Yes, a huge relief. It was a special clinic for people with potential problems and the woman after me left in tears, very sobering. I hope she's ok.

I ducked out of work at 10am today to go for a routine consultant appointment Im consultant led because my mum had Pre-Eclampsia with my little sister.
Growth all fine and they said they'll discharge me from them in four weeks if baby isn't still breech.

Get half way back to school where I work and they ring me back saying that they want to give me a CTG.

So lucky my boss (headteacher) is understanding.

They want to be on safe side as I'd said that Id felt less movements in last day.

Seems like overkill but I suppose they have to be sure.

Scan showed that baby's back is against front wall of my uterus so I'm not too surprised I'm feeling less movement.

Been in waiting room for an hour now!

There's no one in the waiting room and loads of staff wondering around.

Is this common for Maternity day units?
Last time I came I waited to be seen For five hours for them to just send me home non the wiser.

Fantastic news about the scan soloman

Until I went for the private 4d scan I couldn't have told you how she was laying in there. Apparently she's head down with her bum on the left, curling her feet round to the right ☺
How many more threads do you think we'll fit in before our baby's arrive & will you post when/as you go in to labour?!

SolomanDaisy · 04/10/2016 16:23

Thanks bigfam. I knew she'd moved from head down, where she was at the previous scan, but I couldn't tell exactly where she was!

Bumble, I've only been to one once and I was hooked up to the machine within about ten minutes. That was five years ago though and I was bleeding so might have been treated as a priority.

Lovewatchingrainfall · 04/10/2016 16:33

I think a few more threads to go and would love to be updated on labours and births. Be interesting to see how many are close to the due date.

Had a lovely day at the zoo but now I'm so tired and heart burn is back.

Hi all. Just to say the voucher code MM21 gives 10% off all Jojoba Maman Bebe in October. Just bought myself a winter coat which will do for baby wearing as well. Bit extravagant but oh well, I won't be needing a new Christmas party dress this year.

Kitch82 · 04/10/2016 16:46

barkingtreefrog · 04/10/2016 19:56

Just googled the car seat thing as I was intending to use one that is probably 8 years old (but has been sat unused for the last 6+ years).
Found this which talks about expiry dates.
