I would let the midwife know Carol Smile

Carolann8584 · 04/03/2017 13:26

Ahh yes had milky discharge the past couple of days as well. OK had shower, been to the loo, changed so everything clean and dry. I will let MW know and will check again in a while, I still feel wet tho.

MotherofA · 04/03/2017 13:46

How exciting ! Grin

Carolann8584 · 04/03/2017 15:02

Still leaking. No scent or colour. Left voicemail for MW no reply yet Hmm

ShyLittleFrog · 04/03/2017 15:14

Sorry I'm bumping into your well established support group !

Carol - How exciting your waters have gone ! With my first DS, 5 years ago, my waters trickled quietly like that. You need to let midwife or hospital know though, they'll want to check you and monitor risk of infection. I'm waiting for your Birth Announcement anytime now then ;D

How is everyone ?!

I am 36w, placenta still borderline praevia. I have a c-section + steroid injections planned for 38w. But they still want to give me a scan a couple of days before that to check if the placenta moves out of the way. So I still don't know for sure if it's going to be ELCS or VB. Trying to plan childcare and pack for both eventualities. I can't wait !

MotherofA · 04/03/2017 15:37

Yes Carol keep aware of any colouring etc as my DD passed her first bowel movement in utero and waters were trickling , not what I expected .
Welcome shy !

Been so distracted picking up the boys etc didn't even notice the MW didn't ring me back, still feel wet, leaking a little and have a thicker milky discharge Confused

Did I read somewhere that coz her head is down she could block/slow down waters breaking?

ShyLittleFrog · 04/03/2017 18:15

Yes, as her head moves, it can stop or let the flow out.
