oh and good luck @shesaid thinking of you! Hope all goes well

SheSaidHeSaid · 19/07/2017 21:17

Good news!

Scan went well, everything looks as it should. Baby looks earlier than thought but could be due to late ovulation. I'm 6+2, not 7 weeks as thought. Bleeding likely left over from implantation bleeding or something.

Saw a heartbeat too so I'm really happy.

Thank you all again for your support today, it's been really appreciated.

Yay amazing news, so pleased :)

FuzzyOwl · 19/07/2017 21:19

Oh fantastic news @SheSaidHeSaid and I am so pleased for you.

DancingUnicorn · 19/07/2017 21:25

Great news shesaid.

Sorry, been awol. Just caught up. Barely no phone signal for two days!

Hi hometownunicorn! And welcome to all the newbies.

Who mentioned fb? I'd be up for that. Had to leave the last one anyway!

Excited1103 · 19/07/2017 22:32

My stomach is officially enormous today. Can bloating really cause this much expansion? It was a bit big the last week, but it seriously ballooned today along with little crampy and stabby feelings all day long and all over. I've had some constipation and a lot of wind the last few weeks, but it's got to be 10 inches added around my tum. Has anyone else had this? How the hell do I get it to go down again? Blush

In other news, I made a man move up and then made him put his bag on his lap so I could sit down today on the train. I'd have just left it normally but I felt so tired I had to sit or fall. He then thought it was better to squash me than be uncomfortable himself, at which point I made him move the bag too. He sulked and grumbled like a petulant child the whole way though. Confused

Countdowntofour · 19/07/2017 22:36

Glad scan went well @shesaidhesaid :) I've had loads of bloating too @excited1103 , haven't found a cure but floaty dresses help lol.

Smiley1981 · 19/07/2017 22:49

Really good news Shesaid Grin hope everyone is keeping well. I'm having a serious time with the bloating, feel like a wee slug Smile I've tried mint tea, ginger, exercise, still there, ah well. Happy to have symptoms!

whyhastherumgone · 19/07/2017 22:50

@Excited1103 he sounds like a right charmer Hmm

Anyone got really visible veins?? just putting moisturiser on before bed and realised my pasty legs are a roadmap of bluey green - could be that it's a bit hot but they weren't as bad as this during the heatwave we had. I thought veins only started standing out later in pregnancy?

stumblymonkeyagain · 19/07/2017 23:12

Good news from the scan she said, I'm having mine tomorrow at 8pm but going to see if they have any earlier slots as DP happens to be finishing work early.

@Excited1103 Re the extreme bloating...did you see the photo I posted on the last thread?

I have easily been looking 5/6 months pregnant every day for 3 weeks now, it's my strongest symptom by far

xxHappyHippyxx · 19/07/2017 23:26

Omg I thought mumsnet was playing tricks on me, been refreshing the old thread all evening.. what a pudding!

Yay @SheSaidHeSaid 😄 good timing with the scan, does it feel real yet? I've still not quite got my head round it even though I've seen the flicker...

Midwife appointment was OK, nothing too exciting. Did bloods and went through a long form and signed up to get info about classes and got given vitamins even though I said I already have them and that was about it!

Excited1103 · 19/07/2017 23:37

Wonderful news @shesaidhesaid, congrats! Must be such a relief, sorry to read about your scare earlier.

@countdown, @smiley and @stumblymonkey - yes, thank you! Stumbly's poking forward tum is just what mine is doing; it also feels more solid on the left than on the right. Although, none of us have a solution yet, right? I'll ask my midwife tomorrow what is best.

@rumgone - haven't noticed any vein weirdness yet, but I do recall a friend having that from what seemed like very early pregnancy. Maybe someone else here can confirm too.

@HappyHippy - good that you got it all done, how long did it take? Someone on the other thread said 2 hours!?!

LaSurprise · 20/07/2017 06:16

I've woken up this morning to slightly pink discharge and am now terrified. What should I do?!

Do I just have to wait it out and see if it gets any worse? Sad I don't have any pain at the moment

OrangeCloud18 · 20/07/2017 07:09

LaSurprise Call your GP or midwife I think.

That's great news SheSaid!

Warning TMI, I found a new way to be sick this morning... through my nose Sad
I am just going to have to accept that nausea is going to be 24/7 and that I am going to throw up every morning from now on... 2 weeks done, 5 to go? (if it does stop around 12 wks, I am crossing fingers).

