Hi I've just found this thread! I'm due 18th march, got gestational diabetes, had a successful ECV and I'm wanting a VBAC but no signs of anything yet and I'm not in with my consultant until 40+4 (weds 22nd!) x

troodiedoo · 17/03/2017 05:14

Hello LozzaRoseMumOf3tobe hope you get some action soon. I'm due to see midwife for a sweep on weds too but I hope I won't still be having these pains by then lol

Hugh
The feeding seems to be going well so far (touch wood) apart from the fact that I'm getting very little sleep!! He is indeed a great eater - I guess he takes after his parents (we're greedy foodies)! Grin It started even before he was born as I was starving for most of my pregnancy.
On the up side I think I might hopefully lose the extra pregnancy weight pretty easily - it's difficult to find the time to eat enough calories to keep up with him!
Weirdly my calves got really fat during pregnancy but they've gone back to normal now, yay!

PS Hugh Hope your contractions were a sign that things will soon kick off for real!

Quickest appointment of my whole pregnancy! In and out in 20 minutes.

BP check all fine. Apparently she's very low and in position. Come on baby! Grin

Sweetpeabec · 17/03/2017 11:11

Carole well done, glad your baby is engaged and hopefully won't be long until he or she makes their appearance

troodiedoo · 17/03/2017 12:43

Come on March babies out you pop! Mine has gone back to sleep after her nocturnal shenanigans Hmm

Wish I could go for a walk, I live at the top of a hill in a very hilly area, so panic my waters will go while I'm at the bottom Sad

Doing stairs instead, hoping the bounce will help

troodiedoo · 17/03/2017 13:06

Sounds promising HughLauriesStubble

Husband is pumping fitness ball up for me so I can have a bounce.

Tini17 · 17/03/2017 15:12

Hi all,
Just came across this thread.
Due 26th but soooooo fed up already, wish she would stop teasing me with false alarms and just turn up!
Congrats to all mummies with your new babies already (quietly envious) x

Sweetpeabec · 17/03/2017 19:57

Hey everyone, any developments? Got my 38 week scan tomorrow, hopefully I get told the baby is engaged x

Sweetpeabec · 17/03/2017 20:00

39 weeks, not 38! Getting impatient x

troodiedoo · 17/03/2017 20:04

Nothing here, bit more pressure but nothing else, I get nervous she's gonna come at the weekend, we have my DSSs who I love to bits but feel like I have to cross my legs til Monday so they won't feel pushed aside. If I went into labour while they were here I know my OH would feel bad about dropping them back early. I know there's no point in worrying about it coz it's out of my control.

Hugh good luck tonight hope your LO makes an appearance without any problems Wink

Nearly fully recovered from my cold/sore throat. Yay. Bump is very achy and tight tonight plus baby's head is very low so pressure is pretty bad.

Carolann8584 · 18/03/2017 02:19

Also love going on post labour ward at my hospital, when I go for my BP checks that's where they send me. All the cooing and little cries from the newborns is so so nice.

Sweetpeabec · 18/03/2017 06:32

Hey Hugh how are you doing? Did your LO make an appearance?

carol hope you have a good weekend with your DSSs and baby is a little patient, don't stress about it though x

Hugh It sounds like you're making progress. Must be frustrating that it's been pretty slow but hang on in there and hopefully baby will be here soon. Best of luck!

Sweetpeabec · 18/03/2017 11:40

I'm 2/5ths engaged! Hopefully it keeps going. Will have to start waking lots and have sex!

Good luck Hugh hope things pick up for you x
