Just marking my space! What time is your scan SheSaidHeSaid ? Hope all is fine. Fwiw I had spotting pink/brown/red in a mc pregnancy and in an on-going one (for bloody weeks). It doesn't need to mean a thing.

GWeatherwax · 19/07/2017 15:04

Thanks SheSaidHeSaid.

Congrats Drizz!

It is so fucking hot today. I have been complaining all day trying to do housework in this heat.
....as I was typing this DH just came home from Asda with a mini desk fan! 😂 I'm actually so happy now Grin

SheSaidHeSaid · 19/07/2017 15:12

Scan is at 8:30pm, Drizz, really late which is a shame but at least I've got one booked for today. Will be another reassurance to have another NHS scan in a few days too so I'm glad I called the GP now.

I'm REALLY hoping it's nothing, and REALLY hoping we see/hear a heartbeat as I've heard that lowers the risk of mc.

Sorry if TMI but it seems to have stopped anyway, it was like I had it for about 2 -3 hours and then it stopped. Hoping that's another good sign. I've put a panty liner in as it helps me keep track (not sure if that's weird or not!) and will keep monitoring.

Thanks again to everyone for the support, I had a little tear in my eye this morning because of you lovely lot. Nice to know I've got somewhere I can go for a virtual hand hold and to calm myself down a bit.

Good luck with the scan @SheSaidHeSaid

@whyhastherumgone I don't know if they'll offer me an early scan as it was never discussed last time. I'm in two minds about whether or not I want one as I feel quite relaxed and what will be will be at the moment. The anxiety will probably kick in soon... When will your's be?

catg83 · 19/07/2017 15:42

Hi all. Just had a positive test last night and according to Dr Google I am due 27th March 2018. We had been TTC but it happened much quicker than last time. I have a little boy who will be 3 in November. I have had so many friends who have had miscarriages early on so all fingers and toes crossed here. X

MrsLoz · 19/07/2017 15:49

Phew I thought you'd all closed first thread and done a runner without me then 🤣

Sorry if TMI but anyone got any recommendations for wind/constipation??

YouCantArgueWithStupid · 19/07/2017 15:52

Hey again all! My EDD is 11th march. @SheSaidHeSaid I bled profusely every 29 days until I was 7 months pregnant. It would soak through my jeans it was that heavy. She's now on the beach with her dad whilst I hide in the shade trying not to fall asleep. Good luck tonight x

stumblymonkeyagain · 19/07/2017 15:54

I've been feeling rough today, not sickness but really really tired and also really really lightheaded and dizzy.

I've been having the dizziness a bit when getting up to fast but I'm even feeling lightheaded lying down today!

It's a very weird feeling...a bit like the withdrawal symptoms I get when I've forgotten to take my Venlafaxine but I definitely haven't....

Have taken the day off work today as I quite literally can't keep my eyes open and have just slept from 11-3.45pm after a good nights sleep (I'm self employed).

stumblymonkeyagain · 19/07/2017 15:56

Ah...dr google tells me I've probably got low blood pressure and I'm dizzy because I've been lying down for too long!

catg83 · 19/07/2017 16:16

@stumbleymonkeyagain I was just about to ask that. I had low blood pressure at the beginning last time round. The only helpful thing I can suggest is rolling over to your side before you get up.

stumblymonkeyagain · 19/07/2017 16:29

Thanks @catg83 I will definitely try that

@SheSaidHeSaid Two of the aforementioned cats crossing their front paws for you albeit while they are asleep

Just checking in to new thread. Been feeling like absolute crap lately, tired, no energy, nausea and a funny taste in my mouth all day.
Supposed to be looking for a job but just have no motivation for it.
Need to start thinking more positively!

SheSaidHeSaid · 19/07/2017 16:45

Aww, they're beautiful Stumbly!

Checking in to the new thread too!

Touch wood feeling okay today apart from a bit of an upset stomach!

