My LO did that on our last scan she was back to front so we saw the back of her head lol

Well, I got £200 off and pick up my new (not brand new just new to me ) car tomorrow Smile I would call today a success

MotherofA · 26/01/2017 14:36

Ahhhhh Hugh haha these babies !
Can't wait for my next scan 22 Feb .

Well done Carol that's amazing !

Carolann8584 · 26/01/2017 15:20

I'm not sure I know what they feel like haha. Didn't have them with DD , I get weird pains now and again but it passes . Could be BH I guess ... Confused

SummerBobbi · 26/01/2017 19:53

I've been getting BH too, a lot earlier than my last pregnancy and at least once a day. 31 weeks and sadly my belly button has popped :( no stretch marks yet though! No growth scans for me this time, so I have to wait until she arrives to see her...keep wondering what she'll look like. Carol glad you got your car sorted! Ours died before Christmas and we finally got one the other week...just as well I was starting to struggle climbing into my partners work van!

MotherofA · 26/01/2017 21:07

My belly button is revolting , like a stubby penis haha . No stretch marks here either . I have been applying cocoa butter twice a day though in the hope ! Grin

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 27/01/2017 00:26

Great news about your scan Hugh, and that they're happy with your baby's growth.

Well done on the new car Carol, and it's great that you'll have it so soon. I also have another scan on Tuesday - can't wait.

I've been having BHs in the morning for the last few weeks (well, I think that's what they are :) ).

Stubby penis Mother Grin Mine is really shallow but hasn't popped out yet. I also don't have any stretch marks but just know with my luck that they'll probably show up in the last few weeks!

What are you all thinking about for pain relief in labour?

SummerBobbi · 27/01/2017 07:52

Mother haha mine too, glamour of pregnancy hey.
I've been slacking on the cocoa butter, getting a bit itchy now at the sides of my bump so may have to start.
Genghis my 'plan' (trying not to have a set plan as babies have their own ideas! ) is gas & air and a pool birth at home. Same as my first but I was in hospital with him.

Anyone had any weird pregnancy symptoms or things due to pregnancy? I've ended up with non allergic rhinitis due to hormones...sticking cream up your nostrils, like I said glamour!

Carolann8584 · 27/01/2017 08:43

No idea what I want in terms of pain relief, FTM Smile

I'm not sure if I was dreaming and got woken up or it was really and it woke me up but had very bad cramping pains in my lower bump, I think I remember screaming but not sure if I was asleep or awake. Was alone last night so can't even ask my OH as he was still away, back today Grin

That sounds lovely Bobbi ...well, as lovely as labour can be Grin. I would really like a water birth but unfortunately they don't do them over here. Urgh to the rhinitis, I had a really bad cold the other week and that only lasted a week and it was so annoying, so lots of sympathy to you!

Ha at the belly button aversion Hugh, I wonder if you can put a plaster over it if it pops out?! Thanks for sharing your pain relief experiences - I think my "plan" is similar in that I'll try the hypnobirthing too but unfortunately they don't have gas and air here :( It's actually an epidural or nothing, which is a bit crap as I'd prefer not to have an epidural but will obviously see how things go.

Carol that sounds like a strange dream/non dream. Is your bump sore at all now?

I decided to be mildly proactive earlier and attempted to open and close the pushchair - I opened it no problem but can't close it down properly! At least I've another 8 weeks to work it out!

Carolann8584 · 27/01/2017 10:14

Genghis No pain at all now. I keep trying to remember if was real or a dream, I often dream I'm asleep and dreaming Confused

Carolann8584 · 27/01/2017 10:15

Come to think of it, she hasn't done her morning dance, might just wake her up Smile

Carolann8584 · 27/01/2017 10:16

As I clicked post she rolled so maybe she had a bad night as well and is having a lie in lol

MotherofA · 27/01/2017 13:29

I dream about having the baby most nights . Haha Hugh regards the belly button aversion me too so you can imagine my pain . No one is allowed to touch my belly button and looking at it makes me feel quite sick !
Also got a stuffy nose here Hmm

Hugh Maybe, not had any ligament pains, since the early days of the pregnancy and then they were achy rather than screaming in pain.

My OH has recently had a bit of an obsession with my belly button, it's like he's communicating with the baby in Morse code or something, makes me feel a bit queasy when he does it. I just wriggle away when he tries to do it lol

Carolann8584 · 27/01/2017 16:05

Well after a cr@p start to the week, I now have my family wagon Smile and Emma's Diary have just given me free tickets to a baby and toddler show her in Manchester. It's not until I'm 39 weeks so hoping I will have everything I need by then but it would still be nice to go providing my little camper is still camping and I can fit behind the steering wheel Grin

MotherofA · 28/01/2017 07:51

Hahaha who would have thought belly buttons could provide so much entertainment Grin.
Ah that's great carol !
I'm struggling with a bit of depression/ anxiety just as I did in my pregnancy 10 years ago . Not getting any support either .

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 28/01/2017 08:53

Great news Carol - long may this car last!

Sorry to hear about the depression/anxiety Mother. Are you able to request support from your midwife/GP?

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

MotherofA · 28/01/2017 13:38

Thank you 😊 I've been avoiding it all pregnancy as I don't want it on my notes and don't want to take anything . I just keep thinking not long now . I can be fine for 2 weeks then just melt down . Hope you are all having great weekends .

SuperDuperJezebel · 28/01/2017 20:02

Hi @HughLauriesStubble - a couple of our March babies made an unexpected arrival on 27 December. They seem to be doing exceptionally well, and they're gorgeous ☺
