Omg name not long now then ! Fingers crossed ! I pretty much said the same about champagne / prosecco haha we have quite a bit of prosecco in the cupboard so might have to settle hahaha
Yes good luck to Slurple too . Anyone else got any progress to report ? I'm becoming quite emotional and shit scared basically Smile

bobbis · 06/03/2017 19:43

Ooh name hopefully things progress for you, I went 4 days overdue last time and that was more than enough...feel for you!
Hope slurple is getting on okay. I'm shitting it for my induction on Wednesday. Becoming all too real now...been blitzing the house all day as a distraction. Hate the thought of leaving DS4 whilst it happens too :( OH has given me strict instruction to rest now, but I'm all fidgety.
I wasn't too bothered about alcohol, wasn't a massive drinker before pregnancy. Went to my baby shower yesterday and the wine was out, quite fancy a small glass now.

Carolann8584 · 06/03/2017 20:24

Oooooo it's exciting Grin good luck this week with CS etc....

Had another BP profile today, after waiting 2hours for results they couldn't give them to me! So they will ring me in the morning.

OH took me to Nandos for tea mmmmm yummy

I've got a bit of back ache today but that might be the hospital bed today, couldn't get comfy at all

Garethea · 06/03/2017 21:41

No progress to report here but it is still early days for me. I'm just unrealistically optimistic! My belly is super sore, like baby is going to pop out the side. Thought I was having contractions yesterday night, quite painful but I managed to fall asleep and been fine today, just back ache so they can't have been.

Good luck for you ladies who are getting closer to meeting your LOs. Finger crossed for you that all is well.

SlurplePurple · 07/03/2017 01:02

He is here!
A really long time spent on the operating table to safely get him out but it was worth it.
He is perfect and not too light for 37 weeks (3kg).
I haven't slept in 23 hours now but it isn't baby's fault, I'm just strange and on a high now :)

Carolann8584 · 07/03/2017 01:24

Wow first baby announcement! Congratulations Flowers

Garethea I've been busy all day so not really thought about it much. At home on my own now and panicking a bit.
My son was spontaneous labour, 8lbs and no complications so I guess it's the fear of the unknown getting to me this time.
I'm excited to meet her though :)

Garethea · 07/03/2017 13:35

Aw no Bobbis. Don't panic. I'm sure every thing will go smoothly. Just think... In just over 24 hours you could be snuggling your gorgeous little one.

Have you got a nice first outfit planned?

Garethea we're not really fans of pink (which is difficult when shopping for a girl!) but picked up this cute tiny baby outfit. We panic bought a load of small clothes, hadn't really prepared for a small baby.

Hugh 37 weeks tomorrow, so full term at least. The monitoring will put my mind at rest, but your right about it feeling out of my control. Double checking all the hospital bags now and packing DS bags for a stay at granddads. He's just excited he gets to have a stay away!

What is everyone's favourite outfit they've bought so far? Curious to see some pictures :)

MotherofA · 07/03/2017 19:28

Ah bobbis good luck ! Can't wait to start seeing some pics of little ones !
I am getting very scared now . A friend has asked me to go for lunch but wants me to drive to her way which is 20-25 mins away . Would you guys do that the day before 39 weeks ? I may be being a tad OTT . Haha.
Ohhhh not sure what my fave outfit is , I do have a bit of pink here haha . I really want some liberty print bits but everywhere seems so expensive Hmm

Bobbis that is cometary adorable. Also really like your duvet cover!

I haven't really bought anything exciting as we don't know what we are having so the choices are limited. The cutest thing is the bunny romper that I posted earlier. It arrived this morning and is sooo soft.

I know what you mean Mother. I have an excuse to stay close by cos my DH drives to work so I'm a little housebound. You should be ok 25 mins away. Have you asked her to come to you? You'd be very lucky/unlucky (depending on how you look at it ) to give birth so fast that it's a problem.

Garethea · 07/03/2017 20:43

Cometary? Is that even a word? I meant completely

bobbis · 07/03/2017 20:51

I didn't go far with my last pregnancy towards the end. I've had my hospital bags packed in the car for weeks this time too. Do whatever you feel comfortable with and have a plan in case you go into labour.

:) thanks Garethea, I got it from Asda. That bunny outfit is so cute!
We've got a lot of rainbow stuff...think these are my fave