SheSaidHeSaid · 20/07/2017 07:15

@LaSurprise , call your GP as they'll refer you to an early pregnancy unit probably. That's what mine has done anyway. I panicked too when I got that yesterday, mine was pink but then quickly went brown. Will keep my fingers crossed for you.

I'm so glad I happened to have a private scan booked yesterday anyway so I saw everything was ok. Put my mind at ease and definitely feels more real now to hear someone actually tell me I'm pregnant and they can see the heart beating. I was told at the scan that if I get any more bleeding I should take it easy, call in sick from work if necessary. Don't know if the lady was going overboard but as I have the option of working from home I will do that of it comes back.

Good luck with your scan today stumbly! Let us know how you get on Smile

Hi ladies! Sorry my app was being rubbish and not letting me post, then I realised it could be because the thread had maxed out! So glad I've found you all again.

@SheSaidHeSaid so pleased your scan was ok, what a relief!

@OrangeCloud18 poor you. I'm so lucky I haven't actually vomited. My nausea is definitely better if I get more sleep.

@LaSurprise, could you give your GP a ring? Spotting and bleeding, from what I've read, is very common in pregnancy. Fingers crossed it's nothing to worry about.

I've got my early private scan on Mon, am getting so nervous already!

Flatwhite31 · 20/07/2017 07:30

Meant to say, my bloating is also awful! I'm normally size 6/8, and none of my size 6 trousers fit any more as I can't do the button up! If I suck my stomach in, of course, I don't look pregnant, but it's more comfortable, erm, hanging out and bloated! Lol. Attractive! Hmm

xxHappyHippyxx · 20/07/2017 07:54

@Excited1103 was just over an hour, but I was the last of the day so I think they were rushing to finish a bit!!

catg83 · 20/07/2017 08:05

Great news @shesaidhesaid

I am massively bloated and farty. So so attractive. Off to get a GP apt this morning to start the whole process. I had a big old tear in my last birth so was told next time would have to at least start consultant led so we will see what they say today.

Have a good day all. Hope there is less nausea and vomiting and wind for all of us!

Gallopingfeet · 20/07/2017 08:31

I was so confused! I kept refreshing the feed all evening and wondering if I'd been kicked out the group as no one was posting and it's literally all I do is read this all day!

Okay I take back the statement about that the sickness hasn't kicked in yet! Had a wave yesterday when ordering my lunch (thought it might have been hunger but I'd literally eaten two hours previous haha) but went off but woke in the night and couldn't put my finger on what was wrong so went for a wee and felt really sick then woke this morning dreaming about being sick! Went for a walk around and seemed to go off but got back in bed and I can defiantly feel it! Boobs feel like I've been punched too, good job this baby is worth it eh?

@lasuprise ring the midwife or doctor like the other ladies say, probably nothing but you'll only worry and mither yourself, it's what they are there for 😊

hometownunicorn · 20/07/2017 09:02

@whyhastherumgone it's a really hard call, as in some ways I just want to know everything is ok, but in others I think it might just make me want more and more scans. Might learn from you and stay away from the scan threads though!

Hi dancing! I hope we both have very boring pregnancies this time round.

MrsW0812 · 20/07/2017 09:03

Glad it all went well @SheSaidHeSaid

Also glad I found the new thread - thought I'd been kicked off or it had been closed for some reason and felt a bit anxious. Phew you are all still here xx

whyhastherumgone · 20/07/2017 09:05

Yes do! I won't say what they were about as don't want t give anyone else anxiety but it didn't help, let's just say that. However i have woken up feeling serene and calm (amazing what sleep will do for you) and think I'm not going to even think about it until next week now.

@Lasurprise have you managed to get in touch with anyone? Hope it's stopped now and everything is fine. How far along are you?

rebbles · 20/07/2017 09:23

@excited1103 definitely bloating! I am too...massively!
It should go down soon..
Last time I got bigger then smaller then bigger again.

NorthernBelly · 20/07/2017 09:28

@LaSurprise, hoping everything is fine.

Just to add that at some EPUs you can self refer. At Manchester EPU you can call them and talk to them or just drop in and see them. When I had a bit of a bleed with a previous pregnancy I went in and they gave me a blood test to check my hcg levels and a scan to check how things were going. They were lovely and very reassuring.
