My sister bought that dress too Carol, it's lovely :)

BridgetDoodle · 07/03/2017 21:13

All go here! Had some tightenings and cramps today and small leak in the afternoon. Booked in to see my consultant at 6, on examination the rest of my waters went! Having contractions now but all very manageable. If I'm not in active labour by 2pm tomorrow I will be induced!
Good luck Bobbis!

I'm not a fan of pink or blue either, so I haven't bought any blue despite knowing it's a boy. I recently got some really gorgeous colourful clothes from Frugi in their sale. And one of the first things we bought was the "going home" outfit which is a white babygrow with multicoloured stars from JoJo Maman Bebe. Oh and I was feeling really sad about all the cute clothes with cats on being too girly, as I love cats, and my lovely sister gave us a really funky little unisex romper with cats on it from Mamas & Papas Smile

Wow good luck Bridget !

Loving seeing everyone's clothes ! I went up and looked through drawers to try and pic a fave but couldn't haha. Loving those rainbow bottoms .

Think I will ask her to come to me actually as it would make me around 45 mins from hospital and with having a section I wouldn't want to risk anything going wrong .

Hugh I can't wait to hear what you are having ! I vote girl no idea why !

I have a couple of lovely sleepsuits from JoJo and a jacket and matching hat with elephants on which I packed although it's 0-3 Smile

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 07/03/2017 22:47

Congratulations Slurple - I bet he's gorgeous! I hope all is going well?

Good luck tomorrow Bobbis..I hope you manage to get some sleep tonight. Oh and the wee outfit is so cute - I love anything bear related.

Yikes Bridget - good luck!! How exciting...I can't wait to hear how you're getting on.

I'm also thinking girl for Hugh. You'll probably have twin boys now :)

I hope the baby doesn't pop out your side Garethea - that would be a shock! How far along are you again? Sorry, I know you mentioned it already.

I think that's a good idea Mother, it doesn't sound so bad when you say 20/25 mins but then factoring in the return, going to the hospital etc etc. I'm also totally with you waiting for a drink. It's not even that I'm hanging for a glass; just the option of having one when I feel like it.

Sorry to read the sweep was unpleasant and didn't do much Name. Have you resorted to any of the "labour-inducing" tips yet?

I love the baby clothes pictures and talk - All my stuff is packed away though I also have a JoJo babygro for the baby's going home outfit (like yours Name but with the gold stars). DH could not get his head around the fact that I had bought a special outfit especially when we'll live about five minutes away from the clinic. Mind you I'll probably be so anxious about him driving slowly that it'll take us an hour instead..

NameChange30 · 07/03/2017 23:06

Genghis
Ooh the babygrow with gold stars is gorgeous too!
I think the only labour-inducing activities with any evidence behind them are nipple stimulation, which I haven't got desperate enough to try yet! and sex... which I did try but sadly my PGP made it difficult Sad

Bobbis I love the rainbow stuff! Our nursery is rainbow as we miscarried before this pregnancy so this little one is our rainbow baby.

That dress is so cute Carol. Bet you can't wait to get you LO in it!

Good luck Bridget and Bobbis! Flowers sending positive thoughts your way today!

I agree with Genghis. Get her to come to you Mother. I'm sure she won't mind.

I'm 37+2 today. Think I may have lost some of my plug this morning. It might not mean anything but stepping in the right direction!

Hopefully it will be all systems go all of a sudden for you Name!

38 and 6 today still no signs Hmm

I've caught my OHs man flu, so full of a cold now, sore throat, head and neck. Sleeping is getting more difficult. My back is aching behind my ribs as well Sad

Bright how are you getting on?

Anybody else had any progress? Smile

ShyLittleFrog · 08/03/2017 13:23

Congratulations Slurple - Enjoy your baby boy Flowers and send us some labour vibes.

Good luck Bridget - Waiting to hear your birth announcement anytime now.

Oh no Carol - I'm 37w and feel so heavy and sluggish. Getting a cold now would finish me off. Hope yours clears away soon.

No progress to report. I've felt a few period-like niggles since this morning, but it could also be the effect of iron tablets on my tummy.

Good luck everyone !

MotherofA · 08/03/2017 13:45

DD 10th birthday tomorrow, then off for ELCS first thing Friday !
If it's not done now it's not going to be! Grin

MotherofA · 08/03/2017 13:46

Oh you were all right I've asked my friend to come over this way tomorrow .
Sorry to hear you have a cold Carol that's the last thing you need . Get well soon.

Thanks Hugh ! Smile I just feel emotional and a tiny bit stressed but that's it .

Carolann8584 · 08/03/2017 16:11

After a productive start to the week I've hit a wall today. Ventured out to buy a bit of shopping and some nappies and wipes. Thought I found a could deal with the last lot I bought but then I discovered Mamia at Aldi- award winning nappies for £2.39 for 44 nappies! Wow.

ShyLittleFrog · 08/03/2017 16:40

They're great, aren't they. I only used Aldi's for DS1 too after I discovered them. But I still bought some Pampers Sensitive size 1 to pack in the hospital bag, just because the cartoon prints are so cute, shallow me Blush.

Carolann8584 · 08/03/2017 17:03

shy the nappies in my hospital are all the freebies I got from Emma's Dairy etc Grin so there's Huggies Pampers Mamia plus I think I've got a little angel one from Morrisons Grin

Shock I'm slightly jealous. I've only just come across that website, I didn't know it existed until this morning they mentioned it in the Victoria Derbyshire programme. Going to sign up now and hope it's not too late for freebies.

Carolann8584 · 08/03/2017 18:42

shy I just printedd the vouchers and took them to Boots. Make sure you get the Bounty app as well. They do a pack for new born and one for mum as well. You need the app to show the assistant at Boots Grin

So that's 2 packs from Emma's and 2 from Bounty Grin

MotherofA · 08/03/2017 20:26

Has anyone else been peeing every 15-20 mins ? Got tummy ache too Envy.
Kind of wish I wasn't meeting my friend tomorrow. Argh lol

ShyLittleFrog · 08/03/2017 21:19

Wow, thanks for these great tips Carol ! I was going to do that today, but all I want now is shower and bed. Nite all! Hoping for more birth announcements tomorrow.
