. I'm a pre school teacher to 26 2-4 year olds and I haven't had the strength or mindset to do it so far. I am attempting to go back next week though 😊 I really want to go back and then go on maternity leave properly.

I have no idea what I weigh now! I was 9stone 2 at my 12 week scan so im guessing I'm probably 9stone 6 or something around that.

mrssunshinexxx · 17/01/2020 10:32

@newbyxx that's what I'd like to know too but google has conflicting answers apparently after 20weeks 1-2lb a week is normal but that could amount to ALOT by 40 weeks I wish I could get it go

Rinoa · 17/01/2020 10:42

@newbyxx I'm 20 weeks today and still not sure I feel anything. At night I think I feel kicks but can't be sure! They told me today my placenta is anterior so it's not that cushioning it lol must be my natural fat cushion haha 😂

Btw it's a boy! 💙

Twittlebee · 17/01/2020 10:43

I've put on 2kg @mrssunshinexxx . I do actually have a weight tracker on a pregnancy app, I'll attach the screenshot of the tracker and the app. I got it because last pregnancy I lost a stone and wanted to keep tabs on my weight this time, not losing too much again etc.

Yeah mine has been really up and down, keep debating about whether to contact the perinatal mental health team or not @newbyxx . Pregnancy is hard anyway and hormones are everywhere which can certainly contribute to MH issues.

I know, that's what I think too @RPPs I'll certainly suggest it at my next scan if I've shortened anymore. And that does make sense, if anything goes happen at least you've got some "normality" at work. I did find work a massive escape from my grief with my losses.

17 weeks today! Cannot believe how quickly its passing by

Thanks @Twittlebee I've downloaded it x

Rinoa · 17/01/2020 10:46

Adding to that I'm also not sure what we should have gained by now but I'm sure I'm over 🙈I was doing keto/low carb before pregnancy so I think it's come back quick now that I'm eating carbs. I've gained about 9lbs since I got a positive

Zoey92 · 17/01/2020 11:07

I went in for a check this morning, all is well nice strong heartbeat, thank god!
She said baby has decided to bury back down in my pelvis which will explain minimal feeling of movement.
