Sorry, can't think of a more exciting title!

Such a chatty bunch that we're racking up the threads now. Can anyone share the link for the Google Docs spreadsheet? The one I tried didn't work.

Thanks!

@BeckyButterfly it's crazy isn't you would think your body would get the message and just sleep! I'm a zombie at work, totally useless. I don't think I'll last until the 20 week scan - will definitely get a private one in at 16-17 weeks for reassurance

@ReginaPhalange89 I'm weeing loads more too

TwinkleDay · 24/01/2019 19:27

I'm not seeing any more however a couple of days last week I drank four litres of water... with no more toilet trips x

BeckyButterfly · 24/01/2019 19:39

I’m trying to force myself to drink more because I don’t drink anywhere near enough. I’ve also been making myself eat fruit which I’m doing alright with.

I also keep having really bad nightmares. Anyone else?

Jxtina86 · 24/01/2019 21:02

@BeckyButterfly nightmares or super vivid dreams are a regular occurrence now! I'm not a fan of this particular side effect I have to say!

Glad I'm not alone with the GTT - it's what I love about this forum, always someone else going through the same and it's so lovely to talk and support each other 😊

Giraffe888 · 24/01/2019 21:10

DH is sat watching footie so I’m looking at names...

SnailorSwift · 24/01/2019 21:12

Can I ask those of you talking about test results @Giraffe888 @ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts and a few others...is it the Triple Test you are taking about or something different?

Trying2bemum · 24/01/2019 21:12

@BeckyButterfly I'm having terrible nightmares, every night Sad it's really distressing x

Giraffe888 · 24/01/2019 21:15

@snailorswift it’s the bloods that they did at 12wk scan to test for downs, Edwards and Patau x

BeckyButterfly · 24/01/2019 21:28

@Jxtina86 and @Trying2bemum I’m pleased I’m not alone in it but not pleased it’s happening to you guys (if that makes sense!) it’s really horrible. I wake up multiple times through the night and then struggle to get back to sleep because I am so scared!

Trying2bemum · 24/01/2019 21:30

@BeckyButterfly I'm the same. Last night I dreamt I woke up and there was blood on the bedsheets - I was so distressed and asked myself if it was a dream and thought no this is real. It took me a while to realise it hadn't happened when I actually woke up. I went back to sleep and dreamt I was in my dad's car and he had a stroke while driving and I couldn't stop the car!! So distressing

FuzzyPixel · 24/01/2019 21:34

Nightmares here too. One of my most recent ones was that DH was cheating. I trust him completely, and he's just not the type. He was really saddened by it when I told him.

@BeckyButterfly it makes sense - whilst I wouldn't wish nightmares on anyone, it's a relief to know it isn't an uncommon symptom, and we're not alone.

ememem84 · 24/01/2019 21:37

Drinking more water but am so thirsty. But also peeing more.

And oh the vivid dreams. Do not like. except for that one about me and idris elba

Giraffe888 · 24/01/2019 21:38

In the earlier stages I had some really bad vivid dreams. I had one last week but they’re nowhere near as frequent as they were. My dreams are definitely more vivid now!

whyohwhypart2 · 24/01/2019 21:38

Checking in Smilework had been crazy lately and can't stay awake past 9! So have been struggling to keep up

Can't remember who posted the link for the cheeky wipes but thank you! My DS uses these and loves them, must save an absolute fortune so very tempted to use them and regular nappies just seem soo wasteful (although used disposable for DC1!)

Also waking up at 4 or 5am every morning Confusedsuch a pain

thedust · 24/01/2019 21:38

Is anyone watching The Hospital on BBC 2? It's at the Liverpool Women's which is where I'll be giving birth. There's a woman who had cancer 10 years ago and it's returned when she's 20 weeks pregnant. So upsetting.

ememem84 · 24/01/2019 21:42

I bought cheeky wipes but couldn’t bring myself to use them on ds. So I use them as make up remover cloths instead.

I’m still debating reuseable nappies.

We switched to reuseable cloths for cleaning and dish cloths instead of sponges. Dh thinks I’m crazy but no. Every little bit of eco ness helps.

Yukka · 24/01/2019 21:49

@thedust yes I’ve got it on - heartbreaking.

Ladies just got my screening results in fit reference, I’m about to turn 40 and got 1:2311 for downs and 1:19200 for the others. V happy with that.

Yukka · 24/01/2019 21:50

Re nappies we’ve been looking at kit and kin they’re more expensive but biodegrade in 3-5 yrs whereas pampers are 500yrs. Ouch.

SnailorSwift · 24/01/2019 21:53

Thanks @Giraffe888 I don't think my healthcare trust offers that as part of their routine 12 week tests. I would have been too late anyway as they didn't book me till 14+1!

I had a triple test with DS but they haven't booked me for one this time so I'm going to request it.

BeckyButterfly · 24/01/2019 22:01

I’m watching last night’s Hell’s Kitchen and it is steak night. I’ve never wanted anything more than I want a medium rare steak right now!

Trying2bemum · 24/01/2019 22:15

@Yukka that's great news

Also watched Hospital - wept throughout

Upside the bad dreams is - ahem - quite amazing orgasms !! Blush

Trying2bemum · 25/01/2019 03:45

Didn't even make 4am tonight 😫

RooKangaroo · 25/01/2019 05:24

That hospital programme sounds so sad :( Not sure me and my hormones are up for it; think I'd end up blubbering throughout.

I'm awake and bored. Don't want to properly get up in case I wake the toddler (very light sleeper), so browsing Mumsnet and being lazy Grin

Rubbish sleeper here too - constantly awake at 3/4am! When I am asleep, I either have nightmares about my mum (we don't speak) or dream that it's my due date and I have the baby. Always wake up so disappointed!

ememem84 · 25/01/2019 06:47

3.10 this morning. Just drifting back off to sleep when dh got up - ds was crying for his dummy.

Then awake again at 5.30.

And now again. Sigh.
