Oh stumbly let's just hope your not as far along as you think. Sorry your having to experience this uncertainty xx

Anyone else think the weeks seem to go really fast? I'm only 5+4 but i have known since 3w exactly and i can't believe I've known for 19days already.

Poochieblue · 20/07/2017 20:19

So sorry stumbly you're handling it really well bless you x

stumblymonkeyagain · 20/07/2017 20:23

We're okay...we're getting married in December and have an awesome (non-baby friendly) honeymoon booked in May so plenty to look forward to...

Will keep updating until officially out so I can keep routing for the rest of you.

PS...no twins here...so statistically still looking at the rest of you for that WinkGrin

stumblymonkeyagain · 20/07/2017 20:29

*Rooting not routing

stumblymonkeyagain · 20/07/2017 20:39

I realise this isn't AIBU...but AIBU to think that this is not a great response from a very close friend to my news. She has form for being self-centered and I'm feeling annoyed that she immediately turns the convo to herself...

Or am I just being hormonal?

Gosh @Poochieblue I feel for you in that situation 😞 I think is stick with DH and try and handle DM but not always that easy x

@stumblymonkeyagain hugs. I can only imagine how you are feeling right now. Fingers crossed your just a little bit further behind than you though x

Fefifoefum · 20/07/2017 21:04

Oh @stumblymonkeyagain how bloody awful for you. Fingers crossed for your next week appt. Massivevirtualhugs!

ZylaB · 20/07/2017 21:17

Insensitive of her stumbly and everything crossed for you!

Flatwhite31 · 20/07/2017 21:31

Oh @stumblymonkeyagain hope you're as ok as you can be. Are you still getting pregnancy symptoms? Keeping everything crossed for you. Yes that text is insensitive of your friend. Perhaps she's trying to take your mind off it by mentioning your hen, but even so, she hasn't done it in a sensitive way!

stumblymonkeyagain · 20/07/2017 21:39

Yep...symptoms are all still here. I've done some google research and there are lots of stories of people in the same position...seems about 50/50 as to whether it works out or not so will just wait and see.

How is everyone else today?

Flatwhite31 · 20/07/2017 21:47

Hopefully the fact that you still have symptoms is reassuring. Keep us posted. X

FuzzyOwl · 20/07/2017 22:07

Don't forget stumbly that the reason the dating scan is at 12 weeks is because it is the most accurate time to gauge the gestation. The sonograoher is working in fractions of a mm at times and the baby's position and all kinds of things can make a difference. Thinking of you and still having symptoms is a good thing.

martinsgirl · 20/07/2017 22:11

Hey ladies! Sorry I joined last week and haven't made it back since. Will try to catch up!
Anyone on their second/more pregnancy having different symptoms? At this stage in my first pregnancy I had sore boobs, nausea and I was so tired. This time I don't have much happening at all.
Have got my midwife apt and scan booked so it's feeling a bit more real!

mrskitty15 · 20/07/2017 22:45

@martinsgirl This is my second pregnancy and I don't really seem to have any real symptoms either. How many weeks are you?

OstrichRunning · 20/07/2017 22:54

Stumblymonkey I have fingers crossed for you. Sounds like you've a good attitude, hope it helps get you through the next week. That text was definitely insensitive!

martinsgirl all I have is slightly tender boobs and the odd wave of tiredness. I think last time round it took a couple more weeks before symptoms really showed up in force, for me anyway.

blinkineckmum · 20/07/2017 22:56

Hi everyone, my EDD is 18th March. I have a 3yo and a 1yo and happy to answer questions about pregnancy, birth and babies! No symptoms but that's typical for me. I've been so busy I have barely thought about this yet but I break up tomo (teacher). Abroad next week then around for the Summer. Hope you are all well. I will try to read the thread properly now.

Jacqueje · 21/07/2017 05:45

Hi glad found you all again! Just catching up with the thread, welcome to all the new people that have joined! Writing this stupidly early in the morning after not being able to sleep due to sore boobs, only just 5w today so feels way too early to go bra shopping but might crack and get some more supportive nonwired bras, looking a bit silly walking around work trying to discretely hold my chest! Oh and yes to every one with the bloating, still big issue with me, was getting some nausea too but think it was my multi-vitamin, switched now to taking in the evening and seems to have worked - for now!

@stumblymonkeyagain sorry to hear that scan was inconclusive, being kept in limbo not knowing either way can be really rough. Still keeping my fingers crossed for you, sounds like your friend was quite insensitive too, hope scan at EPU is more positive.

LaSurprise · 21/07/2017 05:57

Woke up feeling nauseous but no pink discharge this morning so that is a good start 👌🏼

Okay just one more day of work to get through and then I can hopefully have a nice relaxing weekend😄

OrangeCloud18 · 21/07/2017 06:19

Stumbly I am really sorry for your scan. Hope it's just you not being as far along as you thought, I thought I was 8 wks when I went for mine but was actually 6 wks (irregular cycles).

As usual I wake up and throw up... and now two days in a row it's going through my nose... Sad I'm still sitting next to the toilet just in case...

Regarding the boobs, that was my first symptom, they started feeling very full and hurting when I was about 3wks along. I can't be without a bra at home anymore becayse they really hurt and I have bought bigger bras because one of them is poking out already x)

Sallywiththegoodhurr · 21/07/2017 06:51

Oh Stumbly, I really hope your dates are out Flowers

Martinsgirl This is my fourth pregnancy (DC are 4.5, 3.5 and 1.5) and when I got my BFP I had no symptoms at all which is really unusual for me, as I've known I was pregnant before the stick turns positive with the others.

Saying that, the past few days I've had major bloating Blush, really sore/itchy/tingly boobs and waves of nausea. I'm always tired anyway so no change there Grin

Flatwhite31 · 21/07/2017 06:56

Great news @LaSurprise! Hope you don't get any more.

Poor you @OrangeCloud18. Are you 'only' (sorry to use that word, but you know what I mean!) sick in the mornings? My nausea hits with a vengeance in the evenings.

@stumblymonkeyagain, how are you feeling today? Hope you're ok. X

LaSurprise · 21/07/2017 06:57

@stumblymonkeyagain your friend was definitely insensitive with that message 🙁 Hope you're holding up okay x

NellWilsonsWhiteHair · 21/07/2017 07:03

Hope you're doing ok stumbly.

OrangeCloud18 · 21/07/2017 07:07

Flat I feel nauseous all day long but so far have only thrown up in the mornings (every morning since last Thursday).

catg83 · 21/07/2017 07:20

Fingers and legs crossed for you stumbly.

Feeling surprisingly ok here. Last time the nausea and indigestion was non stop. This time just my own personal wind tunnel.

Had apt with GP. Most of it was discussion about coming off SSRI medication and weighing up the risks and benefits. Anybody else dealing with this?
