Sorry, can't think of a more exciting title!

Such a chatty bunch that we're racking up the threads now. Can anyone share the link for the Google Docs spreadsheet? The one I tried didn't work.

Thanks!

@ReginaPhalange89 that's amazing news!!! Congratulations! I'm so pleased for you. What a lovely valentines gift!

It's so worrying how the nhs screening is so inaccurate. What were your nhs measurements & results vs the harmony test? If you don't mind me asking.

Giraffe888 · 14/02/2019 18:31

@beckybutterfly I don’t like Valentine’s Day either! If you love someone why not show them all year not just because one day says so?!

BeckyButterfly · 14/02/2019 18:38

Exactly @Giraffe888! I hate how it makes people feel when they don’t have someone since I agree with you that being in a good relationship should be enough without having a day to rub it in other people’s faces.

HchyScott · 14/02/2019 19:00

@reeny19 wow that sounds brilliant and very lucky! I can’t even get on to an antenatal class or tour of our hospital as it’s so busy so I doubt I’ll be able to have a water birth either.

Kentishgal · 14/02/2019 19:00

Totally agree re valentine's day - I just remember the misery of being single on Valentine's day - as you say, why rub it in other people's faces. I also hate all the pink and red contrived romance! What a misery I am!

BeckyButterfly · 14/02/2019 19:12

@Kentishgal I’m with you. I’m practically boycotting Facebook today because I got sick of seeing it all 😂

ReginaPhalange89 · 14/02/2019 19:37

@ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts I didn't really get a lot of information after my quad testing, they basically just said it came back high risk and i had a 1 in 34 chance ! They didn't tell me what was putting it high or what was detected in the blood .

The Harmony one came back saying 1 in 10,000 ! I just don't understand how they can be so completely different. The NHS one is clearly unreliable , I think if this was my first pregnancy I probably wouldn't have the NHS screening again for another baby. All it does is freak people out !

ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts · 14/02/2019 19:39

@ReginaPhalange89 this is my first pregnancy and if we have any more, I won't bother with the nhs screening. It causes too much anxiety. I'd rather pay privately.

AIDE2424 · 14/02/2019 20:04

2 days till my gender scan! Very excited, beginning to feel little flutters now.

Keep trying to catch up on the thread but I’ve been working away finally get to go home at 11 tonight not sure how I’ll manage to drive I’m usually exhausted by then.

Hope your all doing really well! ❤️

TwinkleDay · 14/02/2019 20:25

@ReginaPhalange89 amazing amazing news !!! So pleased for you!

Had some lovely pulling sensations from the other side of my belly button today... anyone else ... baby is clearly having a play... turns me though felt sick for 15 mins x

blueeyedviking · 14/02/2019 20:29

@ReginaPhalange89 So happy for you Smile

BeckyButterfly · 14/02/2019 20:41

I still can’t feel anything at all in there. I concentrate really hard on a night to see if I’m just missing it through the day when I’m busy but absolutely nothing at all in there. It keeps worrying me even though I’m only 17 weeks so I’m pretty sure it’s normal not to feel anything for a good few weeks yet.

FuzzyPixel · 14/02/2019 20:45

@ReginaPhalange89 best news ever! Lovely.

I'm 18 weeks tomorrow and I am definitely feeling movement. I notice it more when I'm sat with DH in our den, relaxing. Smile

ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts · 14/02/2019 20:54

@FuzzyPixel @BeckyButterfly I'm 19+2 and I'm not sure I've felt anything yet. A couple of times I thought I have but now I'm not sure because I haven't felt it again

FuzzyPixel · 14/02/2019 21:06

@ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts it took a little while for me to be sure that it was movement, especially because I wasn't expecting to feel anything until much later. I just assumed it was gas at first GrinBlush but it seems to be quite a bit clearer now.

Giraffe888 · 14/02/2019 21:11

I’m 16+5 and not felt anything yet. Not expecting to but I’m excited for when I do x

BeckyButterfly · 14/02/2019 21:12

@ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts I’m pleased I’m not alone. I had the same thing over the weekend but nothing since so I think I just had trapped wind 😂

ReginaPhalange89 · 14/02/2019 21:31

I'm 16+4 and felt a few little movements but not too often. It seems to be one random little one when I'm not really paying attention, so then I'll sit and wait for more and nothing comes lol

I've had quite a few little stretching pains today .

Is anyone else getting out of breath so easily ? I feel like I'm constantly struggling from doing normal things.

Yukka · 14/02/2019 21:35

@regina fantastic news!! You can enjoy it now :)

Yes re breathlessness I’m struggling with just half a decent dog walk.

StargazyDrifter · 14/02/2019 22:12

ReginaPhalange89 that is delightful news! Congratulations! 💕

Definitely felt the baby move properly for the first time today, 19+4. I had to do a talk/Q&A session with a difficult group of people at work today, and then had a coffee as a treat on the walk back to my desk. Between the adrenaline and the caffeine I think the baby got a bit excited. It was cute.

I also had a very quick nap in a meeting room... 🙈 The opportunity was too good to pass up!

JSCRJ · 15/02/2019 06:56

So pleased for you @ReginaPhalange89, such great news. It must be such a relief. I'm not doing very well at posting on this thread, but I am keeping up regularly and was thinking of you all week.

Had our 20 week scan yesterday, all was good and we're having a little girl! DH and I were absolutely convinced we were having a boy, so it came as a bit of a shock initially! So excited now though, feels all the more real after seeing her again.

Going to be putting all of the useful pram discussions to work now, as feel I can finally start proper research (and shopping!) for her arrival!

Not had much obviously movement, the sonographer said it could be a couple more weeks yet and I'm 19+4.

Happy Friday everyone!

blueeyedviking · 15/02/2019 08:18

Happy Friday! I'm so excited about this weekend. We are going to New Forrest for a few days for my DHs bday.

I launched my biggest project to date yesterday at work so have been working stupid hours the last 7 weeks including weekends, so I can't wait for some relax time and a pre natal massage! Get some energy before next week so that I continue to deliver the launch once it's opened to the public..

Im 19+2, and getting a lot of fluttering. It only started about a week ago tho, and I think it's normal to start even later.

And yes to the breathlessness, my walk from the station to our house which is uphill is a struggle! Also I'm definitely much slower.

BirthdayKake · 15/02/2019 08:23

Regina yes I am constantly breathless! I walked upstairs to show the decorator which walls needed painting and was out of breath, so embarrassing 😂

Congratulations JSC! Another little girl!!

Trying2bemum · 15/02/2019 08:45

@ReginaPhalange89 fantastic news Smile so pleased to hear this

I'm 17+2 and had the odd bubbly sensation but nothing to hang your hat on and is over before I can really work out what it was. Looking forward to feeling something definite!

StargazyDrifter · 15/02/2019 09:01

blueeyedviking well done on the massive project! That's no mean feat with all this extra pregnancy stuff going on. I'm fast coming to the view that delivering 'normally' in pregnancy can very often mean actually working way harder than usual, in terms of what it takes out of you. Enjoy every minute of your break!

Also getting a lot of breathlessness here, all a bit embarrassing. Hoping for a sunny walk somewhere with trees this weekend and a lot of sleep! 20 week scan on Tuesday! 😍 + 😱
