Yes I had stopped having my morning packet of ready salted crisps!
I've always had low BP it seems to have dropped again don't think I'm drinking enough water will try to up it.

LookingAtTheStars89 · 23/10/2018 18:14

I'm really dizzy today too :-( I've felt close to fainting all day. I don't like that sensation it's scary!

Yakadee · 23/10/2018 18:19

It's just backache for me really, feeling very sore by the end of work.

I have my GD test on Monday - I bet I feel dizzy then when I haven't eaten. Would there be signs of diabetes or can anyone have it and not know? Xx

Alicejj8x · 23/10/2018 19:02

Tomme tippee have sent me yet again another prefect prep machine :/

Does anyone have any breast pump recommendations? I like the look of the Medela Swing, but would be keen to know if any of you who are mums already have any suggestions.

Lookingforadvice123 · 23/10/2018 19:29

Celebelly I have the Medela swing, I would definitely recommend it.

Alicejj8x why are they sending you so many PP machines?

AliceRR · 23/10/2018 19:35

@Yakadee I was under the impression you could have it and not know until your test but I’m no expert

lanalawr · 23/10/2018 19:41

@Celebelly the medela swing was recommended to me by a midwife last time. It's quite noisy but I think all the electric ones are. You don't really need to think about it though. Just stick it on and hold it there. The pump does the rest. Planning to use it again this time.

Celebelly · 23/10/2018 19:51

Thanks both! It definitely seems to be the most consistently well reviewed. I'm only planning to use it at home really so the noise won't be an issue.

Alicejj8x · 23/10/2018 20:00

@Lookingforadvice123
I honestly don't know :/ I emailed ages ago about the broken tray and then received a new machine now I come
Home
Today to another new machine!

Hi all, been catching up this evening. I've been so busy at work lately I've not had time to think about being pregnant!!
Went to the baby show at the weekend though which was a bit overwhelming but good nonetheless. Our pram has been delivered too which is exciting :)
I've been feeling quite a lot of movement, I definitely notice it more when I'm still and at home. Very little at work but I'm moving round a lot then. I've noticed he moves loads when I eat cake though Grin

Celebelly · 23/10/2018 20:23

I'm sitting watching TV and also watching my stomach literally moving. She's obviously awake and doing gymnastics in there as my whole stomach is rippling and random bits keep sticking out when she kicks. So weird!! I feel like I'm in a sci fi movie or something.

Yakadee · 23/10/2018 20:25

@AliceRR - thanks. I thought I'd heard that somewhere too. I just have my test on Monday and other than backache, I'm feeling fine. Just wondering if I could have it and not even know - apparently so! X

maxiflump1 · 23/10/2018 20:38

Hey ladies. Bit of a handhold needed here. Currently in assessment ward as bump is rock hard constantly and noticed a bit of wetness in my knickers. Rang up for advice and they asked me to come in. Midwife has done basic checks and nothing other than a few ketones in my urine so poss infection. Waiting for internal exam by doctor just to check waters are ok.

Hoping it's just a bad case of wind and a dribbling bladder! Here by myself at the moment as DH has to stay at home with 3 year old DS and my parents are away on holiday.

Celebelly · 23/10/2018 20:50

Hope everything is OK, Maxi. I've been having a lot of discharge throughout this whole pregnancy so hopefully it's just a glamorous but normal side-effect like that randomly showing up. Keep us updated xxx

Fredthespider · 23/10/2018 21:03

Big hugs @maxiflump1, I hope everything works out ok and if you need anything I'm just up the road xx

emalady · 23/10/2018 21:05

@maxiflump hope all is OK, sending you positive thoughts 💐.
Anyone looking into hypnobirthing? I'm hoping it might be quite helpful for anxiety around the birth.

Celebelly · 23/10/2018 21:06

I've got a hypnobirthing book but haven't read it yet. I think some stuff might be a bit 'wooo' for me, but willing to give it a go!

Notquiteagandt · 23/10/2018 21:07

Hope all is ok @maxiflump1 Flowers be thinking of you.

Is there a friend or someone you can call. Hate thought of you being alone.

Sure they are just being over cautious. Which is good right.

If you're ketones are up. Are you dehydrated at all? Ask about getting fluids maybe. I know my bump hurts if I am dehydrated.

You will be in my thoughts tonight xx

Notquiteagandt · 23/10/2018 21:08

@emalady I have booked a daisy foundation antinatal class they are a mix of yoga, stretching & hypnobirthing tecniques apparently. I feel im type of person who learns better by doing so think class is better for me than reading. Worth you looking into maybe?

Yakadee · 23/10/2018 21:11

Thinking of you Maxi. Hopefully you'll be tucked up in bed soon and all is OK xx

bubblybrit · 23/10/2018 21:39

Hope everything is ok @maxiflump1. Sure that it just precautionary and that they are able to put your mind at ease shortly x

AliceRR · 23/10/2018 21:56

@maxiflump1 hope everything is ok

@celebelly I’m interested in hypnobirthing but haven’t done anything about it yet

Lulabell1 · 23/10/2018 21:59

My legs and arms are soooooo itchy ive made my leg bleed its that!!!

maxiflump1 · 24/10/2018 01:01

Thanks for all the messages. I'm still here! Baby's heartbeat strong and he's wriggling away lot. Internal exam was all normal. Cervix is closed and no sign that waters are leaking. They've taken a swab and will be checking for bacterial infection and strep B but a few days for results. Just waiting for blood test results and then should be going home hopefully!
