Mother
Nothing to report I'm afraid, no more leakages, clearly it was a false alarm!
Sounds like you have PGP - I have very similar symptoms and can't stand or walk for long at all. I've seen an osteopath a few times and that's helped, if it's something you would consider?
Baby has been very active this evening and has decided to headbutt my cervix... OUCH!
I've been online shopping for him for days, clearly he's not very grateful Grin

huge yeah she following the curve more now, the measurements on the "small" scan were wrong. She's currently around 6lbs so on track Grin set up her little corner of our room today, looks so cute.

I've got a routine MW appointment next week, my first since before Xmas! Because I've spent so much time going to the hospital I haven't seen her. Then I have another scan on the 28th, not sure why as the last 2 have her measuring OK but not going to complain they are keeping an extra eye on my little (or not so little) bean

MotherofA · 15/02/2017 22:48

Haha Hugh ! Reckon these little ones might give us grief in years to come haha 😂
Carol that's good news ! I can't wait for mine on 22nd .
Sorry to sound totally thick guys but what is PGP?? haha I am divvy ! Just keep thinking 3 weeks left lol and riding it out...

For PGP is it continuous pain or can it last for a minute then go then come back again for a minute and so on? I had pain the other night that came and went for about an hour, maybe 4-5 times in an hour. Was really painful

MotherofA · 15/02/2017 23:02

I'm going to give that a google now ! Yes it does hurt a lot in bed at night . Anyone else slowly getting killed off to the breathlessness ??

I am Mother - it's also not helping that my hypnobirthing cd keeps talking about taking long deep breaths, which are just not happening here!

Sorry to read about your change in birth plan Bobbis - that must have been a shock!

It'll be exciting to get all the baby stuff back Hugh. How have your baby's growth measurements been going?

I missed your excitement Name! Probably a good idea to sort out your hospital bag alright :)

Good luck with your mw appointment next week Carol!

The thing about pain is that it's rarely constant at the same level, it usually fluctuates. So you might have a low level of pain most of the time and it gets worse at certain times (e.g. at night or when doing certain things) or just randomly. I didn't realise just how much constant low-level pain I was in until I saw the osteopath and felt loads better.

Pelvic girdle pain is an umbrella term for pain in a lot of places - it can be anywhere around your pelvis, lower back, hips and groin.

Well after a tough week had a meeting at work and starting my Mat leave this week not next week. Really struggled with sleep this week and work people have noticed

MotherofA · 16/02/2017 17:53

Thanks ladies ! Yes I definitely struggle with the pain in bed . Back has been ok since Tuesday though thank goodness.
Hahaha Genghis no deep breaths here either !

Carolann8584 · 17/02/2017 16:35

I've bought reusable breast pads. I got Little Lamb bamboo breast pads from this shop:
www.clothnappyshop.co.uk/product/little_lamb_breast_pads
They arrived the day after I ordered and they seem to be lovely and soft Smile

Hugh
How many weeks are you now? To encourage the baby to move position you could follow this advice or see an osteopath maybe?
Hard to answer your question about the breast pads as I've never used any, but I read the reviews and most people seemed very happy with them including with the absorbency. Only a few people said they're not absorbent enough and maybe they had very leaky boobs?!

I was 36 weeks yesterday and my baby is definitely in a very strange position but I guess as I'm having ELCS it doesn't matter ? It's just really y comfortable . Strange how we are the same gestation and babies have moved at the same time to the same place Hugh haha.
Hope every one is feeling well ? Is anyone else having friends family wanting to meet yo before baby comes ? I am meant to be seeing 3 different people tomorrow (I can't and don't know who to cancel ) and hair done tues morn (can't be bothered ) then another friend tues afternoon !
Since being pregnant I have to keep pulling out 2 greys (I'm 32) never had grey hair before !

Well I was a bit gutted to be finishing, really felt like I was being made redundant or something but I know it's for the best, still not sleeping great, getting tired of sleeping on my left but I can't sleep on my back and if I try to sleep on my right my left leg,hip and lower bump ache and throb so much I have to move which isn't easy. So I'm having about 3hours broken sleep a night and napping if I can.

Finished my pregnancy yoga course on Friday, we've gone through all the positions and breathing to help with labour and leading up to it.

Was asked how I'm feeling about labour etc. Said I think I'm in denial as I haven't worried, had any anxiety or panicked about it yet lol! Confused

MotherofA · 19/02/2017 20:57

Oh yes Hugh ! I forgot that part too haha how random ?!
Ah Carol bless you ! Sounds like you need all the rest you can get ! What's your due date again ?
The breathlessness is really taking its toll on me now but not long left hey .
Carol what's the plan with having your DSS after the baby ? Will your DP bring them to see you in the hospital?

Carolann8584 · 19/02/2017 21:29

I'm 36+3 at the mo, was going to finish this Friday so only a week early. Due 16th March. I've been getting breathless even when sat down depends if she stretchings, her legs/bum just under my ribs so can really take my breath away. Putting my socks on has become a battle!

If she arrives over the weekend then yes the boys will be coming to see us in the hospital but if she arrives during the week they will have a surprise when my OH picks them up. I think they will guess if I'm not there though.
