Congratulations Bridget! It sounds like you had a tough labour so I hope you're recovering well.

I'm glad the bfeeding is going so well Name - that's one of my concerns (more so than the labour tbh) so it's good to read that it can go well from the start.

Congratulations Hugh!!! Wonderful news...I can't believe she turned at the last minute, but I'm so glad it all went well and you're both doing grand. I'm also really pleased to read that the hypnobirthing techniques helped - I hope it'll be the same for me!

I'm loving all the baby news, it's so lovely to read.

How are you getting on Carol? Good luck with the sweep on Tuesday. Cute dog btw, even though I scrolled through this page and was like 'oh, a baby picture' and had to do a double take.

Anymore movements Troodie, Garathea or Sweetpea? Sweetpea, I love seeing the movement imprints on my stomach too though DH thinks it's horrific.

Sorry I've been quiet the last week. Today I'm 38+6 and went to the hospital for a bit of a meet&greet, and ended up being monitored for an hour or so. The good news is that I'm contracting and am already dilating, but the bad news is that they are a bit concerned about pre-eclampsia developing because I had high bp and my feet, hands and face are still swollen. Anyway, they decided to give me a sweep and I'm to go and see my consultant tomorrow to discuss things further.

Genghis no signs that she's coming any time soon, hope a can have the sweep tomorrow, after 2 failed attempts. I still have the pain in my ribs, will bring it up again with MW tomorrow.

Are they going to induce you if you BP and swelling are still the same? They were slightly concerned when my BP stayed high a couple of checks but as I don't have any other symptoms or swelling they soon changed their mind and stuck to letting things carry on. Plus now my BP is "normal" again

Baby troo is very active and putting a lot of pressure on my bits.

genghis well done on being dilated, sorry to hear that you may have pre-eclampsia. At least they are aware of it and monitored you.

hugh can't believe baby did a full flip at the last moment. Didn't think there would be enough room left for babies to do that. But scary really. But glad your both okay and well. Are you finding your movement is now restricted due to the section?

troodie I'm not feeling any pressure ATM and am due Friday. This baby does not want to come out!

I'm not really sure Carol. I'll get my bp checked tomorrow again with the consultant and see what he says then. My bp has been fine to date so I was surprised that it was high(ish). Funny how yours was high and is now considered 'normal'. Fingers crossed for your sweep tomorrow!

Your baby is clearly just biding its time until Friday Sweetpea and will then arrive nicely on time (wouldn't that be great?!)

It's bearable pressure so she probably has a bit further to drop. Starting to think I'm gonna have to be induced. Husband was 16 days! Overdue.

Feel like baby's head is going to fall out she's that low! So painful to walk.

Ah congrats Hugh and any others who have had their babies ! . I haven't been on here since having baby been a tad preoccupied haha . Can't believe she is 10 days old today !

I wonder who will be last man standing on here with our content overdue babies! Lol still no progress, though I think I might have felt some very light cramping earlier, but I just put it down to baby lying on an organ/bladder.

How's everyone today?

Does it matter what position she is in for them to do a sweep on you? I'm feeling fine, still no pressure or pains. 3 days to go too! Will definitely be joining the overdue club! Will eat a pineapple later in the hope it does something!

I don't think so Sweetpeabec think the state of your cervix is the main thing.

I shall be getting the pineapples in today also.

My mw says I can go 12 days over before they induce me, so that'll take me into April

Yeah think I'm the same with the timeframe of when they will induce me. Think she will do a sweep on my next mw visit when I'm 4 days over. Never had one before, so not sure what to expect.

I don't think it matters for the sweep

Hope I don't go that much over already 5 days, if I go 2 weeks over she will share my DMs birthday. She's 60 this year.

Thought I might have gone last night, went to the pics with my DM to see Beauty and the Beast. My LO went crazy everytime a song came on had quite a few pains and twinges.

I've only just started losing my plug. Not due til Monday but it doesn't look like baby is moving anytime soon. So ooo fed up.

The latest I'll be induced is 9th April. So I have a feeling I will be one of the last if not the last.

Congratulations on your little one Hugh. Hope you are both doing well.

DS is long too! He's still not quite big enough for 0-3 sizes but he's too long for some of the newborn stuff. Mothercare fits best, John Lewis is getting a bit tight, and Jojo Maman Bébé was too short from day 1! Shame because I bought a few nice sleepsuits from there.
I've also ordered some clothes from H&M because they do interim sizes (1-2 months and 2-4 months) and I've read somewhere (most probably MN!) that H&M baby clothes are quite long.

Well another BP profile, I'm a pro at these now.

Couldn't do sweep again but induction booked in for tomorrow. Due to high BP today, only having profile done to see if I can go home and come back tomorrow
