Ooh exciting Carol Smile Hope your midwife appointment goes ok.
Mother we did similar, sons birthday 08/04 and baby due 29/03 but with a 5 year gap...but one day difference eek
I'm back in for monitoring today, 3rd day in a row now...hospital seems to be becoming my second home. Find out on Tuesday, if all stays the same, when they're going to induce me. Now I've got over the initial fear the excitement of meeting her has kicked in.
Won't be long until we all have our babies.

Thank you Hugh Smile
At 34 weeks she was around 4lb 2/3, they only do growth scans twice weekly so I have to wait until next Tuesday at 36 weeks to see how much she's gained. Just been having Doppler scans and CTGs for the past few days as her movements slowed down on Wednesday. They're happy, so I'm just taking it day by day at the mo. Been a bit awkward being in and out and having a 4 year old at home too though.

MotherofA · 24/02/2017 10:11

Wow Hugh hats off to you , you sound like a bloody super mum !
I have lots of work to do too . I can actually see myself not bothering to take time off at this rate haha. Working from home it's hard to switch off isn't it ? I've been doing lots the last week . Ah hope your little one gets better asap that's not what you need !
Bobbis I hope everything goes well and glad they are watching you closely . Keep us posted .
We should have a babies born in March thread when they all arrive! Would love to hear how everyone gets on and get advice etc Smile

Annilack · 24/02/2017 15:06

Been following this thread with great interest. I'm not due until the 31st March so I'm looking forward to watching how everyone gets on before its my turn. I have also heard good things about raspberry leaf tea. I think it's definitely worth a try.

MotherofA · 24/02/2017 15:37

Hi Anni Smile

Carolann8584 · 24/02/2017 15:53

Well stayed in until 2 waiting for my MW was told she was coming in the morning and I pop out for 45 minutes and when I get back I have a card through my door saying she came at 2:30. She left me her number and a note to say she's coming back tomorrow

MotherofA · 24/02/2017 17:11

Wow that's efficient ! Haha ! Why is she doing a home visit ? I'm seeing mine next Friday at the docs , hoping it's a different woman lol

Carolann8584 · 24/02/2017 18:29

My community midwife only works in practice on Wednesdays so for the rest of the week she does home visits.

She's just coming to check my BP, she did it twice on Wednesday and the first was high but the second was low so she's just checking it. I have a BP machine at home so might check myself later Smile

MotherofA · 24/02/2017 23:27

Might as well give it a whirl Smile

Carolann8584 · 24/02/2017 23:48

BP fine 125/86

Cramps again tonight, don't understand how I can nap on the sofa on my left or right but if I try to sleep in bed on either side I get aches and pains Confused and my hands go numb.

Don't really want to sleep on the sofa until my LO arrives.

MotherofA · 25/02/2017 07:53

Omg I am exactly the same ! As soon as I get in bed I'm aching etc plus have been getting weird tingling down left arm & pins and needles sometimes. Grrrr Hmm

Carolann8584 · 25/02/2017 10:53

Little beany has done a spin this morning, her bum has been under my right ribs since about week 31 this morning it's definitely moved to the left side and sticking out, I have a wonky bump now lol 😁

Gave up sleeping at about 6, knackered now trying to stay awake coz I know as soon as I start to snooze the midwife will show up

Watching Trolls under duvet after tea and bath Grin mmmm popcorn as well

MotherofA · 25/02/2017 22:37

Omg Hugh !! So exciting !! Eeeek keep us posted ! I am starting to panic about doing a deep clean I literally don't get chance ! The house is moderately clean and tidy always but not new baby arriving clean !
Oh no Carol you could do without that I bet bless you . No sick kids here (got DSC) but it's DD and DSD joint party tomorrow . Help lol .
I have done their party as a joint smack bang between both birthdays which I wouldn't normally do but with being pregnant I told DD it's the closest I could do to her birthday (11days) . They are both excited I've gone all out as my DD is 10 so I've paid for stuff I normally wouldn't Grin

Ohhhhhh it's so exciting!

No I hate parties at home and avoid them as much as possible haha . In fact parties in general tbh it's purely because it's her tenth I've made a fuss (and the baby coming) . It's at this retro Videogame place but they have music dancing etc . I took her to a party there are it looked fun so I went for it haha. Wish me luck !
Has anyone started to really waddle as in it's uncomfortable not waddling lol ? I look like a weeble haha
