Yes it is my first goinggrey, I am usually a size 8 so guessing the baby had no where to go but out (quite early on).

ElodieS · 03/09/2016 14:17

Marking spot.

Hope everyone's having a good weekend, I'll catch up later - running around like a mad thing today!

E xx

goinggrey1978 · 03/09/2016 14:21

daisychain07, ahh me too, my usual size is 16 but could get into 12s and 14s when i lost all weight, my friends at work said you can tell it's not food fatness, its baby shaped!! and it does look a completely different shaped to my normal fatness plus its very hard at times too, its going to be a busy and exciting first week back at school that's for sure!!

stripeyorangesocks71 · 03/09/2016 14:31

Marking my place on the thread! Smile

Theaks · 03/09/2016 16:26

Good afternoon. Place marking

duxb · 03/09/2016 16:49

Placemarking. Hope all are well.

Pelvic pain is really hurting now - I manage through the week, having the short night sleeps that come with hubs hours and normal requirements (would get 6 hours if I slept through but never do), walking the dog etc and then I get to the weekend and it's like my body goes "nope". Such a pain. Only 8 weeks left at work though.

So off to mooch about when I should be vacuuming upstairs!

goinggrey1978 · 03/09/2016 18:04

Just got back from the emergency gps, I've gota chest infection and antibiotics, apparently us pregnant ladies are more susceptible to germs!!

Bigfam · 03/09/2016 18:07

Oh no goinggrey1978 at least you didn't just put it down to being a cough and saw a gp, now you can get it sorted ☺ hope you feel better soon

goinggrey1978 · 03/09/2016 18:13

Bigfam, thanks it was only because i rang my pharmacist to check whether i could have any cough mixture and she said that i needed to see a doctor that i rang 111, lucky i did, at least i'm coughing up the yellow and green gunk though!!

veryfriendlylion · 03/09/2016 19:34

Hope you feel better soon goinggrey - take care of yourself!

Thisisbonkers · 03/09/2016 19:41

Happy weekend everyone!

I'm off to google GD symptoms now. I have no risk factors (i presume, nobody has mentioned anything) but I do consume a lot of sugar Blush and I'm peeing an awful lot Confused

Thisisbonkers · 03/09/2016 19:41

I hope the antibiotics kick in soon, goinggrey

Babydreaming · 03/09/2016 19:56

For the past few days I feel like I did in my 1st trimester! I've had nausea (and vomited twice) and have also just been feeling dizzy/exhausted. I'm almost 27 weeks now, not sure if this is normal as you get towards final trimester? I felt amazing from 12-24 weeks! I got back from travelling around south east Asia for 2.5 weeks so I'm hoping its just a bit of jet lag! Anyone else had return of nausea?

Kitch82 · 03/09/2016 20:01

I did the energetic task of sorting some washing put this morning and had to sit down cos I got dizzy and hot. Had a lie down then promptly had to run to be sick. I really thought I'd seen the end of it, I had regular sickness until 23 weeks. Bleurgh, I've got nothing done for the rest of the day.

Bella1985 · 03/09/2016 20:14

Get well soon goinggray and gutted for kitch and babydreaming with the return of vomiting. Hopefully its a one off for you. X

SolomanDaisy · 03/09/2016 20:26

Oh no, the return of nausea sounds terrible! I hope it's just a passing thing.

I just ordered a bargain Chicco Next 2 Me, they're €219 everywhere here but Bol (bit like Dutch Amazon) have it reduced to €169 today. I wasn't going to order it until we're ready to put stuff in the nursery (currently an office), but didn't want to miss the good price!

kittyscot81 · 03/09/2016 20:52

Place marking Wink

goinggrey1978 · 03/09/2016 21:03

thanks everyone, the coughing is just annoying and giving me a headache, so off to bed soon with some paracetamol

Kitch82, i use a little stool to load my washing machine as it saves me having to bend down and having head rushes and having hot flushes

Eskerina81 · 03/09/2016 21:42

Place marking Smile

firawla · 03/09/2016 21:43

Get well soon all those who are feeling crap! I've been sick today as well, I'm hoping it's a one off - most of my sickness ended by about 18/20 weeks but I've found that if I'm under the weather I'll just be sick, maybe lower immune system with being pregnant??

tipboov sorry about your gd! I was going to suggest the gestational diabetes U.K. FB group too, there's loads of support in there! I had gd last time and although it does mean more monitoring everything went okay - hope it doesn't affect the kind of birth you get too much!

Kitch82 · 03/09/2016 22:21

goinggrey that's a fab idea, thanks. Deffo think the repeated bending over brought it on.

daisychain07 · 03/09/2016 22:23

I have had awful sickness all the way through. At 16 weeks I was put in anti sickness tablets which have worked wonders. I have tried to stop taking them a couple of times and the sickness returns immediately. Think I'll stick to the tablets! Wink

Admarks · 03/09/2016 23:47

Place marking! Flowers to all who have sickness and nausea!

nightcap · 04/09/2016 05:27

Insomnia strikes again... Woke up about 4am and my brain decided it would be a good time to try and work out the timings of my maternity leave and calculate it all which has totally woken me up. Grrr. Hope the rest of you are having a nice deep sleep!

Bigfam · 04/09/2016 06:23
