Ah my mum is going to be Nana too Smile
Best of luck for your scan tomorrow, I'm sure it will be a better day Smile

That's lovely! I think tea and cake is an absolute must for the two of you. Will be nice to see you LO again.

My mum refuses to be anything grandma related. She is Annie Bo to my nephew who has picked it up so I guess it will stick with mine too!

Carolann8584 · 01/03/2017 21:43

Oh my mum picked Nana, first grandchild, she's very excited

My DF on the other hand is still coming to terms with having a grandchild, doesn't want to be called grandad, says he's too young (59) lol

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 01/03/2017 22:49

Good luck with the scan tomorrow Carol - it's lovely that your Mum is going with you. And snow?! I'm jealous.

Sorry they didn't have more info for you User as the waiting must be hard. At least Tuesday isn't too far away..Fingers crossed baby is still at 10th or higher.

Welcome back Slurple..I'm 36+2 today but no planned CS! Good luck with the growth scan - let us know how you get on.

Wow Bobbis - how exciting! It's great that they are happy with how she is doing etc...crazy to think that next week you will have your lovely baby!

Welcome back Bridget! How are you feeling now? Hopefully your baby decides to make an appearance before 13th.

Great news that you've finished up work, and that everyone is on the mend Hugh. Now the baby can arrive :) Though I suppose you might like some time off in between!

I like your positive thinking Name, and have the same thoughts about sweeps and induction. Hopefully you won't have to make any decisions though and BabyName arrives in the coming days!

Ha, my Mum is the opposite Garathea - she can't wait to be Granny. I hope the last few weeks aren't dragging for you..

Snow again tonight ladies, quite heavy, hope I can get my car down the hill for my scan tomorrow Confused

Just let my dog out for his bedtime tinkle, he's black and came in looking like a confused dalmatian lol!

MotherofA · 01/03/2017 23:51

Good luck with the snow and scan Carol !

Hugh I've been seriously hormonal too haha .

Oh my hips and pelvis were so painful last night I actually dreamt I had broken my hip !! Is anyone else waking several times in a night with pain or to pee ?

Not long now ladies I hope everyone is ok . I had a very unproductive day today and have lots of catching up on work and housework to do tomorrow . Happy DD picked a character from Malory Towers for world book day tomorrow , not too much effort haha /

Carolann8584 · 01/03/2017 23:57

mother that's me every night, struggling to sleep on either side and can't sleep on stomach or back so waking every 45mins to an hour to change position or to pee, funnily enough when I try and nap on the sofa I'm fine. Considering sleeping downstairs until she arrives lol

I sorted out my DSSs costumes for tomorrow we have a BFG and Fantastic Mr Fox, my OH took them round to his exs after work for the boys, they loved their outfits Smile

Garethea · 02/03/2017 09:21

I don't remember the last time I slept through the night... I'm training DH on what it's like living with a newborn..... :)

I tend to get woken every twenty mins or so to turn over. Get sharp pains in my pubic bone? Maybe. Not it really sure what area it is.

Hope everyone has something nice planned for today. Wonder if any babies might make an appearance??

bobbis · 02/03/2017 09:52

Good luck today Carol :)

What is sleep? Confused I've had crampy legs and hips for weeks. I feel like my body is in training for having a newborn with the constant up and down. My DS didn't sleep through until 3yo so I have no high expectations this time round!

I'm gutted my DS school never takes part in World Book Day :( they get a voucher and have a PJ day tomorrow but no dressing up. I love making costumes, he was such a cute Oompa Loompa on Roahl Dahl week

MotherofA · 02/03/2017 10:56

Haha sounds like we are all in the same boat ! I think you may be right garethea about it preparing us for getting up with a new born . No doubt it will be a shock for me it's many many years since I had to .
Ah that's rubbish about WBD bobbis! everyone moans about it but it is cute when they get dressed up . Smile Carol how lovely of you to get DSS costumes bless you !

Garethea · 02/03/2017 12:02

I'm not gonna lie. I'm looking forward to dress up. My poor child will be many many different characters... Probably starting with some Easter related given the time of year. Even if I go over due, LO should be here by Easter Sunday. Just...

The oompa loompa, bfg and fantastic Mr fox all sound adorable.

How did the scan go carol?

MotherofA · 02/03/2017 12:48

Haha cute ! My sister put my nephew in a blue Easter bunny outfit when he was a baby last year so I might follow suit with a pink one haha !

Carolann8584 · 02/03/2017 12:50

Just finished with the MW, little bean is measuring a healthy 6.9lbs! Yay little chubster

Back next Thursday for a examination and sweep

NameChange30 · 02/03/2017 12:54

Carolann8584 · 02/03/2017 14:43

I had a hot choc with cheese and mushroom toastie followed by a caramel shortbread! Could only handle half the shortbread tho Confused but today is definitely better than yesterday Grin

That bunny outfit is soooo cute!

MotherofA · 02/03/2017 16:21

NameChange30 · 02/03/2017 16:22

So I went for a nursing bra fitting and the lovely ladies looked very alarmed when they asked how far along I am and I said 40+3 Grin

OP posts:
NameChange30 · 02/03/2017 16:23

Hahaha when I said to a lady in the post office and another in costa that I had 9 days left they looked like they were gone my to heart failure and told me to get home ?! (In a joking way ) haha .
Oh name your talk of bra fitting reminds me of when I went to get measured after DD and the lady said "oh my !" ... proceeded to measure then said "oh you haven't lost your size just your volume !"
Well thanks Doris if I didn't feel awful about my body before I sure do now 😂😂. Got to say they did improve again over time anyway though .

Carolann8584 · 02/03/2017 18:11

Has anyone been told they will be induced on their due date? MW said they don't want me to go over

NameChange30 · 02/03/2017 18:26

Mother Charming! Shock Grin

Carol They can strongly recommend it but they can't tell you - you have to consent and have the right to refuse. What's the reason they've given, is it because of your blood pressure or something?
