Kirin I'm sorry you still don't feel overly reassured but I'm so pleased for you that baby had a good strong heartbeat!

Han I have a cyst too. At 6 week scan it measured 5x3 and at 10 week it had actually grown to 6x4!! Got my 12 week scan on Tuesday so will be interesting as to what size it is then as I've actually been getting more pain from it recently!

Technically I'm not sure if now an interloper on this thread as scan moved my edd to 31/08!

Relieved to hear your news kirinm - fingers crossed for you.

Had the scan yesterday. All good news overall - they’d done bloods the week before so could give me the combined NT results on the day.

Baby refused to cooperate so had to go back later in the day for more pics - finally got the one attached here. I hadn’t realised how emotional I would feel - I welled up when they played the heartbeat!

Hmm I thought getting to 12 weeks would get rid of my nausea, but it’s driving me mad. With my DS it disappeared overnight and I loved my second trimester. I don’t think the miserable weather and constant sicknesses are helping.

Congratulations Han and Bears thrilled the scans were positive.

So the last week about three or four times, I've had what feels exactly like proper baby kicks. You know where it feels like they're trying to kick through your tummy a bit. Feels like 20 week kicks maybe. I'm definitely not 20 weeks as I had a loss with the pregnancy where I would have been 20 weeksish now. Is it some weird muscle spasm? Please tell me someone else is having it too! It's freaking me out, I think because my loss it playing on my mind.

Not strong everyday some days are stronger but getting a few a day. Could feel what felt like baby rolling around this morning! And i felt a kick this morning.
Thankfully getting to the movement stage!

I'm also feeling the odd movement! And I'm certain it's the baby too rather than gas or muscle spasms, it feels like someone is tapping me lightly with a finger!

I went out to Thornton's earlier and bought two chocolate heart plaques and got big brother and big sister written on them. I'm going to put them into a gift bag with the scan photo in for the kids to open after the scan on Tuesday! All being well that is! If not I'll be consoling myself eating them!

So glad to hear all the positive news and scan results!

I fell down the stairs today after a dizzy spell (on my back). Off to the GP in half an hour to see what they say but hopefully it's something minor and fixable. No bleeding but the fall has really worried me. DH is coming home early to take me as I'm not very steady on my feet right now.

@Fia256 I'm sure I'm feeling some movement too! Scan lady told me yesterday that o have a posterior placenta so would feel lots of movement. So I think what I had been assuming was wind is actually little baby wriggles!

Hi all 👋 can I join? Been watching the thread for a while but been too scared to comment in case it was a jinx.
I'm 32 and this is our 2nd pregnancy but first hopefully baby after a mmc in September last year.
I'm 11+4 and have my dating scan on 7th March. We had an early scan at 7 weeks and then ended up having another on Monday after a massive bleed at the weekend. Thankfully all was ok with baby and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for an uneventful pregnancy 🤞 I hope everyone is as well as can be, looking forward to lots of scan pictures over the next couple of weeks 🤰🏻

Welcome @Stowie3012! I was the same up until scan day yesterday, it's a really scary time.

GP I saw was the best GP ever. He did a thorough examination and called a few moments ago to say there was blood and leukocytes in my urine but since I have no other symptoms of a UTI yet he's sending it to the lab for a culture and I'll have results Monday afternoon.

Said the dizziness and fainting can be normal due to the blood volume increase in pregnancy but wants to see the results of booking bloods taken during my scan next Thursday to check for anaemia and to also do an early glucose tolerance test after the results as my dad is a type one diabetic and while I've had no problems in past pregnancies it doesn't rule out issues in this one.

Hopefully it's nothing!

Starting to stress about my scan first thing tomorrow morning! I will be 11+6.

I was planning to tell my boss in a couple of weeks but now it seems I will have a big presentation on 16 March, and then she will decide who is going to lead a big project. I'm worried that if I announce before that happens my male colleague will get the project. (It's true that it would run through mat leave, but I would be back full-time after 4 months anyway, since afterwards DH will go on pat leave for a few months.) How realistic is it to hide it until 15-16 weeks? It's my first and not showing yet, still fit into jeans although they're getting a bit tighter at the waist - but I'm small so nowhere for baby to hide.

Han I've also got a cyst on right ovary, my notes say possible luteum I don't know what this means but they weren't worried!