Poochieblue · 19/07/2017 17:34

Has anyone got any tips on how to explain to DH about the bone crushing exhaustion?! He just keeps brushing me off and rolling his eyes, feeling a bit Hmm about talking to him anyway as he already has 2 DDs 17 & 15 so feel like I'm being compared to his ex (although he was 17/19 when they came along so he probably had his head up his ass!!) I'm friends with his ex so once I'm home and telling people I'm going to be asking her.
I even said to him the other night after he was particularly offish with me wasn't she tired at the start with the girls. And the response I got was "well no and she was working as well" (am on holiday so hoping some of it is the heat) so made me feel about a mm tall Blush)

NorthernBelly · 19/07/2017 17:58

Glad I found you all again, thought my phone had gone funny!

@SheSaidHeSaid, thinking of you - hope 8:30 comes around quickly and you get to see little one.

I've been feeling a bit yucky today - found that strawberries and those little graze snack boxes have helped (although they're not helping my bank balance!)

ZylaB · 19/07/2017 18:11

Hi all, fretting as feeling a bit crampy and it's not the ligament/womb stratching type cramps. Cross everything because I'm not doing this again!! 😭

WiIdfire · 19/07/2017 18:14

@Shesaidhesaid dont worry too early. I've already had the same two weeks ago, but my scan on monday was fine. Just a subchorionic haematoma.

Sallywiththegoodhurr · 19/07/2017 18:15

Okay so I vow to of taken OPK today (Yeah right!) it came up with a really strong positive as I was dunking it and I don't think it could get any stronger. It's the first day of my missed period technically so i'm itching to do a PT just to see how strong it is BlushGrin

TeaAndPjs · 19/07/2017 18:58

Hi ladies :) ooooh new thread :) hope everyone is doing ok :) I'm just in from a busy day at work and glad to be sitting down, I'm done in.

Need to back and read what I've missed over past few days :)

Speechie14 · 19/07/2017 19:43

Hello. Thanks for the new thread. Nothing new here. Feeling a bit queezy and really tired, although that might be the non sleeping toddler. Hope the scan goes well shesaidhesaid.

FuzzyOwl · 19/07/2017 20:30

Congratulations and welcome @LaSurprise @Drizz and @catg83

Gorgeous cats @stumblymoneyagain

Sending lots of positive vibes your way @SheSaidHeSaid

I just feel so tired but suffering from insomnia, so it is making things even worse. Last night was so hot in our house, but I am hoping it will be cooler tonight. I absolutely hate this waiting and worrying phase.

FuzzyOwl · 19/07/2017 20:33

@ZylaB I think all kinds of cramps are quite normal and sometimes digestion related rather than anything to work about.

@MrsLoz you can take lactulose which you can buy over the counter.

That's awful of him @Poochieblue. Do you think he would go along to your first midwife appointment and listen to her? Otherwise perhaps show him some website that advise about it. The exhaustion really is overwhelming at times and a supportive partner makes a huge difference.

Bluebell93 · 19/07/2017 20:39

Congratulations to the new guys! There's a lot of us here now aren't there?

Fingers crossed @shesaidhesaid

Not many symptoms today which worries me a little, but really trying to go with the flow and not freak out too much as very early days. Think my morning upset stomach has calmed down since taking a pregnancy multivitamin - I expect it's the extra iron doing it!

@GWeatherwax I was so hot last night I barely slept at all! I get hot easily before I was pregnant but I swear it's been worse since (or the weather is just warmer 😂). Looking forward to autumn and it cooling down...

whyhastherumgone · 19/07/2017 20:44

@hometownunicorn i haven't booked one yet. Like you have been feeling really chilled, started looking at scans and came across some threads people had posted about scans and then made myself really anxious! Have talked myself down again now and feel fine again, much more positive, but am wondering if it's a sign that an early scan will make me worse?? Might see how i feel in a couple of weeks time, all being well.
