I ducked out of work at 10am today to go for a routine consultant appointment Im consultant led because my mum had Pre-Eclampsia with my little sister.
Growth all fine and they said they'll discharge me from them in four weeks if baby isn't still breech.
Get half way back to school where I work and they ring me back saying that they want to give me a CTG.
So lucky my boss (headteacher) is understanding.
They want to be on safe side as I'd said that Id felt less movements in last day.
Seems like overkill but I suppose they have to be sure.
Scan showed that baby's back is against front wall of my uterus so I'm not too surprised I'm feeling less movement.
Been in waiting room for an hour now!
There's no one in the waiting room and loads of staff wondering around.
Is this common for Maternity day units?
Last time I came I waited to be seen For five hours for them to just send me home non the wiser.
