Hugh and Genghis you guys may appreciate this more then the others but I've just discovered that Dunnes Stores deliver to the UK! I love Dunnes baby clothes 😍

My mum has been sending me over bits and piece but I've just been online and will definitely be doing some orders at some point! The Leigh tucker stuff is gorgeous (although pricey for baby clothes!). I don't love the tesco stuff so much but Aldi had lovely stuff at their last baby special buy.

NameChange30 · 09/02/2017 13:35

I'm really struggling today and would appreciate some hand-holding and sympathy!

Feeling exhausted and weepy. People keep telling me I look pale. Just shuffled around the supermarket in pain, could barely stand upright, clinging onto the trolley! Lower back is killing me and loads of pressure on my cervix / pelvic floor which hurts like hell. Constantly hungry, craving meat and carbs and sugar, and DH is going on about eating healthily - feeling unreasonably murderous towards him most of the time.

I'm not even a week into maternity leave! I potentially have several more weeks of this before baby comes! HELP! Sad

Holding hand Name i'm like that most evenings, think I would be in pain all day if I wasn't sat at my desk (2 weeks left)

I just have to give my OH THE LOOK when he mentions food to me! first trimester couldn't keep much down so ate what I could, Second trimester got normal appetite back, third trimester same as the first only now I just feel full constantly and when I do get a serge of hunger I eat what I like!

Takes me all my time walking round the house and work, good on you for doing the shopping!! Smile

Oh and I had " oh you look tired, are you nearly done(with pregnancy)" comment when I picked up a few bits the other day, the cashier got THE LOOK as well.

Works wonders Grin

MotherofA · 09/02/2017 19:54

Ah bless you Name Flowers , hope you are feeling better now . I am definitely feeling the same with food . My usual size portions don't fill me and been having desserts a lot . Yes we know it's not good hey but we feel shitty enough !

MotherofA · 09/02/2017 19:59

My baby has definitely turned ! She feels transverse Confused so bizarre

NameChange30 · 09/02/2017 22:08

Thank you all Smile It is a comfort to know I'm not the only one! I felt a bit better after getting a hug from DH, lunch (including a huge piece of chocolate cake Grin) and a nap. We've decided I'm going to avoid food shopping from now on, DH will do it or we'll do it online! He also unloaded it all from the car and tidied it away, he's such a star.

I've realised that I'm terrible at not doing anything but I must give into it and rest or I'm going to be miserable and in pain until baby arrives!

I feel your pain Name , I'm crap at doing nothing too but also think I should start !

Hugh yes I actually felt it in bed and urgh it felt strange , now the same as you her head feels lower left and feet at the right . Bump also a strange shape Grin
Wonder what the rascals are up to in there ?! Anyone else felt hiccups ? I did again tonight and it was really strong where her head now is haha .

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 10/02/2017 05:22

Sorry you've been feeling rotten Name but glad to see you're feeling better. The food shopping delegation sounds like a good idea, especially when you're in so much pain. I also forgot to congratulate you on being full term - exciting times!

Lovely to hear from you Butter! I'm glad that there were no surprises at your appointment, and hope you're feeling somewhat more prepared. Lucky you don't live where I am - you have three days to register the baby's birth or they will choose a name for you!!

Mother I feel the hiccups as a really weird sensation. For a while I wasn't even sure that's what they were but I guess it is as they seem to be by his head and rhythmic, kind of like a ticking sensation. Odd :)

Thanks Cloey I hadn't even thought to check if Dunnes did overseas deliveries...that Leigh Tucker stuff is lovely.

Ha, I must perfect the stare Carol, I got a 'you look like a broken woman' the other day but actually I had to agree with her because I did feel (and look!) pretty crap :) Good luck with your DD's room...it'll be lovely to have it all finished.

Glad your appointment went well Hugh and hopefully your little mover decides to go head down soon. Clearly there's some solidarity going on with Mother's DD.

Carolann8584 · 10/02/2017 11:12

Anybody had a sharp pain in their bump? Like a stitch or pull pain, lower left bump.

Midwife?

I get those constantly... i believe it's round ligament pain.

Carolann8584 · 10/02/2017 22:02

Had a sit down with a brew, paon went away. Spoken to midwife she suggested I take it easy, I described what I had been doing today and was told I'm over doing it I need to start taking it easy, the pains are ligaments taking the strain of beany growing and me not slowing down, my own fault I still try and do everything I did before I got pregnant and at the same pace.

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 10/02/2017 23:31

Sounds like a very good reason to take it easy Carol...You'll have to take a supervisor's role for the decorating of your DD's room :)

MotherofA · 12/02/2017 00:49

Yes I also had sharp pains today ! Had a manic couple of days and one more to go of DD dance shows , out house all day 😩 . DD asked why I was in pain I said just one of those things !
Hope you are feeling better Carol and everyone having a great weekend . 😘

Carolann8584 · 12/02/2017 08:17

Much better after hectic day Friday, I tried to take it easy yesterday Smile

Boy's room finished and they loved it, even wanted to go to bed early lol!

Nothing planned for today so will be nice and relaxed. Also day to myself tomorrow, might see about getting my hair and nails done Grin

melissacx9 · 12/02/2017 11:28

Well ladies, my baby was super impatient! He was due 3/3 and was instead born 2/2 via emergency c-section as he had wrapped himself around his cord like a straight jacket & so his heart rate kept dropping. My Alexander was born at 35+6 and so was classed as premature, but after a 5 day stay in hospital we are now settled in at home and he's doing amazing.

Thank you so much for all of the advice and support I have received from you all over the last few months and good luck with the rest of your pregnancies!

NameChange30 · 12/02/2017 12:37

melissa
Congratulations! That sounds stressful but it's great to hear he's doing well Smile Hope you're making a good recovery too! xx
